needed a quick dopamine hit from a finished project, so i did something quick :3
is a christmas ornament from a Bucilla kit :3
Only change i made was i replaced the fabric with a plastic canvas so it keeps it's shape longer without having to fight with cardboard.

two things:
- did not like the plumes on his back, trading them out for copper barring, which looks miles better.
-was losing track of the growht pattern in his tail, so i marked that out as well.

WIP [partial view] -Angha
Just finished the head of the Angha digital painting i've started to work on recently. my goal will be to eventually sell prints. they're basically a mix of peacock and canine. decided to lean into the bronze colormorph of peacock, and a black dog.
I'm using clip studio and an oil brush that came default to the program with a few tweaks to the settings, as well as a blend brush and an airbrush to help with some of the color gradients and blending where the brush itself doesn't cooperate.
the finished image will have two angha and some flowering shrubs/trees.

Here's another concept for Broken Horizon - a dragon pilot saddle! Ft. Alex as the model (and Riptide as the pilot, even if you can't see his face)
Modern saddles were jointly developed by dragons and humans post-war to make dragon riding safer and flying more precise, as regular reins and voice commands quickly became obsolete.
In these saddles the control sticks on the pilot's seat transmit inputs to the steering modules, which are then interpreted into nerve impulses for the dragon to follow. However they are not hard commands, and the dragon can still choose to ignore the impulses for any reason. This means that the dragon and the pilot must have an incredibly strong trust bond for the best performance.

they amuse me XD
i learned that in India, there is a species of giant squirrel that have multicoloured fur, with with varying shades of orange, maroon and purple. Their bodies measure 36in from head to tail – double the size of their grey relatives – and they can leap 20ft between trees (x)

So what this paint company does is take iron pollution from abandoned mines that are polluting soils and rivers and makes iron based red pigment paints out of it.
Basically they realized hey no one's cleaning this shit up, it's polluting the streams, killing all the fish, making the water undrinkable and there's a huge market for it so why not make money by cleaning it the fuck up?
They remove this stuff by the industrial bucket load from the rivers. The idea is if it's in a painting, if it's in your home, it's not poisoning wildlife.

some gouache doodles from the last... two? days.
been practicing gesture drawing and speed sketching with gouache to try and pin an idea in place without wasting tons of time on specifics. though the last page was nothing but fanart of monster hunter and a friend’s wyvern from Century:Age of Ash, i don’t play it myself, but how could i not when their wyvern is such a pretty lil bastard.
kinda gave up half way through the rathalos tho XD dreadking be rough to block out with paint XP
