New Year, New Me!
Or rather, more coherent me. I'm entering this year with a PLAN, and that plan... involves me writing more fanfic, not going to lie, but ALSO involves me writing some original stuff as well!
I'm also realizing I didn't do last month's end of the month roundup, so let me quickly go over that. First, there were four chapters of Vista of the Stars, with Vista finally taking off into space. Secondly there were eight little oneshots for that Worm/Bofuri crossover, which may be expanded on, plus another oneshot where a certain butterfly flaps their wings entitled Vogue. Finally, I added another chapter to An Injection of Chaos, in which Charlotte builds a horse.
Yes, you read that right, builds a horse.
Hmmmm... while I'm here, I might as well mention what I've done this month. Another chapter of the Conference Call fic, wherein the girls talk about their childhoods and being a princess, plus another Vista of the Stars chapter for all of you that like Star Wars and upgrades. Oh, and I kicked off a new fic: In Defiance Of Oblivion, starring Mass Effect's Commander Shepard as an unwilling source of chaos while she sets out on her quest to save the galaxy!
And in non-fanfic news, I'm halfway through one project, partway through another, and starting on a third. Those projects, once they're ready to launch, will be hitting Kickstarter--and I do intend to get at least one of them ready to launch this year.

Gonchorav. I didn’t really pay attention to it when it first came up. But I saw a Muppets Gonchorav mockup poster on my dash, and it got me thinking: that is the perfect way for Gonchorav to come into existence.
Like, listen: Fozzie, being the go-getter he is, has put up posters for Muppets Gonchorav. He’s sold tickets. The theatre’s going to be packed. Kermit is going to be so proud when he hears—:
Kermit: “Fozzie, Gonchorav is a tumblr meme! It’s not real! There’s no script!”
Fozzie: “Well I already sold the tickets! It’s set to show at the end of the week!”
Kermit: “TODAY IS THURSDAY!!!”
And the rest of the movie is split between the Muppets playing an ultra-serious drama onstage and the comical backstage drama of them improvising plot and costumes and props on the fly, with occasional commentary from Statler and Waldorf.

End of the Month Fic Roundup
As we mourn and celebrate the end of this month, I return with my myriad collection of fics and fanfics, with the hopes that at least some of you will enjoy it. I can't do much for reality, but I can do a lot for the realms of imagination and enjoyment.
Firstly, let's go over the random seeds that I've scattered. We've got another Seeker and Sprite segment, for those of you who love teenage superheroes discovering things about themselves. And also, admittedly mostly as a crack idea, there's I'm Fed Up with Zion Ruining the Network for me, so I Recruited Gamers from Another World to Help Out my Host, where Queen Administrator gets creative in her attempts to help Taylor. Finally, I'm proud to say a certain seed has grown enough to be replanted! That's right, Conference Call: Interdimensional Teenage Princess Group Therapy is its own story, complete with TWO new updates!
Of course, I didn't spend the month working just on the oneshots. An Injection Of Chaos has a new chapter, and a fun supplemental report by the PRT. For those of you who like seeing a poor teenage girl struggle with summoning alien creatures through her phone, I present the MLP famous Derpy Hooves! I also started writing a quest in Earth Mythos, an original setting where a generation of people have to adapt to being mythical creatures in a human-designed world. I haven't moved the two updates over to AO3 yet, though I am considering it. Oh, and of course Vista of the Stars has had five chapters put up on AO3, where our intrepid young superheroine FINALLY gets a spaceship!
But finally, as I promised, we have a new chapter of Describing The Series Via References. That's right, after a full year, the RWBY memefic is back! The Vytal Tournament is here, and things are about to go off the rails hard! (I will try to make sure the next update doesn't take a year this time.)

I don’t understand anything about cars, but this is beyond reason. Signal boost.
A few days ago someone tried to steal my car as part of the viral Kia joyriding trend and failed, but they did serious damage to my steering column in the process. Today I got the report from the auto shop and it looks like the cost to repair my car so that I can drive again is going to be about $2000. My savings right now are essentially nothing. If you can spare anything, I'm in desperate need of help. Thank you.

End of the Month Fic Roundup
Happy all hallow's eve, to those of you who care about such a thing! I've been publishing a few treats, and I do have one trick to play...
First of all, another chapter of Japari Interstellar has come out, for those of you who love stories about cute animal people making first contact with aliens. And there's also Power of the Chosen One's new chapter, if you're into the interactions of fae gods and superheroes.
Then we've got a quick smattering of one-shots and snippets: an altpower called Chrysalis, for those of you who like Kafkaesque transformation; another little bit of Central Collapse, featuring the ramblings of a depressed man; and further delving into Vaita Ketotakha, where a bargain is struck between two psychics.
If you're into meatier stories, though, Vista of the Stars got four updates this month, during which our intrepid heroine settles into her new life on Ryloth over the course of a year. Or perhaps you'd like An Injection Of Chaos, where a young girl is blessed with access to the multiverse but cursed with a lack of control.
And finally, an announcement: Some of you may remember that fun meta story, Describing The Series Via References. It hasn't gotten an update this month... but it will get one next month. That's right, this monster has lain dormant for almost a year, but for everyone who wants to jump on... the real ride's finally about to begin.

RAPIDFIRE DREAM JOURNAL
Ruby Rose and Weiss Schnee are on a flying boat/airship with Emerald Sustrai (who has switched bodies with Winter Schnee) and it crashes somewhere. They must learn to trust each other in order to fix things! And also protect the cat that's on the ship.
For whatever reason, some guy is helping Bruce Wayne become Batman when both protoJoker and protoGreen Goblin attack the mansion. Now, some guy must socially maneuver the two nascent supervillains into attacking each other.
Look, there's a dark shadow guy running around, and you're in a cube of boxes. You have to move the boxes around to open paths and look around. If the dark shadow guy catches you, he's going to give you a jumpscare, and you hate jumpscares. Also you can't leave the cube or the sea of dark tentacles will glare at you with purple eyes.
I really should do dream journals more regularly.

I don’t go here, but the Vortixx have made some pretty wacky guns over the years. Like the Nynrah Ghost Blaster. Lets the user telepathically control machines they shoot. Wild.
Ok my little battletech community. What's your favorite oddball weapon? Mine are rocket launcher 20s and The Lance melee weapon.
Nothing like mounting a bunch of rockets in something cheap and doing a large amount of damage to a single target and then sending in the real stuff.

Local queer trans girl werewolf VTuber weirdo here letting your know that I am approaching nearly 12 Months of being unemployed.
Over the last 12 months I have:
Submitted 3,000+ applications/resumes.
Had 100+ interviews.
Got 1 job that I was constantly misgendered at, and upon informing HR, was then cyber-stalked by my bosses.
Got 1 freelance opportunity who, after two weeks, realized they had hired too many people and then let everyone go who was hired - me included.
Ran out of unemployment, drained my savings, maxed out my credit, and fully lost my insurance.
Unfortunately, even if I got a job RIGHT NOW, I would be unable to pay rent and bills for the foreseeable future.
I am constantly applying for jobs and trying to keep everything above water, but at this point I've become desperate for help.

So one of the big bills that always gets me is my internet bill. Which is a real problem, since I do all my work online. I've been looking into ways to reduce it, and...
Well, switching companies would let me pay forty dollars a month, instead of the 73 dollars a month AT@T forces on me. Which is well within my budget.
The problem? It comes with a hundred dollar initial installation fee.
And THAT is not in my budget....
