This is the last drawing I want to share for now. So take some Nightshade (and Mewo, she's the real star~)
I like to think that the scars on Stranger's body are all from Omori's previous attempts to kill Basil in Blackspace when he was trying to repress the truth for Sunny.
When a new version of Basil die, Stranger gets back his memories and his scars because he's the first Basil that has been ever created in Headspace.
Now that Sunny has told the truth to everyone, Omori doesn't really does anything besides laying down and stare at the infinite white ceiling. Sunny doesn't visit Omori or Headspace as often as he usually did. So Stranger is here to disrupt his routine and annoy Omori a little. Omori is a bit upset about him being free, but he has nothing to hold against him anymore, not like before at least.
The only reason why Stranger wears socks is to avoid him getting the floor stained because of his footprints. Omori thinks he's kind enough to let him wander in Whitespace, or even in Headspace, but for that he must keep this place clean.

A colored sketch of a version of Basil based on a dream I've had... It was quite disturbing but I liked it !
I tried to explain it but I'm not the best with words... At least, I'm hoping it's understandable!

It happened after Basil killed himself, in the neutral ending. Sunny came a bit too late to help him. Trying to handle the stress, Omori has to take control over him and send him to Headspace.
Unfortunately, Mari's death was still a problem unresolved and it was too hard for Omori to handle what was happening in the broken mind of his Dreamer (Sunny). The death of Basil was an addition to the trauma Sunny already had. He couldn't manage to get over Mari's death, not after he witnessed Basil sharing the same fate.
Omori tried his best to remodel Headspace as fast as he could to let Sunny dive in it and let him forget his problems, but it was too fast to be well made. Some parts of the Black Space were in the main area, nothing was fitting correctly with each other, it was a real mess.
Omori, hand in hand with his Sunny, tried his best to avoid anything that could affect him more than he already was. His Dreamer was been nervous enough.
However, Omori was dealing with an issue. A version of Basil was staring at them, both of them, with his empty red eyes. No matter where the way they decided to go, he was always there, never too far from them.
When they've come near this Basil, the discussion wasn't pleasant at all. Even if Basil smiled, it was a sad smile, with his voice broken, like he was dying forever. And the discussion always lead to his suicide at the end.
The worst thing was, Omori couldn't erase him. Because "Basil" was very important to Sunny. Basil was the last thing the Dreamer wanted to forget especially after what he saw, he just couldn't.
Omori has tried to reset headspace all over again, but it didn't work well, it was even worse each time. And each time, Basil was more straigtforward about the new trauma of his death to Sunny.
Omori couldn't do anything anymore. The mind of his dreamer was completely broken. The Dreamer was even being visible by the people of Headspace and it scared them. Because the Dreamer, Sunny, was considered as a murderer in his own mind. People, his people, were blaming him about what he did in the past. The only people that stayed next to him were Basil and Omori.
Basil started to ask him why he has abandoned him. Why he left him for four years and why he didn't come to save him. Doing so, Basil has started to convince Sunny to commit suicide, because it's unfair that is still alive after everything he did, it's unfair Sunny's got the right to live and not him, despite the fact they were both guilty for the same act. Basil told that, if Sunny would be able to kill himself, they could be linked together forever, like they promised to each other in the past.
Omori has tried to interfere between them and even succeded to attack Basil hoping he could calm down his Dreamer. Basil smiled at this and told him he remembered absolutely everything about his multiples deaths in Black Space. He pointed out his scar all over his neck and told him he remembered clearly the time when Omori cut his head on the raft.
After that, Omori's attention focused on his "best friend" and that was a that moment he noticed that, this Basil has all of the scars of his previous deaths. Each one of them were made by Omori in Black Space when he tried to repressed the truth to his Dreamer.
Since the beginning of this story, nobody in headspace can see this Basil. Nobody except Sunny and Omori. And Omori can't control anything anymore.
For the very first time, Omori felt nervous, anxious and weak. He was useless.
He couldn't help Sunny, his dear Dreamer.

I've found a small quote I've wrote some time ago about what Basil had said. (I had to rephrase it because somes sentences wasn't translatable) so here it is:
Basil: "Oh Sunny! I've missed you so much! Don't tell me you've already forgotten me? It's me, Basil, your best friend! You know, the one that died because of you. Do you remember now? You're really forgetful!
Hey Sunny, how does it feel to be still alive? Do you enjoy it? I'm asking you that because, you know, I don't have this privilege anymore.
Mmh? You don't want to play with me? Mh, I see, it's not a big deal. I can wait a litle longer. You'll come for me, I know it. You always come back to get me! But don't take too long, I may not be here tomorrow..."

I'm think the real Basil is a bit too big but I'm glad I've finished this drawing on time !
The funny thing is that Basil's Birthday is a day right after mine ! And since it's a character I like a lot, it makes me smile :) He's like, my birthday gift!

I've tried something with Stranger and I found the move very cute so I wanted to draw Omori with him in this position. Both of them are judging you hehe~
I have got some ideas in my head about them being reunited together in White space after the ture ending, for the better or for worse
I hope I could do it properly one day, but it would be a lot of work, so... It's in stand by in my files for now.

I introduce you to the beginning of a ship really dear to me : Nightshade !
So yeah, it's Omori and "Stranger". Well, the human version of Stranger, called Rowan. My friend and I have recycled the name of Basil in his beta version to humanize Stranger and play with him in ours AUs !!
(We also have technically the presence of Flower who's a different character of both Basil and Rowan... Maybe I'll fully explain my AUs one day...)
