When the twins casually reveal that Moroha was the one who informed them of their heritage, inquiries are thrown in her direction on how she came to know Sesshomaru before either the girls did.

Moroha successfully dodges them until Sesshomaru himself reveals that their first encounter involved her biting his arm.

Kagome is horrified that her daughter would blatantly challenge a great demon but Inuyasha is in hysterics when he discovers that the arm she bit was his left one.

Ok before you all start another civil war send death threats to Sunrise and Rumiko, or whatever you are about to do with all that free time nobody knows how you manage to have. At least read the timeline this hardworking fan managed to put together with checked facts.

Rin was not 13. Not 14. Not 7. Not newborn when she got pregnant. Stop removing 1-2 years from her age every week to feed your narrative. Two weeks ago she was 17, last week she was 16 this week she is 13. The least you all can do is get your facts straight. I am unbiased in these tantrums and sick of both parties being mentally ill.

Conclusion: Rin was 18 when she gave birth, 17 when she got pregnant. Do whatever you want with the information.

The debate on wether is ok or not for some grown ass dude to date a 17 yo he knew since she was 8 can go on, i'm not your mother. All of you are entitled to your opinions but at least stop arguing about her fucking age.

Also keep in mind no valid source ever confirmed Rin's age to be 8 in the OG series. She could have easily been 9 or 10 but let's settle it for the worst case scenario and let her be 8 the way the fandom agreed long time ago and start from there.

White Sesshoumaru and Black Sesshoumaru

This is just a reflection.

I remember this interview where Rumiko Takahashi reveals how she was given indication by Sunrise to draw a 「白い殺生丸」 White Sesshoumaru and a 「黒い殺生丸」 Black Sesshoumaru when creating Towa and Setsuna.

This may be just due to the fact the twins’ mother is most likely dark haired, but it also made me wonder if the dichotomy black and white doesn’t also allude to the obvious contrapposition between good and evil, which reconnects to the already mentioned theme of nature vs nurture that will be addressed in the series, a concept that would become way more interesting if the twins end up being related to the biggest villain of Inuyasha, Naraku.

Another interesting thing to note in regards of Naraku’s genetic is that he produced detachments that can be literally divided into two categories: black and white.

See this art from the videogame Inuyasha: Naraku’s War that contains all Naraku’s incarnations where the separation between black and white is obvious.

You can also notice a precise colour scheme associated to each category.

White category:

White, purple (Dominant)

Red, green, blue, yellow (Occasional)

Black category:

Black, purple, blue, red (Dominant)

Yellow, green (Occasional)

Of course, Kagura perfectly fits in the black category, Sesshoumaru's aesthetic is dominated by white, and this is reflected in Towa and Setsuna:

OK so clearly the lady that Setsuna is fighting in the OP is also the one that ordered Homura to burn the forest down, meaning to kill the twins. She also has the snow white hair and facial markings of a dog yokai, so perhaps she's Sesshomaru's relative, or perhaps his betrothed? Well either way theres definitely gonna be lots of drama ✨✨✨ from her.
