I really want to complain about work and how people keep trying to take advantage of me and disrespect me, but no one cares. Can’t post it on facebook because then you’re just one of those people, but like wtf.
It’s really good I got my lithium prescription back, because these motherfuckers would be needing a new employee. I can tell how much easier it is for me to stay positive and not let little things ruin my mood, but last night and today just sucked.
I almost miss how it was before I started learning how to deal with manic depression, because then I could use it as an excuse, ya know? But now that I’ve learned to cope better (with absolutely no help - no friends, girlfriend, anything) I feel like if I give in to the horseshit and just get mad everyone will just treat me like I’m being an asshole for no reason.
And if I told my coworkers about my illness, they’d just talk more shit about me and be ruder.
At least I can post it on tumblr.

I feel like such a weiner because marching band was FOUR whole years ago now and I miss it a lot. I have to work in the morning but I can’t sleep because suddenly all the feels from band hit me and it’s keeping up in this pensive and emotional state. They weren’t kidding when they said you’d make lifelong friends. I just wish I kept up with them along all my travels.

Rereading the Inheritance cycle after maybe a decade since my first read. I only finished the first two because Brisingr wasn’t released yet back then, but it’s really gripping and I haven’t put it down! Even after reading a bunch of spoilers, I’m really excited to get into the next two books.
side note: I forgot how bad Murtagh gets the shaft; even in the first book he was kind of being overruled by Eragon and now that I’m older it makes his character more appealing and relatable.

I juster remembered: I had the weirdest dream where I was at some backyard party or something and I didn’t know why I was there; all of a sudden Suzy ( @flapflaps )and Barry from Game Grumps were there and they were super cool.
Considering i’ve never met them in real life I feel odd, because it was a good hang inside my subconscious. Props to you two for manifesting in my imagination, 10/10

Something that slips through my fingers plagues the present day.
But what is it? What is this specter that haunts me so?
To go from bliss to decadence in such a small frame,
it seems quite odd... And the diagnosis is no less troublesome.
And this breeds the question:
Do we look to the past, or the present for the cause?
Are our younger brains to blame, or
did we unlearn something along the way?
If life isn’t about the destination,

They say it’s a cycle
But the truth is it’s three dimensional,
A spiral.
All addiction is dangerous,
And the thought of yesterday is so intoxicating,
So spellbinding, that we ruin today,
Only to miss it tomorrow.
These new yesterdays are like polaroids
-They begin so grey and discolored,
and morph into a vivid and colorful picture.
But that’s the thing, ain’t it?
Pictures are only a representation of reality.
And they are often skewed and easily modified.
I always hated taking pictures as a kid.
I wish I had been in more
So that I had a tangible thing to assess,
Instead of an abstract idea to romanticize.
So let me float on in the haze of dreams
Just pray that I never wake.
Because it already feels too late
To abandon the spiral of fate.
