generally, i just think a lot more should go into the thought process of someone having a disorder. QSMP in general is much more laidback and imo the lore is mostly made-up on the spot (aside from pre-planned events for obvious reasons), especially when it comes to character relations and stuff like that. off-handed comments shouldn't be taken for face-value "lore", and people are going to base their assumptions on a disorder on how people portray them.

here's the comment that the QSMP wiki says that roier "canonically" has DID:

i have no issue with people headcanoning a character has DID in fanfiction or whatever, but for the most part, these are real people who are roleplaying and it's an active roleplay. people think that roier contradicting himself is a sign he has DID/alters that hold different values to him, and while that could be true, contradicting yourself isn't necessarily a DID thing. people contradict themselves all the time; it's how people who recently held distasteful beliefs become better people. you contradict to grow. and also, people who badmouth you can suddenly be nice when they actually talk to you. QSMP characters are still, to an extent, a reflection of the people playing them, so obviously their beef and banter isn't real, so you shouldn't be surprised when the characters are buddying up despite being enemies, because they're still friends outside of the roleplay. i doubt that, while they're entertaining the stream, they could keep in mind all the small details and nuances of their character.

and it must be said: DID isn't a disorder in which people speak in your head. some people don't have that level of communication with their alters. as for roier and melissa (and now doied??), doied is canonically roier's twin brother, and melissa appears to be just the drag persona of roier, even if melissa denies it, and besides, melissa was initially created to fool quackity into feeding him information about something (i forgor).

guys, straight-up, i really don't know how to feel about people claiming roier has DID and making posts based around it when a lot more goes into DID than just "personality" switches and hearing voices in your head. i know that wikis for fandoms are shitholes, but this isn't it.

If you own a server for a particular source/media (like Identity V, Dead by Daylight, Roblox, Dream SMP) and something IN THAT SOURCE has to be put in the blacklist, ESPECIALLY ONE OF ITS MAIN CHARACTERS, I don't think you should be in charge of making the server's blacklist.

Why the fuck would you want to limit discussion around WHAT YOUR SERVER IS ABOUT by blacklisting a character from it? Holy shit.

This especially goes for DID/OSDD servers in my opinion. I only really think it's valid if it's based off of real-life horrible people (ie actual killers and stuff like that), but if it's a fictional source it's just ridiculous. It makes people who are ACTUALLY FROM THAT SOURCE feel alienated and isolated.

Death Note AU where hbomberguy makes a five hour long video about youtuber Light Yagami that's initially completely unrelated to the murders (Light would probably plagiarize or have really unhinged right-wing political takes if he was on youtube)

but halfway through he reveals that while researching he stumbled upon evidence that Light might be behind the Kira murders, and then spends like fourty minutes explaining the concept of a shinigami, an hour explaining how he thinks Light used one to commit murders, and then another hour explaining Light's ideology and why the concept of criminals being inherently evil is flawed

He finishes the video by addressing Light directly and telling him that he (Hbomberguy) had his name legally changed before uploading the video, to something that only he knows, making it impossible for Light to kill him
