I would usually say that maybe Taylor was just too in shock or nervous up there, but she had already been up there to win other awards that night.
Whew... Idk... I mean, it's not a capital offense or anything, but that's just a bummer, cuz yea, like you said, this woman is not only a legend, but she's also been battling Stiff Man's Disease (or whatever it's called) for YEARS, and she's finally making her first appearance in forever.
Anyway, I'm sure it wasn't done on purpose, but still..... 🥴 Eeesh.... Like, at least graciously LOOK at the person and thank them while they're handing you your award. Geez.... Especially a legend like Celine.

Yes, I’m in college and no, I’m in my senior year and need these classes to pass, apparently 🙄
Switching shifts is hard, cause they’ll have me work one of their shifts, and I can’t work nights and I can’t work certain days because I’ll be in classes all day. Like morning til afternoon.
My manager is being petty because two other people are leaving for spring break (not even the whole spring break either, just on the days they’re scheduled, which is like three days!) I never call out, never miss a shift (except when I got the flu), I haven’t been traveling or using benefits like everybody else has—I show up!
Two of the trips were unplanned (one for school that’s necessary for my major, the other a family one that they decided to tack on last minute)
I don’t make enough money for the job I have; they keep changing the schedule and making it harder to keep up with, yet they don’t pay me enough to keep up with bills!
Confession Sunday:
I am currently failing 3 out of 7 classes cause I’m trying to catch up on assignments and work AND find time to sleep 🙃😒. And my manager is playing around with my UTO saying she doesn’t have to approve it if she doesn’t want too—I have three trips this year, possibly four, I NEED to go. I hardly ever miss work, I’ve never used my benefits yet, and while everyone else gets to travel I’m stuck because I can’t find someone to cover my shifts.
Is horrible that I wanna call her boss or like, the president or something, and get everyone fired for negligence?

"I WILL BE OKAY. This is just a phase and a very BRIEF moment in my long life that I'm going to get over, and be stronger for it."
First of all.... 7 classes??? Whew! Is this college? Or high school? 👀
Cuz 7 classes sounds like a LOT for someone who's not even working on the side....I can't even fathom taking 7 classes AND working. 😲 😱
The max of classes I used to take a semester when I was in school was 4.... maybe 5. Then again, I was usually also working a PT job on the side as well, so it was rare that I wasn't working AND going to school.
Awww girl.... Is there a way you can lessen your course load this semester? Or do you HAVE to finish all your classes this semester due to financial aid/scholarship reasons?
Second:
I wouldn't say anything to your boss' boss.... at least, NOT YET. 👀
See if maybe you and another coworker can switch shifts or smthg. You take a day or so for them when they want to be off, and they cover you on your shift when you want to be off? See if some might be willing to trade with you.
You can also try asking your boss at a more opportune time for time off?
Also, do you HAVE to take 4 trips this year? 👀
Could you lessen those to three.... or maybe even 2? Lol 😆

Try to request for only ONE trip at a time lol. See what happens lol 😆

Damn 😳. I was just surprised my mama smoked weed, but this??
Okay I got the full story again.
It was a time in her life where she did stupid shit because she just did not care about anything. In her words she was "young and stupid". To be fair, she didn't know they were gang members until a while later. She met guy 1 at a friend's party, started seeing him, met guy 2 at another party and started seeing him too. When she found out they were rival gangs she was like "oops, okay cool whatever" and went about her business for a bit. She also told me that another girl who was into one of the guys (he wanted nothing to do with her) tried to jump her because of jealousy, but my mom whooped her ass. Soon after that mom was like done with all the girl drama and didn't enjoy the "heist" stuff she unknowingly was a part of and just ghosted. She said the only smart thing she did was not tell anyone about where she lived, what neighborhood, nothing, she just dropped off the face of the earth.
Some wild mom lore that's still hard for me to wrap my mind around 😅
