this hc is awesome because it implies that a guy they see every 4 yrs is more observant than all of them combined

on the shipping wiki most of blaze and amy's interactions come from mario & sonic at the olympic games and i love this as an enthusiast of the "mario and sonic are best friends but also mario basically becomes an adoptive dad to the main sonic cast"

see my immediate thought is amy doesnt really know how to explore or express her feelings towards blaze and doesnt talk or try to think about it throughout the mainline sonic series. then in the olympic games dad mario™ notices something is up, slides on over, and pep talks amy while also talking about his experiences and relationship with princess peach (and also geno and vivian) and he hypes her up and helps her decide what she wants to do

and then eventually amy talks to blaze and asks her on a date. meanwhile mario is in the back in the bushes going "YEAHHH WAHOOO THATS MY EPIC GAY DAUGHTER GO AMY WOOOOOOOO LETSA GOOOOOO"

How about just a general body thing? I always seem to struggle with sonic legs connecting to waists for some reason

hi! umm.. well i often draw the chest first, after i drew the head of course, then i draw a line that starts from the chest and/or back for the legs, then i draw a separation as the crotch, sometimes i also draw that first before the legs but anyways..

this also can help, like if Sonic was a manikin… so the pelvis(on green) would look like he’s wearing some sort of underpants.. that way is more easy to connect the waist with chest and legs with his hip
