Hyperthimia... That's not what I was expecting after walking out of the Mental Health Services building in my small town. Yet I left feeling suddenly understood, as if multiple light bulbs had finally gone off in my head.
Immediately I texted my mother (Foster), sending through the details and an article about hyperthimia. I impatiently waited for her to read the article and reply. Minutes later, she replied with "That's very interesting babe, sounds like you your whole life. The closest we got to it was calling you our dancing drama queen. Sounds like Donna from Mama Mia! X"
She's right, I can be a bit of Donna from Mama Mia. I think Mum, Queen of the subtle roast, was roasting and complimenting me at the same time. Lol.
So, in saying that, this blog is dedicated to my Mum, Queen of the subtle roast, the most selfless person I know, and the one who saved me. I wouldn't be half the person I am today without that woman.
Here, I will write about living with hyperthimia, adhd and genetic links to my bio family. I will also natter on about;
The highs and lows (mostly highs because hyperthimia lol) of life.
Gardening which is my greatest pleasure.
Fast cars, which I know, are rather contradictory to the gardening.
And my cats Fuji and Rio.
