stanford era is like crack 2 me. there are just so many possibilities. sometimes i like to think sam and dean had absolutely zero contact while sam was away. no phone calls, no letters. sometimes i like to think they had one single (probably drunken) interaction and it ruined everything even further. sometimes i like to think they used bobby as an intermediary and he got so fed up with their drama he threatened to get john involved. sometimes i like to think dean would show up on campus all the time and spy on sam from afar. they’re all delicious, you literally can’t have a bad stanford take.
