I’m very normal in the sense that I consistently wonder if Spock (TOS) is consciously resisting saying “vulcan-oid” instead of “human-oid” out of fear that Mc-Coy would make fun of him. I wonder if he thinks about that too. I imagine Spock’s nightmares are just something along the lines of:
