Alle prime ore del 31 luglio 1972 oltre ventimila soldati dell'esercito britannico, sostenuti da un numero considerevole di carri armati e bulldozer, fecero irruzione in alcune aree dei quartieri di Derry e di Belfast. 'L'operazione Motorman' fu condotta con l'obiettivo di riprendere il controllo delle aree vietate ('no-go areas) e di smantellare le barricate erette dalla comunità nazionalista per proteggersi dagli attacchi settari dei vicini lealisti e della RUC, il corpo di polizia federale.
Una delle zone "vietate" più iconiche è stata senza dubbio quella del Bogside, a Derry. Proprio qui, in Rossville Street, è stato completato nel luglio 2001 un murale a tema, che non lascia spazio a molte interpretazioni. Il soldato inglese che fa irruzione violentemente in una abitazione della zona è solo una delle tante azioni repressive che gli abitanti di questi quartieri furono costretti a subire. Un comportamento, quello dell'esercito britannico, da condannare fermamente.
Ma questo è solo l'ennesimo vergognoso capitolo di una storia già tristemente nota. 🇮🇪✊️⛓️

Things that roommates could argue about:
not doing the dishes
not caring enough for their pets
not repairing damage their pets did
about who can use the bathroom first in the morning
about the people they bring into the shared space
being too loud when they get in late or go out early
never going grocery shopping
eating all of their food
never doing their chores
music or TV is too loud
stealing the other person's clothes
regularly burning the food they try to cook
not paying rent on time or other bills
about what they will watch for movie night
one being a night owl and the other being an early bird
their partner basically living with them without paying rent

Camping Prompts
1. A (and B)’s tent collapses (in the middle of the night).
2. It’s been years since A was last here, but they are feeling nostalgic and visiting the old campsite they went to during their childhood/with their ex/etc. felt like something they needed/should to do.
3. With every night, A and B’s sleeping bags lie closer together.
4. A quietly tries to make their way to B’s tent in the middle of the night, hoping that nobody will see them.
5. A left a while ago to cool down after an argument/to go to the campsite bathroom/etc. As time drags on, B starts to worry if something happened to them.

Hi there :)
I started writing these when I just came back from a two-day camping trip. But that was in summer. Now it's winter, so let's finish them :)
Camping Prompts
There are many unfamiliar sounds you hear, when you sleep outside of a house. But hearing their partner's steady breathing right beside their ear felt more than familiar.
It was just like the movies. The cold seeping into their tent, with no other choice then to get close to stay warm.
They didn't know who thought that camping in the middle of winter was a good idea, but they were here now and they had to make the best out of it.
The marshmellows they roasted over the fire, with their eyes not being able to leave each other's gaze, were the best they ever had.
"I'm cold." "I'm cold too." "But it was your brilliant idea, so come up with a plan!" "Oh, I have an even more brilliant idea to warm us up."
"What are you doing?" "There are snowflakes on your eye lashes."
"Why are my marshmellows always burning?" "Come on, I'll show you how to do it."

Christmas AUs (2)
Our families go to the same church, but we’re not that religious so I only see you on Christmas and I swore myself that this would be the year I finally talk to you.
We’re both working at a charity event for homeless people at Christmas and despite the cold I don’t really want to go home afterwards.
You got way to drunk at a Christmas Party and now I’ve got to get you home somehow.
We have different opinions on how to decorate a Christmas tree.
I got you for Secret Santa at work and now I have to think about what to get you.
We never met before but we both went to the Christmas market with mutual friends and suddenly everyone’s gone and we’re the only ones still there.
You’re new in town and I’m your neighbor and we always throw a little party in our apartment for all the singles in the building, why don’t you come and celebrate with us?
We’re telling our children about our catastrophic first Christmas together.

This blog is insanely amazing! Was curious as to if you could do some prompts for a love triangle ? I know that's kinda vague but if you had any idea about the dynamics and tropes or just some random dialogue I'd love you for it
Hi :)
My favourite love triangles end in a polyship and think you can see that in my prompts, but I tried to come up with some variety, so it’s not just another OT3 prompt list.
Here are some ideas for love triangle dynamics:
Love Triangle Ideas
Person A, Person B and Person C are actors and they play the most infuriating love triangle on TV. What their fans don’t know is that it’s not any better in real life.
Person A and Person B are both in a relationship with Person C without knowing about the other one. When they find out that they’ve both been cheated on by Person C, they team up to exact revenge on them.
Person A likes both Person B and Person C, but believes that they like each other and wants to be a good friend and sets them up with each other. But they actually don’t like each other, they both actually like Person A.
Person A loves Person B and is so jealous that Person B seems to be in love with Person C, that they don’t realize that Person C has a crush on them. It’s the perfect triangle.
Person A and Person B both have a crush on Person C, but they soon realize that neither one of them have a chance, so they bond over that fact.
Person A and Person B have what can only be described as a love-hate relationship and Person C always has to be the mediator in their relationship.
Person A likes both Person B and Person C, but they now demand a decision from Person A.
Person A’s and Person B’s relationship was always of a very competitive nature, so when Person C comes around, they compete against each other to win Person C’s affection.
Person A and Person B like each other. Everyone knows that. But when Person B just never acts on it, Person C convinces Person A to let them go and move on with Person C.
Everyone told Person A that chickening out of the decision-making, by not choosing one them, was the easy way out. But it definitely wasn’t.
