✴ ofcondemnation !!
HE’S A BIT SURPRISING, just by his appearance, but such thoughts are of course normal, but of course peter did not ever think about such a thing as ‘ normal ’. he assumes him to be not unlike the natives he is familiar of, and pan shall present himself proudly as if this man is one of the natives. he knows quite well that he is not, but this was some of his make believing, and make believe was always reality. his posture is well, befitting of an authority boy, though he’s the only good type of authority, really ; and that is part of what composes his proud grin.

✴ chemlem !!
IN THE CITY YOU COULD FIND MANY A SHRUB, many a sapling and many of their elders, and these plants, of course, had taken the most liking to the sixth district. peter remembers the kensington gardens quite well, as if it were just the day before yesterday ( as, in terms of memory, yesterday is the neverland, or it could very well be that morning, which all in all does seem more fitting ), and this place is nothing like it at all, for kensington is much more extravagant in many, many ways. for example, he’d yet to find a faerie, or even smell its dust or hear its bells, and he’d checked every flower three times each as he had searched the garden most thoroughly three times, and before that just a little under thoroughly a few more times. not a single faerie was hiding as or in a flower, and peter pan felt truly disappointed at that.
of course, he would forget as soon as he’d given up his search in favour of better adventures beckoning him, and he would come back and look in exactly the same procedure and patience as he had been & was now, but he would never remember that he had ever been here, or remember that he had ever forgotten.
Tumblr media
in his searchings, he does look quite quizzical, but he cares not how odd he appears, for he is focused upon the faeries still.

✴ windwakerings !!
THIS BOY IS, INDEED, SPECIAL. his tunic is green, not unlike peter’s, showing that surely he must be someone heroic like himself; he knows the existence of many faeries, not a single one to have spent much time on it but have danced to him nonetheless, as he knows from a single glance & sniff; he carries the wooden sword similar to his, perhaps carved a bit differently but shall be wielded the same, and peter pan must think that this other is someone of the fantasies that are the only reality, just like himself. not someone from the neverland, certainly, as he knew all who had ever taken up in the land and did not come back to their london origins.
we even have the same hat, tink!! is what he’ll be telling.
this “ district beta ” is not far off from his “ district alpha ”, and being peter pan he must explore everything. of course, not all of alpha is fully mapped as he’s mostly conducted brief overviews and not gone into complete thoroughness, knowing every smallest depression in every wall, because it’s only been such a short time. there’s much, much to yet explore, and he shall not be taking any hesitation. so this is where he finds him, the green - clad sword - bearing boy, and peter’s voice bounces & echoes throughout the tunnels of this beta place.
Tumblr media
up in the restricted air he looks down upon him and a smile is, of course, painted onto his face, the same as his curiosity. ❝ Why, who are you?!    Let me guess, you hear the stories?    Or you just want to be a plain hero, like me? ❞
now, keep in mind, peter pan did not actively think of himself as a hero. he thought himself the ultimate adventurer, the one who’d conquered the neverland and mastered the skies of london, but if provoked in any way, he would indeed introduce himself as the neverland’s hero. whether this was true or not was perhaps debatable, but it was he who had sliced the hand of hook and fed the croc’, and it was him who’d saved wendy from treacheries, and it was him who’d saved his men from ever being more than youth. never mind the lost boys who’d died, never mind the trouble he’d caused, it was all very heroic of him!

✴ mystickismypower !!
HE SMELLS THE FAERIE DUST ON HIM. it’s certainly there & peter pan would be a fool to question or deny or ignore, and naturally, he is nothing of the sort! he doesn’t spend time in hesitation, making sure he really detected it or anything like that ― worrying wasn’t something he did, never has, never will. there’s simply too many joys in life for that.
this must be a boy from one of two places, and those are kensington gardens and the neverland. he knows ( believes, but what he believes is what he knows ) that those who come to the gardens tend to grow up much faster than those who visit the neverland. it’s not some garden faerie’s spillings on him, anyway! it’s none other than the faerie he knows best, his most cared for. tinkerbell may remember ringing her chimes and sprinkling her magics all over him, but he sure doesn’t. he knows tink’s dust from just the smallest trace, though, and of course peter is never wrong, especially when it comes to something like this.
Tumblr media
❝ Halt, you there !    Do I know you?    Or do you know me?    Well, you know Tink of course.    You’ve been to the Neverland of course! ❞
