♔ some skin care tips ♔

reapply sun screen every 2 to 3 hours. don’t use anything under 30.

use a different exfoliator for your face than you do for your body. your face needs one that’s not as aggressive

you might start to break out more upon using a new, good product. this is normal. let the bad stuff be flushed out and keep using it. This does not include things like moisturizers or tonics!

I know it’s annoying but drink. your. water.

don’t use coconut oil on your face if you’re prone to acne and/or have oily skin.

don’t let the water in the shower hit your face too much, the pressure damages the skin on micro-level - a little is fine, just don‘t let it directly hit your face the whole time you‘re in there.

change your pillow sheet every 3 days (oily skin) to once a week.

stop touching your face for god’s sake.

don’t forget to treat your neck too!

regularly exfoliating your hands will slow down hand aging, too (neck & hands are most telling about actual age when older for most people).

if something doesn’t work, throw it away or gift it to someone else. don’t keep using it.

start using a serum if you can afford it - it‘s not necessary but very beneficial.

matcha tea contains waaaaay more antioxidants than your average green tea so that one will get you more health benefits, too!

honey & salmon are good for your skin. also limit your dairy intake.

try to (deep) cleanse your face in the evening if possible to get rid of all the stuff that has collected on your face during the day.

and don’t forget that lasting good skin takes time and consistency. ♡

If you live in Austin, Texas or it’s surrounding areas please do not open any packages that you are not expecting. Do not even touch them.

If you did not order anything and nobody else did. Or if the package seems to be odd. Call your local police department and report that there is a unidentified package at your home and ask for assistance with it.

There have been 3 package bombings in Austin so far. One on March 3rd and two of them today(3/12/18). There are 3 reported deaths and one injury. These bombs are detonated via movement and opening and were believed to be placed at night.

Due to the fact that all 3 houses that were targeted were people of color (first two victims were black and the third was latinx) it is possible that this could be the results of a hate crime, however the reasons and culprits have not yet been found.

I haven’t broken into everything yet, but I have tried the Mascara and I really love the applicator. I also wore the lip gloss and I like the color a lot. It is a color I’ve never really tried. It was a little more orange-y. I’m going to bring everything else this weekend for my brother’s graduation and test everything else out.

I’m glad to have received a box that is a little different than the rest. I was starting to get sick of seeing the same brands and similar items in my voxboxes.
