Just some fungi in the sunset.
Getting to know The Mountain Trail Team
As amature Mycologist we have a passion, maybe, an obsession with fungi! We recently began building a small mushroom farm in the rural Ozarks and because we love what we do so much, we wanted to share it with everyone. We are all about the study of these fascinating fungi creatures and of course the cultivation of decadent, delicious edible mushrooms.
We also enjoy spending as much time as we can roaming the woods hunting fungi in their natural habitats and exploring the wilderness in search of unique new species or just trying to catch a photo or two of some of our favorites.
With our combined expertise in mushroom studies, photography and other creative arts we have come together to create a unique experience for just about anyone. You can expect to find rants and raves about frustrating mushrooms that just don't want grow, photos and experience to help those trying to cultivate their own, some of our chefs favorite mushroom recipes and so much more. We hope that you will take this journey with us as we explore The Third Kingdom!
You can also check out the blog on our website here.
