A certain vampire? Care to elaborate?
I'm at a crossroads in my life...
Indeed it is, but thats not the point I am trying to make. You don’t care usually, but you do care what a certain vampire thinks.

Thanks.

You know I said that mainly to take the piss out of both you and her right? And she probably would.
Yeah, I really agree. But you’re really good at it, just saying.
Tumblr media
Really? I don’t know, maybe she wouldn’t.

I don't listen to Taylor Swift, so, no. Lucky ass? I haven't heard that one before.
Tumblr media
Yeah, maybe. Wait it’s not in your head, lucky ass.

There's probably someone in the world who has the same problem.

Is Taylor Swift 22 stuck only in my head?

I'm sure Keller'd love to be your dance partner.
Would anyone join me as a dance partner if I took dance classes?

Well you are beautiful, and honesty is the best policy. Certain people? Since when do I care what people think?
Tumblr media
I'm at a crossroads in my life...
Why do you keep doing that, calling me beautiful or sexy? Certain people may get the wrong idea.

"It's fine, I think everyone from Worthington is in the same boat," he smiled stepping over one. "Hey I'll be back in a sec," he called as she was in the bathroom. Jogging down the hall he went into dorm 3 and changed into the pair of track pants that acted as his pyjamas and no shirt. Grabbing his copy of Footloose on the way out he hoped he didn't bother Ashley with his rush. On his way back into the room he passed the second bedrooms closed door, a smoky scent drifted up from under the door. Before he got the chance to tell Arielle about it she came out, he looked he up and down, his eyes observant as ever, he looked over he long legs and thought of her slim waist hidden under the baggy shirt, "you never fail to stun me," me said in a low voice, not even realising he had said it. "How about this?" He said holding up Footloose, using one finger to beckon her to the couch he moved over slightly to let her sit next to him. "I thought you may want to know, your roommates been smoking weed, or at very least rolling some kind of herbal drugs."

She bit her lip and blushed. She didn’t mean for it to sound like she wanted to have sex with him. Probably just a cuddle session with the dogs. She jumped into the passenger’s seat as Charlie jumped in her lap. A small giggle flowed out of her parted lips as she shrugged. “I have a secret stash,” she winked, before rolling down her window and watching Ace speed off.
When Ace opened the car door for her, she quickly got out, letting Charlie get out first. She waited until her friend called his dog as she took his hand and led him towards the co-ed dorms. The small label on the door read,’Room 8.’. Her heart fluttered as she fumbled with her keys, trying to quickly open the door; not wanting to keep Ace waiting. She opened the door slightly as she let Charlie’s leash off. “Sorry about the boxes.. I haven’t had much time to unpack.” She blushed as she quickly went to go to the bathroom to change into her pajamas. After changing and brushing her teeth, she managed to pull on a Big T-Shirt and some shorts. She smiled as she got some blankets and a pack of marshmallows, going back to join Ace. “Pick a movie!” She giggled, curling up in the blanket.

Ace couldn't help but feel a little upset at the fact that Arielle had to leave. He had loved spending the day together in a purely happy way, one that didn't start with them having fought or her starving herself. "A little forward aren't we?" He mocked clearly jokingly, he doubted the vampire was inviting him to jump into bed with her, though he honestly wouldn't have minded. "I'd love to," he said as he got up, Arielle's pulling not having much affect, patting his side causing Burza to run to his side. Leading her out the door he unlocked the car and let the dogs in, "want to pick up some marshmallows on the way back?"
After a short drive they had made their way back to the school. Parking the car and hoping out he opened the door for Arielle before she could, "my lady, if you would be so kind as to lead the way."

She blushed as he kissed her hand. Gently pulling it out of his grasp. She laughed when he called her beautiful. “It might be time for me to go home.” Arielle smiled sadly as she called Charlie over, putting his leash on. She turned around ready to head out, before she turned back to Ace. “Do you..” She paused, breathing in slightly as she furrowed her eyebrows. “Do you want to spend the night?” Her nose scrunched up in curiosity. It was an odd thing to ask but she had sleepovers with boys all the time. Maybe Ace wasn’t used to it, but she liked it. Hopefully that was obvious. She picked up his hand and smiled. “Please?” She pulled a puppy dog face as she attempted to pull him towards the door.

