After becoming a happy owner of a drawing tablet (finally!) I returned to good old drawing instead of Blender generated stuff. And hell, I’ve missed that.
So this is it - Saito Hajime. I’m not entirely pleased with the result and I’ll surely correct it many times. I had to look at many Hakuouki pictures to learn the lines and the shadows while drawing. But I think he looks good.
The initial plan was to make him look relaxed but at some point he started to look as if he had too much sake with Shinpachi. I could practically hear him say “Souji, the world is spinning, please make it stop.” Eventually I managed to turn him into what my husband called “quite romantic”. I like the description so I’m gonna stick with that.

I took a break from elves for a moment and focused on this one revenant. Yakumo Shinonome. Or Beefcake, as my friend calls him. Our favorite tanku in Code Vein.
This time I experimented with “photoshopping” him into a screenshot. I’m not very pleased with the way it came out but I couldn’t find proper elements to build a decent background.
