𖥔‧₊˚ ⊹ Lunarix is officially bought by MyDol Entertainment.
Tumblr media
Despite Fans Pleading, the rookie girl group Lunarix’s contracts have been officially bought by MyDol Entertainment. MyDol Entertainment was established in 2023 by the former CEO and convicted abuser, Son Jinhwa. From the moment of it’s conception, MyDol has been fighting for Lunarix’s contract which is why the group has seemingly gone dormant. Fans worry for the girls' well-being but will most likely support their comeback under MyDol since Celestials are spineless and treat Lunarix’s success as their own.

LUNARIX is a six-member fictional girl group that debuted on July 17, 2023 under ANGELICO Entertainment. Rookies thrown into the UNFORGIVING landscape of the entertainment industry, Lunarix stands out amongst the rest with their UNCONVENTIONAL and QUIRKY sound and concept.
Originally known as "ANGELGIRLZ" during their pre-debut phase, the group faced immediate scrutiny. Their debut announcement quickly followed the disbandment of Angelico's top-performing groups, VENUS and DeepDive. Accusations arose, claiming that ANGELGIRLZ copied Venus' "VENUS PROJECT" with their pre-debut project, "The Angel Project." Angelico chose not to address these allegations.
The negative reception toward ANGELGIRLZ intensified when their leader, Angel, was exposed as a school bully. The group's pre-debut single, "Chu~♡," received a poor response from the public. Following this setback, Angel was removed from ANGELGIRLZ, and her contract with Angelico was terminated.
On their debut date of July 17, 2023, Siyeon, a former DollsWorld member, joined the lineup, completing the current six-member configuration. Despite this addition, Lunarix still struggles to gain widespread public affection and often becomes the target of online hate trains.
Tumblr media
Siyeon, the leader of Lunarix, was born on May 13th, 1999 in Daegu, South Korea, to a bustling family of six siblings. Siyeon's path to stardom seemed destined from the start, as she was born under a Waning Crescent moon.
From a young age, Siyeon displayed a big personality and an undeniable need to be on stage, setting her apart from her siblings. Her innate charisma and talent caught the attention of many, earning her the title of the "survival show princess." Siyeon participated in numerous survival shows, consistently making it to the finale but never securing a spot in the final group. Despite this, she remained a beloved contestant among viewers.
SIYEON'S SURVIVAL SHOW RESUME !
KARA Project: RANK 3rd
PRODUCE 101: RANK 18th
IDOL SCHOOL: RANK 17th
MIXNINE: RANK 5th, failed to debut.
UNPRETTY RAPSTAR 2: Third runner-up
THE UNIT: RANK 12th
PRODUCE 48: RANK 14th

In 2019, Siyeon finally made her official debut with the group DOLLSWORLD under Stormedia. However, the group's journey was short-lived, with only two comebacks before silently disbanding as all the members terminated their contracts.
Undeterred by the challenges, Siyeon embarked on a new chapter in 2021 when she joined Angelico Entertainment. Alongside her commitment to training, Siyeon continued to participate in various survival shows, showcasing her resilience and determination.
Siyeon became Lunarix's new leader, main singer, and visual after Angel, the group's previous leader, was removed before their debut. Siyeon's strong singing and attractive appearance brought fresh energy to the group and contributed significantly to its identity.

Liala Davis was born on January 20th, 1999 in Songkhla, Thailand during a Waxing Crescent moon. She grew up in a home filled with music, as her father was a copywriter and her mother was a journalist and part-time singer. They provided a rich environment full of musical inspiration for Liala to grow up in.
Liala grew up in a musical family. Her mother sang beautifully, and her father played the guitar in his spare time. This upbringing instilled in her a deep love for music. As an only child for much of her life, Liala was often pampered by her parents. Because of this, her friends and family referred to her as "Princess."
During her school days, Liala's fascination with becoming an idol began after she and her friends watched a performance by 4minute on YouTube.
Liala was a natural leader who took charge as the head of her school's dance team. She loved performing and showed her skills and passion to everyone. One day, she caught the attention of Angelico Entertainment and they accepted her into their agency. Liala dedicated herself to training and her exceptional talents quickly set her apart from others. She left Thailand to train in South Korea and while she was away, her parents welcomed another baby girl into the world, making Liala a big sister.

Kim Taerin was born on August 12th, 2000, in Seoul, South Korea. She is a talented individual with a complex past that adds to her intrigue.
Taerin has always kept her childhood a private matter. While there isn't much information available, some internet detectives have uncovered some heartbreaking details. When she was 5 years old, Taerin lost her parents and older brother in a terrible house fire. She was then adopted by a couple in Seoul. She has openly stated that she prefers not to think about her childhood, and the people who raised her are no longer a part of her life.
Taerin struggled with her studies and social life, but found solace in music. At just 15 years old, she began producing music on SoundCloud, showing that she was talented at making beats and melodies. She adopted the name SEEU and started making music for lesser-known groups and Korean hip-hop artists. This helped her grow up fast as she navigated the producer scene.
Taerin faced challenges when she decided to pursue her craft independently at the age of 17. It's unclear how she caught the attention of Angelico Entertainment, but this was a turning point in her life. Under Angelico's guidance, Taerin worked on her image and kept most of her past hidden.
She'd debut in Lunarix as their main rapper, lead vocalist, and producer.

