A Vampire’s appearance will shift to resemble that which they feed on the most. Trust not the ones who are visions of human beauty - for friends they are not. Instead seek those with a monstrous countenance such as that of rats, lizards or even insects because those are our true friends.

How many vampires do you think have been hit by a car backing up in a parking lot because the driver couldn't see their reflection
I’ve never considered it but you’re really shining light on what’s probably a very serious issue

tropes that will always f*ck me up
composed characters losing their composure
kind characters snapping
characters hugging each other after one or both of them have been through hell
character cradling their significant other’s face while they kiss
character says something hurtful. later on in the movie they are in a similar situation and say something kind instead.
self sacrifice
griefstricken women (who under normal circumstances wouldn’t hurt a fly) lashing out and striking the person responsible for the loss of their loved one
ugly crying
characters struggling to talk because they’re about to cry
characters reuniting with someone whom they thought were dead
FOREHEAD KISSES

So everyone talks about praise kink right? But I think there's something to be said for a reassurance kink.
"That's it, you're doing it right, darling, don't worry."
Any guidance through even the simplest of tasks.
"I'm here, I'm not going anywhere."
Feeling weight, like a hand resting on a shoulder or thigh.
Making eye contact and getting a smile and nod back that says, you're doing great, keep going.
Being hushed or swayed while receiving back rubs.
Being fully surrounded by their body while they say, "it's okay now, I'm here, you're safe."

Man it’s so weird that people go after ao3 for hosting fucked up fanfiction. Not because thats a dumb thing to invest energy into in the first place ( it is though) but because i remember back when ffnet was the place to be and fics on there were way more demented on average than your typical ao3 fare. I feel like Ao3 became a thing around the same time that fandom overall shifted to favoring cute fluffy conflict-free type stories, so at least subjectively it feels like ffnet had 1. Way more stories focused on something other than shipping (tho I think this is partly a function of the different tagging systems), and 2. Way more stories about just the most fucked up bullshit imaginable. To say nothing of back when fanfiction was exclusively hosted on peoples personal geocities website
(Rattles cane) Back In My Day, fluff was a minority genre! Angst with no happy ending was king!

4 word prompt: “I’m not wearing that.” for SuperQuake pleaseeeee!
“I’m not wearing that.”
“Aw why?” Kara exclaims as the Mickey Mouse ears almost fall off her head.
“Because it’s wholly unnecessary and a bit embarrassing, don’t you think?” Daisy says as she eyes the t-shirt with distaste.
“Oh please, it’s totally necessary!” Kara argues as she holds up the t-shirt. “You’ve never been to Disney before, you could get lost!”
“That’s something you give a child, Kara,” Daisy frowns. She really doesn’t like how the shirt says ‘Return to Kara Danvers if lost. “I am most definitely not a child.”
Kara is already sporting her ‘I am Kara Danvers’ t-shirt and looks indignant at her girlfriend. “Obviously not,” she deadpans as she holds the shirt up to Daisy. “But if you don’t wear it, I can’t be accountable for when we get separated.”
“Isn’t the whole point of us going to Disney, so you can show me everything?”
“You know how I get,” Kara huffs. “Things distract me. One minute I want a corn dog, the next thing you know I’m in line for a ride. You gotta keep up with me, Johnson.”
Daisy rolls her eyes as she chuckles. “I think you’ve got all of this backwards. You should’ve gotten a shirt that says ‘If lost return to Daisy Johnson’ because clearly you’re the one that’s going to get lost.”
Kara pouts before looking at the shirt in her hand. “Darn. You’re right.”

What is your process for writing? Notebook vs computer. Scheduled time or whenever? Planned or free form?
im the worst advice giver because i disappear for 3984029859032 months due to covid and life problems and come back lmao but i will answer this
I do everything on my computer. Specifically i use my google drive because I can kind of access it wherever i am if im at like the library or like on my tablet outside so i dont have to lug around my computer.
I try to do it when inspiration strikes, but lately it’s whenever i have free time which is rare because i also have to not be beaten with exhaustion so i can enjoy the actual writing process so... do it when you feel it’s right, don’t ever force yourself because you just spend time beating yourself over whether or not what you produce is good versus just enjoying the writing
i always am split between PLANNED and FREE FORM, sometimes you guys see me answer prompts and those i literally never plan i write it right the tumblr ask box ....so if i ever lose it...welp thats on me i shouldve been careful and post it but when i go back to rewrite it, it can be a different and unique story which is also fine. when i want to get some writing out of my system without commitment, i definitely do free form; it really helps me unblock so i can just write with ease. however when it comes to longer projects that i want to plan it’s because i have these things: a concept i obsess over, an exciting au setting, and one defining sentence that pulls it all together that way when i write i know how it plays in my head from beginning to end

