It's a red flag because that much of an age gap almost always leads to extremely unhealthy power imbalances in the relationship. I don't feel like explaining an intro to Psych class to you, but there's plenty of reading and research out there to show why relationships with age gaps that big just aren't a good idea.

The other red flag might be personal, because maybe I'm old fashioned but I feel like you need to be with someone a LOT longer than a YEAR to decide if you want to spend the rest of your life with them. A year is just way too short of an amount of time to decide "yup this is the rest of my life right here."

And then retiring from the entertainment industry as a whole is the last one. Like it's one thing for her to retire as an idol. That's understandable, Elris and Alice never really popped off and being an idol is stressful. But going "yeah I'm not even going to model anymore" as well feels like a lot when she did have a good amount of success doing that. Maybe you're right and she just never wants to work again, who knows?

Look, at the end of the day, I want her to be happy. That is the only thing I care about as a fan. If this marriage is what she truly wants, then I sincerely hope it works out from the bottom of my heart. Truly. I'm just saying I'm not gonna put money on this to last.

Look, I hope Sohee's marriage works. As a true fan, and not somebody fucking delusional, I want her to be happy and have the life she wants to have. I want nothing more than for this marriage to be everything she could ever want.

But at the same time, 15 year gap and only a year of dating are two of the biggest red flags short of "oh yeah I've killed someone before". Rushing into a marriage with someone more than a decade older than you is just a recipe for disaster. Plus to immediately retire? I get that Sohee was in a nugu group and wasn't really super popular, but that still feels like a lot. It says it's either a shotgun wedding or there's some abusive manipulation going on, maybe even both.

But all these worries could just be misguided. In fact, I would love nothing more. I would absolutely LOVE to be wrong about this.

So I'm just going to wish a congratulations and pray that this is truly a good thing and not what I worry it actually is.

I remember enjoying Clean With Passion For Now, but it's been a long time since I watched it. I tried Backstreet Rookie but didn't like the age gap between the main characters so couldn't get into it and dropped it. And I honestly haven't heard of that last one.

Sejeong and Kang Mina binges will both have their ups and downs. Kang Mina includes Hotel del Luna though, so you should start with her lol.
