I have a headcanon that after the kraang invasion mikey got a lot more in contact with his powers so they started reacting to his emotions, everytime he feels a strong emotion he sets himself on fire, its mostly an involuntary thing he does without even paying attention but he can also do it at will, he can stop this reaction when needed but its kinda difficult for him, this is also the reason why things keep getting burn around the lair incluiding his mask, now the Boys keep extinguishers in every room even their own, donnie is still trying to find a solution to this.