Jang Yoomi was born on October 10th, 2001 in New York City. She moved to Ulsan, South Korea when she was seven years old. Yoomi faced challenges during her move, including her shy personality and difficulty learning Korean since she had not spoken the language before. She was born during a Last Quarter moon and started her life in a fast-paced environment in the United States.
Yoomi and her siblings grew up in a family of successful business owners and CEOs. They went to the most prestigious private school in Korea. Despite being academically strong, Yoomi had a difficult time adjusting to the new environment. Her limited Korean skills and introverted personality made her a target for bullying and harassment. The situation reached a boiling point when she suffered a broken nose and cracked ribs from a particular incident.
Yoomi's parents decided to withdraw her from school due to the worsening situation. They wanted to ensure that their daughter was in a safer environment, so they used their connections to secure her a trainee position at Angelico Entertainment. This change was aimed at providing Yoomi with a more supportive setting to develop her talents. Yoomi continued her schooling online and thrived in her role as one of Angelico's top trainees, demonstrating her resilience and determination.

Navi Pandya was born in Odisha, India on November 7th, 2002, under a Waxing Crescent moon. Despite her young age, Navi has an impressive portfolio that showcases her commitment to her craft.
Navi's early childhood is not widely known, but it is known that dancing was an essential part of it. She was inspired by her four sisters who were all accomplished dancers themselves, and she aspired to be like them. Navi was influenced by K-pop bands such as Wonder Girls and Miss A, and started her trainee journey under JYP Entertainment.
Navi first appeared on the K-pop scene through the reality show SIXTEEN where she competed to become a member of the group TWICE, but unfortunately didn't make it. She didn't give up and later participated in Produce 101, where she ranked fifth and went on to debut with I.O.I. Navi won the affectionate nickname "nation's baby" for her performance.
Navi's career came to a halt after I.O.I. She was expected to debut with ITZY, but a disagreement over her contract with JYP changed things. She joined FLOWERBANK Entertainment but faced challenges with mismanagement of her solo career and several promised group debuts that never happened. This period led to a decline in the momentum gained during her I.O.I days.
In 2022, Navi made a significant move by joining Angelico Entertainment, marking a turning point in her career. Debuting with Lunarix as their main dancer, center, and lead rapper in 2023.

39 & 28 for navi!
O39. Would they rather be invited to an event to feel included or be excluded from an event if they were not genuinely wanted there?
navi only wants to be places where she's wanted. if the room feels off or the vibe between her and someone is off, she's out of there. she is not wasting her time or energy on something like that as her time is one of the most important things to her nowadays.
O28. What do they tell people they want? What do they actually want?
she tells people she wants to be successful and for lunarix to succeed and that's what she actually wants. literally her only goal in life at this point is to succeed at this thing she's been working towards diligently for SEVEN YEARS. she can't get past that she's spent so much time and energy on this to flop. that's why her only goal is to be successful at what she does because it'd be too embarrassing to not be successful at this point.

20 & 5 for yoomi!
O20. Who do they like as a person but hate their work? Vice versa, whose work do they like but don’t like the person?
don't tell no one but yoomi has NEVER liked a song that noah has produced. every time they're given a song by him she feels like curling up into a ball and dying because she really loves him, they've been friends since they were trainees and he's really nice but god she hates his work SO much. vice versa, this is so stupid sdnfkjdnsf, but she really loves justin timberlake's music like that's probably one of her most problematic stances 😭
OO5. Can they cry on command? If so, what do they think about to make it happen?
oh no, yoomi just cries. she's just a cry baby skjfnksjfs

