Hey y’all, I am alive. I realize I haven’t been around for like uhhhhh a really long time. I probably still won’t be around much tbh. But I’ve been pretty busy while I’ve been not on tumblr.
So here’s a whole bunch of cosplays that I’ve made that I don’t believe have been shared on here. In order we have Delilah Briarwood, Wintery Jester, an Edwardian Walking Gown, Delilah’s undergarments, Yasha, Yasha but sexy and Ewok Village Leia.
The pirate Fjord is a commission for my friend Derek (makeup also by me) and the Scanlan was another commission for someone else. All photos except for the scanlan cosplay and the shot of my Breha were by Hela Fine Photography. Breha was by Mike Brown.

As soon as my sewing machine is returned to me from the month+ it’s spent at the repair shop, I’ll be working on a revamp of Keyleth and continue my work on Mollymauk.

Remind Me So I Can Forget is one of my favorite fics I've ever read. I couldn't stop thinking about it for a few days after I read it. You depicted Sylas and Delilah's relationship EXACTLY how I imagined. It's such a wonderful interpretation of their characters as well, especially Sylas. I looooved the way you described his vampire physiology. Sorry if this is kinda fangirly, I really loved your fic :D
Oh wow! That’s really nice to hear. Thank you! I’m glad you enjoyed it. It was a lot of fun to write. There are not enough Sylas/Delilah fics that aren’t like really dark and gruesome and I wanted something that was kinda sweet.

When my mother gets into facebook fights with her childhood friends who grew up to be racists, she passive-aggressively fucks with them by making a donation to a local refugee assistance organization in the name of their immigrant grandmothers, a donation large enough that they get a card from the organization saying so. She passive aggressively fucks with the same demographic of friends who #bluelivesmatter by commenting with details about the various petty crimes they committed together as teens, e.g. “Wow Joey, where was all the respect for blue lives when we hotboxed your uncle’s patrol car?”
And obviously both these approaches are specific to former juvenile delinquent turned UMC babyboomer but it feel still inspirational in that we can all find our own chaotic good pettiness niche.

The bees and wasps now recognise me as the person who gives them water. Which sounds cool but it means everytime I go outside they harass me until I fill up the waterer. On the bright side, I no longer have to fear wasps as they just buzz around me non-threateningly now.

Tonight at Walmart I saw a little boy ask a little girl if he could hug her because he liked her sweater. The girl (these kids looked to be about 5, MAYBE 6) said no, so the boy said “okay. I like your sweater. Bye.” And then ran back to his parents.
He said to his Dad “I didn’t hug her because she said no, but I told her I liked her sweater!” And his dad said “Cool buddy!” And they went on with their shopping trip.
If a small child understands the ‘complex’ concept of consent, and the meaning of the word ‘no’, then so should everyone else.

I don’t want to be rich, I just want to be comfy.
Want to have one really nice set of plates and silverware for company and Thanksgiving.
Want to be able to buy a new outfit and a good bra at least a couple times a year.
Want to be able to give “just because” gifts.
Want to burn incense and candles in my home daily, and have nice soaps.
Want to be able to donate to charity frequently and without worry.
Want to buy hardcover books to read and put on a shelf for my kids to read someday.
Want to have candies in bowls for people who visit.
Want to be able to take my young siblings and cousins to a movie and let them get the big popcorn they won’t finish, because there’s magic in just having it.
Want to have a linen closet or at least a linen shelf.
Want to go see live local theater several times a year.
Want to have a bottle of wine or champagne in the house for when I suddenly need to celebrate.
Want to have a kitchen with basic baking supplies so I can bake bread on the weekend, and pies for special occasions.
I just want to be comfy.
