Deep lines of worry etched into an otherwise handsome face
As long as I'm back in my TMA era, I might as well draw my favorite dude. Yes, before you ask, this pose IS meant to be read as romantic. Here's an alternate version as a reward for clicking through.
I know I haven't posted art in a while. I was sick for a little over a week, and I've been otherwise busy this past week. But I've got something in the works.
I've also gone ahead and set up a Cohost page, in case anyone wants to follow me on there. I won't be using Bluesky.
After the debacle with predstrogen, and now the rumors of Tumblr being in talks with Midjourney, I'm considering leaving altogether. It's not set in stone, mind you-- I've still got some ideas lined up that I'll likely post here anyway-- but it's a consideration.
In the meantime, I'm gonna plug my Neocities again. Still doesn't have much in the way of a gallery, but a bunch of my short-form comics are on there.

Here's the original post! Took a little bit of Google magic, but I found it. Please read this poem if you're not familiar; it genuinely changed my life.
Look at these two. How they wish to destroy one another. How they wish to control one another.
Is it over? Am I going back?
After a significant amount of time and a lot of literal migraines, it's complete! This is my little six-pager The Stanley Parable fancomic, with text from the poem "I am asking you to endure it" by Tumblr user intactics. I'll have to link to it when I dig up the original post, since they'd previously deactivated.
Some notes here, as a tasty little reward for actually clicking the readmore.
I've loved this game since long before Ultra Deluxe edition came out; one of my favorite readings is the narrator as metaphor for God (or maybe just a god). So this poem felt like a perfect fit.
The color palette grows colder and the shadows grow darker each time Stanley jumps. You'll notice that it also gets further and further away from yellow.
In the original poem, "I am asking you to endure it" is a cold denial. Here, it becomes a desperate plea. Funny how much context changes things.

In case anyone's wondering what I'm up to, I've been intermittently working on a 6-page comic while also battling migraines and trying to find a job. Most likely I'll have it up before the end of the month.
Three burnouts stuck in a zombie apocalypse time loop together, you won't believe what happens next
This is a little book cover concept for the story I'm currently writing! As stated previously, these three chuckleheads are stuck in a time loop together, trying to find the source of the loop so they can end it. There might be someone watching them, though...
This was a fun little piece to kick the year off with! (Okay, technically I did one before this, but it was a belated Secret Santa gift that I won't be posting here.) I originally wasn't gonna give it the same look as that Spider-Noir drawing I did back in September, but after testing it out I realized it fit way too well.
Also, the color-coded rim lighting was per the suggestion of a friend. Thanks bud, your idea turned out amazing.
