random connor evan and jared headcanons
connor:
although he wears dark hoodies and jackets all the time, he absolutely loves bright coloured open sweaters (aka ‘brooke lohst’ sweaters)
also wears a lot of yellow after his depression gets a lil better
art major in college
because this boy can draw
slut for dodie
his favourite disney movie is the princess and the frog
when he came out larry didn’t like it so he bought a million rainbow flags and hung them up around the house
once spray painted a dick on the wall in the basement when he was 14
it’s still there
(no one but himself and evan knows it’s there)
growing out his hair in the future? nah m8.

he has about a million random docs in google docs that each have like 1 sentence in them
legit one of them says ‘he has some sort of diarrhea’ and he has no clue where that came from
he began growing his hair out because zoe said he’d be too pussy to do it
and then things between them went downhill but connor realised he actually likes long hair and just began growing it out bc why tf not
is demisexual but doesn’t really feel like it matters so he doesn’t tell anyone
unless he’s in a relationship with them
he fucking loves tea (both the hot drink and twitter kind)

took piano lessons from ages 5-14 and absolutely loved it
he dropped it when he went into high school because he thought it became too nerdy and lame
he still has mad skills and will begin playing whenever he gets his hands on a piano
that’s how he woos the dudes
his favourite movie is the princess bride
not that he’d ever admit it
he’s the shortest one out of everyone by 2 inches standing at only 5’4” (alana’s second shortest at 5’6”)
he’s bitter about it and will wear heels to formal events when all five of them go so he’s taller than alana
it began as a joke then he realised he actually rocks heels
the only time he doesn’t wear heels to formal events is when alana doesn’t go which is like 2/10 times so at least he has a good excuse to looking fabulous
but when he’s alone he’s either butt naked (that’s usually during the summer) or in sweatpants and his dads old college shirt that hasn’t been washed in god’s know how long
he’s biologically jewish but religion-wise
agnostic
he’s not quite sure where he stands

I Just Want To Be Happy Part 1dehdd
Jared Kleinman was in pain. Not only emotionally, but physically.
He’d seen Evan and Zoe together, happy as could be. Even though his true family wasn’t whole, Evan was truly connected with his mom again.
Connor was getting better and his family was mending slowly. Connor and his dad were getting along again, him and his mom were connecting, and Zoe was learning to get along with the boy. Not only that, but Zoe was happy because she was with Evan. Everyone seemed happy. Even Alana was happy like always.
Everyone but Jared.
Jared was unhappy. He saw Evan and Zoe together and his heart hurt. Connor knew of this and tried his best to help, but it didn’t do much. No simple words of, “It’ll be alright” were going to fix his breaking heart.
Right now he was in the bathroom at school. He’d made it to a stall and was now throwing up. His throat and lungs felt like they were on fire. He coughed and gasped for breath as he stood there. When he opened his blue eyes, they widened in fear.
“N-no…God please, no…!” He muttered to himself, backing away and falling onto his butt. Floating in the water were blue flower petals, mixed in with his own blood. This meant it had gotten worse. He put a hand to his mouth and felt some of his own blood dripping down his face. He wiped it away as tears began to pour from eyes.
Before it had just been the flower petals and the burning, but now? Blood was mixed in. He was dying.
“Jared?” Came the slightly worried voice of Connor Murphy. “Jared, I saw you run in here and-” He spotted the boy on the floor and grew worried. He raced to his side to try and calm him down. “Jared? Jared, what’s wrong??”
“N-no…No…” Was all the boy could say as he stared at the stall in front of him. Connor looked at it and stood up, looking in the toilet bowl. If it was at all possible, Connor went even paler than before.
“Holy shit…” He said quietly. ‘It’s gotten worse…’ He thought. Then looked back at Jared. He went and sat on his knees pulling him close. Neither Connor nor Jared were really people for hugging, but Jared needed it and Connor knew he did. He pulled Jared close in his embrace and the other boy hugged back tightly, sobbing into his chest. “Shh…It’s OK, Jared. You’re going to be OK…”
Connor knew that what he’d just said was a lie if one of two things didn’t happen. Either the one sided love would need to be two sided, or Jared had to get a surgery and have the possibility of losing his feelings.
“C-connor…?” Jared asked through tears and shaky breaths.
“Yeah? Yeah, what is it?” The boy asked, looking down at Jared.
“I-It hurts. It h-hurts so much…!” Jared said through tears.
“I know…I know it does…” Connor said gently, holding him close.

“Jared, this is serious!” Alana exclaimed.
“Al, please keep it down…I don’t want my mom hearing…” Jared said, avoiding eye contact. He was sitting in his room, Alana on the right side of him and Connor on the left.
“Ana is right, Jared. This is really, really bad.” Connor said.
“I get that, OK? But I don’t have a lot of options. Evan is happy with Zoe. And Zoe is happy with Evan! I can’t take that from her.” Jared said as tears formed in his eyes, standing up.
“Jared…There’s always the sur-” Alana began when Connor interrupted.
“No! No fucking way is he going through that surgery!” He argued angrily.
“Connor! It’s the only other way.” Alana said.
“No!” Connor said as he and Alana began arguing.
Jared covered his ears before spinning around. “Shut the fuck up, please!” He exclaimed, causing both the other teens to shut their mouths instantly. “Last time I checked, neither of you are my mother. I feel like shit. Evan barely notices me anymore. I feel like I’m dying. I’d rather take the surgery!”
“Jared, no!” Connor exclaimed, standing up in a fury. “If you take that surgery, you have the chance of losing all feeling!”
“I want the feelings to be gone Connor! I don’t want to suffer anymore!” He exclaimed.
Connor stood up straight and stiff, shaking his head. “Suffering is better than having no feelings at all. At least when you suffer, you still know you’re human.” He said bitterly. He left Jared’s room, slamming the door shut.
“Jared? Are you sure you want to do this? You don’t have to…” Alana was beginning to say when Jared interrupted.
“I’m sure. I want to do this…” Jared said. He’d made up his mind. He was done with the pain. He’d take the surgery.
‘I just want to be happy.’ He thought. ‘But I guess that’s not an option anymore…’
He was ready to do whatever it took to take away the pain. Even if it cost him his feelings.
