I love writing fanfiction in English and using cute pet names like "love" or "dear" or "darling" because there's just so many nice terms of endearment and I'm German. There is like, one German pet name that's actually cute and the rest you can come up with is the equivalent of walking into the office in an ahegao hoodie on a Monday morning and announcing to all your colleagues that your partner names your body parts after beloved Disney characters. I'm convinced that when you're German and you die and go to the 9th circle of hell, Satan personally hands you a "welcome home loser" leaflet that starts not with your name but with "Dear Knuddelbär" to make it abundantly clear just what kind of place you walked into and that you're never getting out. When I was 15 I had a boyfriend who called me Schnucki once and I had such a visceral reaction of discomfort that I could not take that person seriously from that day forward and broke up with him a week after. Back in my early days of fandom in the year of our lord 2013 someone in the Blue Exorcist fandom asked me "oh what are some cute German things you can call your partner, I tried googling but I don't know which of these I should use" and for a moment I wanted to delete this person's entire search history, unplug their wifi router and do a cleansing ritual for our poor mortal souls but eventually settled for "call them Schatz and roll with this throughout the entire work. Alternatively, use something in English."

One of my favorite head canons is multilingual Levy intentionally swearing in languages she knows people around her don’t understand and even just unintentionally slipping into different languages randomly

Gajeel with prosthetic hands is my FAVORITE headcanon I’ve ever had but there’s just something so personal about gajeel the metal dragon being represented as strong while having prosthetics this idea was originally from my trans groupchat fic but Gajeel being a gremlin with his metal hands (putting his cold hands on his friends necks and slapping people that piss him off a little too hard with his hands)

Also, Miphas theme utilizes notes that are known to musicians as Mi and Fa. Her theme continues into Sidons theme, which uses the Si and Do notes!

i have fairy tail brainrot rn and decided that natsu should be a chemistry genius. like, boy sucks ass at communicating any of it, and he forgets the technical terms all the time so he does get lost pretty fast if someone starts dropping too much fancy jargon but he naturally understands the concepts very fast. obviously combustion is his favorite topic and learning how it works actually ends up helping him get more creative with his fire magic. I'd say it's a secret hobby/interest but it's really not, it just never comes up and on the occasion it does his lackadaisical and non-technical attempt at saying something means he gets brushed off kinda fast. he always gets distracted before he can be annoyed about it though

Can we stop using AI in the fandom and support real artists instead? There's tons of artists who would love requests or commissions. Don't make fandom about consumption and push out the people who are carrying it!
