I feel like furudate made hanamaki jobless because of the sheer versatility of his character... like hanamaki could very well be a hole-in-the-wall waiter, a barista, a door-to-door knife salesman, a daycare teacher, the copy boy in the office……………. srsly…. the possibilities are endless for him, and furudate, in a (probable) fit of frustration, gave up trying to decide, threw their hands up into the air, and then decided to make him an unemployed bum
