To think that 20 years ago we were having seders with whoever was willing to show up. Finding the youngest freshman to read the four questions, giving up and chanting them as a group saying god will understand.
Due to a protest at my college, Hillel had to move tonight’s Seder to a secret location and have barred last-minute registrations.
I signed up in time to go, but I’m disappointed that some people who want to go may not be able to. I really wish this was an event that could be more open to students who may have been on the fence about going.
The fact that Hillel has to hide the location of a Passover Seder is horrifying to me.

Friend, the ashki rabbinate decreed that tzinius is ok. You can have corn and rice and beans, but no leavening. They said it's a matter of solidarity between the different traditions and that Jews should be brought together during the holiday and focus on the important things: abstaining from gluten and not causing anaphylaxis in the cousin with a nut allergy.

The asthma I have from growing up within 50 miles of 9 coal powered power plants, within 5 miles of the largest garbage dump on the east coast and always within 10 miles of a city of over 500,000, but it's my inhaler that I only use once a month that's the problem. suuuuuure.
So many people wouldn’t have asthma in the first place if it wasn’t for these corporations…Shifting blame from actual culprits to people with asthma (and people who can’t help but use plastic straws at that) is peak capitalism.

Factory One Apartments
This is where Partihaus normally lives, turned into 5 apartments. There are 4 one bed/bath units and one two bed/1 bath unit. I tried to make the exposed brick work for all of them, but I could get it to look good in the candy apartment. They're all done up in a modern style with slightly different flavors.

WIP 3 SFX Lipsticks
Inspired by all the people playing with lip shapes on tiktok, I needed to play with this on my simmies! We've got a creamy looking formula with lining to make your sims lips look bigger, more defined, or arched. I grabbed Clinique's Long Wear lipstick palette of 35 colors to flatter most sims. I've also made it so you can adjust the color more to your liking.

Del Sol Valley 50x40 lot
6 bungalows based on the shells in the neighborhood as a rental lot. The southwestern houses have 1 bedroom, an office, and 1 bath. The craftsmen have 2 bedrooms, 1 bathroom, and a fireplace. I literally c/p the buildings around gave them some different gardens and activities around them and called it a rental.

I spend so much time looking up black makeup tutorials on youtube that when I search for makeup tutorials for different looks trying to get inspiration for my sims, that it shows me black creators first. I love that for them, but I'm not black so it amuses me. There's just different considerations for people with different skin tones that I wouldn't know about given my pale skin. Also, if you are pale like me and they show a skin product that comes in a color that works for them and their range goes light enough for you, consider buying that brand to encourage them to keep being inclusive.
I have a pale olive skin tone, and I don't think I've ever found a close match to my skin for foundation, powder, or concealer. The undertones are nearly always too pink or too orange for me and when I can find a kind of yellow neutral, it's always too dark. My theory is that the color values of humans exist on a bell curve and cosmetics companies aim for the middle 50-75% of humans. That does cover a lot of the population, but it also leaves those of us on the edges out. Chances are that unless a company is specifically for dark skinned people, if they carry a rich dark chocolate color they probably also have the beige cream color I need.
Anyway I appreciate all the women of different races, colors, and nationalities that do beauty tutorials. Keep inspiring people and doing what you do best. Thank you for educating me.

Adding on, wool is good. Sheep need their wool to be sheared and it's irresponsible shepherding to not shear them. (excluding the primitive breeds that still go through a molt)
wool is warm, insulating, and wicking
wool is even warm when wet and will not actually feel wet until it is 75% saturated with water
wool is fire resistant
wool needs to be washed way less frequently than other fibers
wool is a renewable resource (the sheep will make more of it every year)
wool is a sustainable fiber (wool will eventually decay and rejoin the earth if not cared for)
sheep are actually good for the land. (with good shepherding practices) they keep grass trimmed, aerate fields, and fertilize them as they go. They also eat things like poison ivy and nettles. flocks of mixed sheep and goats are hired out to clear land and keep odd areas mowed like highway embankments.
Contrast this with the polyester fleece so many companies sells us.
Polyester or microfiber fleece are made from plastic.

The Ward Den Pt 2
We start in the Silver and Gold guest suites, both have direct access from the rooms to the pool deck and have amazing views of the Del Sol Hills. From there we go up the stairs to Judith's man friend's apartments. We enter into a sitting room with office nook, entertainment center and a small dining table. Off to the right is the home gym which features the climbing wall, treadmill, and weigh machine. Judith stores her barbells in here for her weighted cardio time. The sitting room also connects to a bathroom and the bedroom. The bathroom connects to the closet from which you can enter the bedroom. The bathroom features a large, walk-in shower with tile surround. I'm particularly proud of the closet with the array of shoes, hats, and accessories displayed. I picture this guy as being a total sweetheart himbo like Paolo Rocca.
The balcony runs the length of the inner hallway and has a chess table, telescope, yoga mats, and meditation stools so that Judith can center herself and get in touch with her inner core. Back inside, the family room/play room is where the adults can be with Judith's daughter as she plays in a cozy environment.
I picture Judith as being a "one and done." She always wants attention and she saw the way that other female celebs get headlines when they are pregnant or out doing things with their kids and wanted it for herself, so she got knocked up and discovered how very much she hates being pregnant and little kids. She's just mean, not evil, so she tries to make sure that Baby Girl has everything she needs and access to more nurturing adults while counting down the days until she can bankroll college and whatever business the child gets into.
Baby Girl's room is for sleeping, studying, reading, and dressing. Judith is clear that play happens in the play room or outside and not in her room so that bedtime is quicker and easier. She also has an en suite bathroom with a claw foot tub.
Judith's apartment opens into her private sitting room, which also features a dining table and some comfy chairs for reading, handwork, or tete a tetes. Her office is her favorite room in the house and where she feels most herself and most in control. She used to have meetings in here but recently redid it to be more suited for virtual work. Her bathroom features a slipper tub, walk-in shower, and large vessel sink. Her closet has plenty of display space and storage as well as her personal vanity. Her boudoir is the most private of her rooms and the only people that enter it are the maid, her man, and herself.
