Lucy: I know you’re deflecting by making jokes about how hot you are—
Lockwood, crying: It’s not a joke! I’m a legit snack

My completely unnecessary Lockwood and Co fashion AU.
Having only recently arrived in London, fashion writer Lucy Carlyle is quickly hired by Fittes Magazine, the largest fashion publication in Western Europe. From a working class background, seeing the glamour and intensity of the fashion world is overwhelming for Lucy until she meets a certain rising star.
Anthony Lockwood is the son of retired director Donald Lockwood and his wife, designer Celia Lockwood. A fresh face on the catwalk, Anthony has a good head on his shoulders, and a great smile on said face. Charismatic and kind, Anthony and his older sister Jessica are quickly becoming a double threat in the entertainment industry. Rumors circulate that his relationship with journalist Lucy Carlyle might be more than platonic, although both parties have refused to comment.
Jessica Lockwood originally started off in modeling just like her brother, but has made a successful film debut, having been nominated for an Oscar at the age of 28. Jessica is an proponent for diversity in film and fashion, and is set to star in Director Flo Bones’ new horror-drama movie, “Ghost Story.”
A pioneer in her industry, Holly Munro is the first black woman to lead a major luxury fashion house “Quill&Munro” alongside designer Quill Kipps. Both founders are advocates for the LGBTQ+ community; although Kipps’ private life is not well known, Holly has recently announced her engagement to fashion editor Kat Godwin.
Quill Kipps is notoriously private, with most of his social media posts revolving around his work or business partner Holly Munro. However, his growing friendship with Anthony and Jessica Lockwood have given netizens a glimpse into his life behind the scenes. Nevertheless, his personal life remains a mystery to fans - although there’s much to see regarding the designer’s excellent work in fashion.
Florence Bonnard, or Flo Bones, is one of the youngest directors to premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. Flo is a master of the horror and mystery genres, although her talent for dry wit can be clearly read in her interviews and blog. A close personal friend of both founders of Quill&Munro, Flo’s film “Ghost Story” has won two awards for costume design.
Little is known about photographer George Cubbins, but his work can be seen on almost every advertisement or magazine across Europe. Formerly freelance, now full-time employed by Lucy Carlyle for Fittes Magazine, George also dabbles with food photography on the side. Although not often in front of a camera, he has recently been seen on the arm of Director Flo Bones at the international premiere of “Ghost Story.”

Lucy: Should I run over these idiots playing in the street?
Kipps, lifting up his sunglasses to see Lockwood, George, and Holly: Yes
Lucy: I can’t see who they are. Do you know them?
Kipps, lowering his sunglasses: No

Lucy: Yup, here are the whites. I put the other part in the sink
George: Those aren’t the whites! Those are the shells!
Lucy: And what color are they, Mr. Know-it-all?

Stop trying to conform Lucy to your beauty standards. She isn’t skinny or slim-thick. She isn’t conventionally pretty. It’s so unnecessary