"I'll find out eventually," he paused, before adding with a wink, "I have my ways." Ace looked up at her as if she were mad, "you are one of the most graceful people I have met. To me a person who is graceful has a certain charm about them, and you've certainly charmed me." A little heat flushed Ace's cheeks as the bar applauded him, yes he had always received encouragement from Bruce, but rarely anyone else. He enjoyed playing piano, though rarely showed people his talent, it was something he generally kept to himself, self preservation he justified in his own head. Smirking up at Arielle he took one of her clapping hands and placed a light kiss upon it, "so, what now beautiful?"

She immediately shook her head. “As long as I have anything to do with it, you will never know!” She smiled playfully as she leaned over the piano, watching him play. His fingers were moving over the keys extremely fast, yet they played magically. Arielle was impressed, she had never seen anything so fast yet, beautiful in her life. A short laugh interrupted her thoughts. “I’m the opposite definition of graceful.” Her fingers drew circles on top of the piano as she continued listening to Ace play. She looked over as someone began clapping, that someone turned out to be Bruce. Smiling over at him, she stood up straighter and joined in on the clapping. Within a few seconds, the whole bar was clapping at Ace’s performance.

"You had to add in the sort of didn't you?" He smiled, "I suppose it is, though I wouldn't ever change, it gave me a different outlook to most people." Ace laughed along with her, remembering that she had never actually told him a definite age, "a hint to how old you are, perfect. Will you tell me how old you actually are?" He asked cocking an eyebrow. Feeding the small dog a few chips he smiled up at her, noticing her half-smile he added, "he would have done the same for you, I had just waited till he was calmer." He continued to play, finally reaching his favorite part, it was the part where it started to speed up, it had always reminded him of Peter Pan. "You are graceful," he mumbled as he continued to play reaching the difficult part, he couldn't play the whole section of the piece because of the amount of keys he would need to hit, but he hit most and the ones he missed were hardly noticeable due to their small contribution to the song. Smiling up at her he finished the last bar perfectly.

“Oh! Soccer!” She laughed, feeling stupid for not understanding. “Well, then I guess I could see you being a soccer player.” She rested her chin on the palms of her hands as she listened to him. Her eyes never left his as she continued patiently listened to him. “That doesn’t make you a bad person. You’re different now, sorta.” She chuckled softly as she thought of Ace’s ‘bad ass’ persona that usually came out when he wasn’t talking to girls. “It’s not your fault, the past is the past.” She simply stated, thinking about her own past. A genuine laugh filled the room. She closed her eyes and covered her mouth, trying to quiet herself down. “My god! I’m older than this pub!” Her laughter lessened to giggling as she watched Ace deal with her dog. It mad her feel like a bad owner with no control. “Thanks,” she mumbled with a half-smile. As her friend got up to play on the piano, she watched him. She loved how he felt so comfortable around her, like how she felt around him. Leaning against the piano, she watched him play. She shook her head, answering his question. “I don’t, I’m not all that graceful, remember?” She shrugged, shaking her head and laughing softly.

"Right, I will never get this right," he chuckled, "I meant soccer, in England it's called football." He looked up at her, he really loved those deep dark eyes, "no, I really was. I was a perpetually pissed off eight year old, had a bit of a tendency to punch before I thought and figured out how to swear from a very young age." Ace looked around the pub briefly before answering, "I don't know exactly, but the oldest photo I found was of some 1920's flappers in a box out back, so I'm guessing around then," he replied with a shrug. Laughing at the antics of the small dog, Ace made a kissing noise to the dog and patted the space next to him, the small dog complying with his non-verbal command. Spotting the small upright piano in one corner he got up and sat down at it. His fingers lightly resting atop the ivory keys he began playing the opening few bars of the piano duet from Corpse Bride. Turning to Arielle he asked, "do you play?"

“Football?” She followed his half smile, with a big, genuine smile. “I would’ve never pegged you as a football player.” She chuckled a bit before getting serious. Her hand slid across the table, grasping his. “Hey,” she whispered soothingly. “You were never that orphanage kid. Never.” She shook her head, before pulling her hand back and drinking her water. Looking around again, she narrowed her eyes at him in a happy way. “How old is this place?” She laughed as Charlie bounced on the table. “Charlie! You have to get down.” She patted her lap, signalling for Charlie to jump down, but he never did.