hi can u do “Is that my shirt?” or “You look really tired” for sansaery pls
Sansa rubs her eyes and looks at the clock. It’s 3:14am. She curses at herself because she’s got an 8am with one of the strictest TAs in the world. Perhaps the entire universe. She really needs to sleep if she’s going to make it through the hour of recitation without falling dead asleep. Jon’s fallen asleep in class with her and she’s narrowly missed the marker being thrown at him. The marker would definitely hit her.
Ugh. She groans and pulls herself out of her chair. Half of her calculus homework isn’t even done yet. Her weakest subject that keeps her up at night, literally and figuratively. It’s not even due in the morning, but it takes her so long that getting a start on it early eases her anxiety.
She stumbles out of her room to a bright living room. Her eyes shrink into squints at the light of the suite dorm. She winces audibly.
“You look really tired.”
The voice is unmistakably her roommate’s and it’s annoying. How can anyone sound so awake at 3 in the morning?
“Why are you up so late?” Sansa groans as her eyes readjust to the light brighter than the desk lamp in her room.
Margaery stands in the kitchenette with a glass of juice looking awake and beautiful. How in the world? She’s wearing a pantsuit, black ankle trousers and a black blazer with a crisp baby blue button up. Her immaculate brown hair is half up with waves down her back.
“Mock trial practice,” Margaery sighs as she takes a big swig of her juice. “I didn’t think you’d be up this late.”
Sansa groans. “It’s because of calculus.”
“The big assignment?”
“Yeah.” Sansa moves to the fridge for something to drink. She wishes she could enjoy Margaery’s beautiful looks right now, but she’s too tired.
Margaery moves aside before saying, “Oh, I have the last of the juice. Sorry didn’t think you were going to be up,” she apologizes, knowing that Sansa likes to drink something before bed. “The milk was expired.”
Sansa frowns at the unfortunate turn of events. She opens up the fridge anyway, wondering what else there is. “It’s okay,” she absently says. “Water isn’t a bad idea either.”
Margaery touches Sansa’s shoulder to get her attention. “Here, take the rest. I can get some more after class tomorrow.” If Sansa wasn’t so tired, she’d refuse, feeling shy to share a drink with her roommate, but at this hour and the need to sleep trumps her shyness.
“Thank you,” Sansa says tiredly as she takes the glass from Margaery.
“If you need a tutor, I can ask Lancel if he has a slot open for his tutoring session,” Margaery offers. She tucks a stray hair behind Sansa’s ear. She strokes the rest of her hair tenderly.
Sansa doesn’t fight it. In fact, this time around she revels in it. Thankful that she decided to room with the senior because she takes care of her well. “I’d appreciate that.”
Margaery smiles at the younger girl. “I’ll let him know. I have to go. We have to run the trial one more time.” She strokes Sansa’s hair once more. “Get some rest. Don’t get hit by Joffrey’s markers tomorrow.”
Sansa nods, enjoying Margaery’s touch as she finishes the juice. Margaery gives her a small smile before leaving. It’s only when the door closes that Sansa leans back against the fridge, staring after Margaery, missing her already. “I’ll see you tomorrow. I love you.” She says to the empty dorm. Maybe tomorrow she’ll say it to Margaery.

Sentence starter prompts: “you smell nice” for reigncorp?
Sam is working hard all morning. She came in earlier just so that she could have some peace and quiet to sign off on documents and review budgets until her late afternoon meetings. She knows it’s going to be a long day.
What’s a nice pleasant break is when she hears a knock at her door vaguely through the soft music coming from her laptop.
“Got time for lunch?” Lena asks as she stands in her doorway with a takeout bag and her blazer folded over her arm.
Sam looks up with a smile. “It depends,” she bargains with a smirk on her face. “Are you going to join me?”
Lena steps into the office with a sashay of her hips. “Is that a direct order from the CEO?”
Sam sits back in her seat with a bite of her lips. “Not a chance. It’s completely up to you.”
Lena hums. “Shame,” she laments playfully. “I like taking orders.”
Sam blushes and shakes her head with an incredulous laugh. It’s silly to be embarrassed because she was the one that instigated it. She gets up from her desk and concedes to joining Lena for lunch.
Nothing beats filling sandwiches and conversations with Lena. Sam didn’t know how deprived of human contact until she rambles about how there’s a few dessert places that have opened up that she has yet to try. Her ever enthusiastic girlfriend obviously keeps it in mind and says they’ll go on days when Ruby has remote schooling. Sam thinks Lena is going to ruin Ruby’s studying habits, while Lena insists that she doesn’t need conventional schooling when they can easily send her to community college.
“Lena, she’s only 13.”
“I started university at 13.”
“But you’re a genius.”
“Ruby is just as smart.”
“Now you’re just lying to me to convince me to take her out in the middle of a school day.”
Lena just hums cheekily and kisses her cheek. Sam smiles before throwing her arm around Lena’s shoulder to pull her into a hug. They fall back onto the small couch with Lena in her arms and she feels content. She takes in Lena’s presence, considering she’s been away on a business trip.
With a tilt of her head, she smells Lena’s recognizable body wash and shampoo. Both rich, floral scents that make her feel like she’s on vacation in a remote countryside, sharing a space in a small house with expansive garden. Maybe somewhere in England.
“You smell nice,” Sam hums with a deep inhale. “I miss you.”
Lena picks up her head, kissing Sam’s jaw gently. “I miss you too.”
