Let us take a moment
With this whole controversy going on, I thought we can take a moment to do something positive.
Let us actually help the children. I gather links from different organizations that support children in need. I tried to collect only the ones that I couldn't find controversies. Please keep in mind I'm not perfect, so if you want to help I advise you to also look into the institutions so you can decide with a clear conscious if you want to support them.

Please help if you can. It doesn't matter if it is donating, volunteering, sponsering a child or even just sharing this. Antis say there are more of them than people who supports this ship. I'm starting to wonder if it is true?
Because if it is, then they are not doing enough for their cause.
All it took to get a nice rating again was some post on Twitter and Tumblr.

Can someone just explain to me exactly what people expect to happen?
I mean, I know people hold their morals very high and I kind of get why they want to get the attention of Hulu, when it comes to Yashahime.
Disney owns Hulu and they are very family friendly, so if Rin is under 18, I get why they would try to report this anime to get out of the stream...
But can someone explain why they are trying the same thing with Crunchyroll? I don't get it.
It is an anime stream service!!! They have all sorts of problematic content in there. Anime has such an vast variety of content, from innocent to really disturbing.
What? They think Crunchyroll will say: "Yeah, makes sense. Let's get this top 10 most watched anime from Japan out"
Or does Crunchy have some policy when it comes to animes they stream I just don't know about?
Please, I'm serious... I'm really confused.

So people ... Normally I don't adress antis, because I believe you have the right to be disgusted and to dislike something. But I think I should warn you.
There are antis who plan to report sessrin content as harmful for minors. There is an anon, who linked over 20 sessrin shippers.
I just think you should know.
I really just wanted this fandom to become peaceful, but this is actually too much for me. Specially because most posts I saw were people celebrating or Screenshots of the episode. Maybe some fanart that in no means seem to be harmful, specially because Rin wasn't drawn as a child or at least not younger than in the show itself.
So, just stay safe. This drama is getting out of hand

I think I was block for the first time in my life!
Which is actually totally fine. This post is not target to the person who block me, it is their right, I just hope I didn't offend them, it was never my intention if that is the case and I wish I could apologize.
I just want to try to make my point across correctly (?) At least to the people who might see me in the respond.
I think a lot of people who watch Inuyasha have a double standard problem. They jump to spread hate over a fictional ship and claim higher moral ground. Which you know, if it makes you uncomfortable it is fine. It is the way you feel and it is valid.
But to claim a cause and ignore the other problematics in the show itself, it's a double standard in my opinion.
The Inuyasha universe has always depicted young girls as women of age.
Sexual harassment is depicted as a joke.
Sango married someone who used to touch her without consent.
Violence is normalized, not only through blood and fights, but also by hitting on children -> Inuyasha/Shippo
Kagome basically uses domestic violence against Inuyasha for minor things.
And there is a lot more, if you really want to look at "problematic themes".
Don't get me wrong, some things make sense in the universe set. It is fiction, it has it's own rules.
I don't care if you are an anti, neutral or shipper. You can like and dislike whatever you want.
But there is a lot of hypocrisy going on in this fandom. Specially when claiming that the show is target to a young audience and that fiction affects reality, because if you truly believe this and you are passionate about it, then please also talk about the other issues.
I do love Inuyasha, I think it has a very engaging way of telling the story. I don't think every show has to be unproblematic or "safe". There are shows that are like that, they are important and wholesome, but not every show has to show the "right" morals.
I'm actually a pro shipper. I think people can make whatever they want with fiction.
Liking or disliking something doesn't say anything about you as a person.
Either way, I don't want to fight. I hope this doesn't come of as agressive, it isn't suppose to be. It is suppose to be a discussion, feel free to agree or disagree with me 😊
I actually wish peace in this fandom, I just wanted to throw my thoughts.
Either way, it doesn't matter which side you are in this post, or even which side you are in this fandom, I wish you nothing less than happiness and love 💞