Lunarix has made their MAMA debut! Attending both days of the award show, the girls were nominated for Rookie of the Year and Music Video of the Year. The girls also performed on both days, the first day performed their own song while on the second day, Yoomi joined Huh Yun-jin (Le Sserafim), Xiaoting (Kep1er), Bada Lee (Street Woman Fighter 2), Monika (Street Woman Fighter), Minnie ((G)I-dle) for the super stage "Goddess Awakened".
Tumblr media
Being styled in sparkly white and black dresses, the girls stunned on the red carpet, posing for the cameras like pros with many heart poses and eye-catching smiles. The girls were noted to be very photogenic and playful with photographers, clearly enjoying themselves.
Tumblr media
For their performance, the girls would perform their latest title track, "NONSENSE!" though they would not be drawing clown outfits for makeup this time around. They would be styled in simple yet quirky pink outfits.
Tumblr media
For her part in the "Goddess Awakened" stage, Yoomi would perform a dance to "What ur Secret? (MAMA VERSION)" where only the instrumental was played while Yoomi danced with backup dancers around her in white. Yoomi's outfit was a baby pink with iridescent gemstones adorning the top of her dress.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The girls' performances were highly praised for their energy and crowdwork. At the start of their performance of "NONSENSE!" the girls actually started in the crowd, interacting with their colleagues as they sang the intro to the song. Evie started the song off sitting between Xiaoting and Chaeyeon of Kepler, looking at both the girls with an excited smile on her face before saying, "Are you ready for this?" as if she was asking them personally. It was a cute moment as the girls played along, cheering excitedly and nodding.
Once the girls all met back on stage for the chorus, they would deliver an electrifying yet fun performance. Despite giving it their all, the girls were met with a predominantly black ocean. Celestials blame this on Lunarix not having an official lightstick and the fans that were there not having any real way to show their support in the crowd besides cheering. The black ocean would cause more buzz than their performance, which only upset fans further. The girls are presumed to be ignoring this as they haven't brought it up.
Yoomi's performance, while not met with a black ocean, thank god, was met with heavy criticism from netizens as they claimed she was lacking compared to the other idols around her. Yoomi claims to have been practicing her routine for months, working with choreographers and professionals to make sure she performed to the best of her abilities. While some were critical of her, many professional dancers who reacted to the performance said that Yoomi performed very well and only seemed to lack facial expressions.
Tumblr media
Despite their composed demeanor for the cameras, the girls couldn't keep it together behind the scenes.
Case in point: during a jewelry mishap, Taerin's pearl necklace snapped, scattering pearls everywhere. Cue collective shock from the group, drawing amused glances from other idols. Siyeon quickly shifted from laughter to action, diving into a Ricky fan cam moment as she picked up pearls while apologizing to the boys through fits of laughter.
The girls also made waves with their reactions to a certain Treasure member. As Hyunsuk appeared on screen during Treasure's performance, the camera caught Laila looking unamused and Siyeon scratching her head with a puzzled expression.
A fan-edited video showcased the girls enthusiastically reacting to Somi and (G)I-DLE's performances, only to abruptly switch to forced smiles during a boy group's act. The video became a viral reaction meme among Celestials.
Navi's genuine enjoyment of Le Sserafim's performance turned heads. Expressing shock when it ended too soon, she turned to Siyeon in disbelief, questioning, "They only get one song?" with a distressed look.
Backstage, Yoomi and Laila, dressed in performance outfits, covered Siren with Riize's Shotaro and Sungchan. The video earned praise for the girls' ability to handle challenging choreography. In the caption, Laila mentioned, "Ahh, my favorite song and dance 🌟. Asked Shotaro to get Siren on Spotify, and he said he's working on it 🥲."
During Xiker's performance, Evie enthusiastically nodded along, turning to Taerin and inquiring, "Do you think they'll play Tricky House?" Taerin's reply? A puzzled, "I don't know what that is."
Navi stole the spotlight with an infectious smile when she showcased the Sugar Rush Ride choreography (our certified moa) on the big screen. Her visuals went viral, prompting the trending phrase "WHO IS SHE?" on Twitter.
The girls, excluding Evie, were visibly surprised when they lost the Rookie of the Year award. Evie, on the other hand, nonchalantly shrugged while clapping for the winners, having foreseen the outcome.

They had everyone excited for their music show appearances, though! The styling went viral at every performance due to how dedicated to the clown concept they were.
The girls did all their makeup themselves. Navi said they took inspiration from clowns and the circus in general and would watch clown makeup tutorials to make sure they got it right.
Their fanbase was still pretty small so they didn't win any music show awards, but they did gain a lot of fans during this era! A lot of people thought the effort they put into their concept was fun.
The girls organized a charity event at a local children's hospital, where they spent quality time with the young patients, performing for the children as well as just spending time with them. They did this multiple times during the Circusix era.
Their in-person fan meetings were always circus-themed! They always had mini-games for their fans to win exclusive photocards, merchandise, or other prizes.
The girls were working like they didn't have a day off during these promotions. Many people speculated it was so Angelico could make back some of the money they put into this comeback because the album sales...
They literally sold 45,000 copies in their first month like they did not flop, but Roan set the bar at 100,000 which...He maybe overshot it! He had high hopes!
The M/V for Nonsense! hit 3 million views in 24 hours. Once it hit 5 million, the music video for Lion Tamer was released. Which hit 2.5 million views in 24 hours.
Dance practices for every song were released as well.
The girls held their first virtual concert with over 14,000 attendees! They did amazing and had a great time. They even read letters they wrote to each other and to their celestials, and, of course, because they're a group of cry babies, every girl got emotional.
Nonsense did go viral on Tiktok, causing the girls to start a Nonsense challenge where they would collab with other idols to either dance the choreography together or do a silly little skit together where they'd lip sync the lyrics to one another as if they're having an animated conversation. It was a hit! Those videos went viral in their fandoms every time.
Overall, this era was way better than their debut era, and though the girls were overworked to hell and back, they were much more accepted by the public! Not completely but it's getting better for them!
