Just realized that the reason I love making friends on tumblr is because it’s exactly how you make friends on the playground as a six year old. No, I don’t know their name but they love mermaids too and built this awesome sand castle. No, I don’t know their age but their imaginary cheetah is friends with mine. You like this show? You like this character?? You can sing the theme song really loud??? Here is a flower crown. Here is a juice box. You can share my time and I might never see you again but part of you stays in my soul forever. In my mind we’re still on the swing set and the sky is blue and nothing will ever be wrong again.

welcome to hopefully the last collab call I @treasuretaeil will be hosting for a while. this is the biggest collab as there will be more opportunities for writers.
♛ Details ♛
➳ the theme is... books.
➳ which means you must create a fic that is inspired or based upon a book of your choice. there's no specific genre, or type you are required to do. styles of books can include short stories, manga, comics, children books, stand alones, series... etc.
➳ does not mean you'd have to read the book beforehand, you may know some knowledge, could be a book you've wanted to read or a story that was adapted to a movie/show
➳ if you choose a book series, it's up to you whether you'd based upon one book, the entirety or the overall theme (same goes for any other book).
➳ discord server: required in order to keep up with everyone's stories
due date: December 2022
➳ you may post anytime until the due date, it'll be due next December and since there's plenty of time hopefully it'll work with everyone.
drop out date: October 2022
➳ no hard feelings if you decide to leave, message me if you decide this
♛ Rules ♛
➳ first come first served, there are 46 slots in total. each member will have two open slots. one spot will be taken by me
➳ no more than two writers using the same book, as it will be repetitive + there's millions of different books to choose from
➳ all writers are welcomed to join
➳ all genres are welcomed: fluff, angst, smut, horror... do anything you like as long as it doesn't include rape, pedophilia, incest, non or dub con, anything hateful/offensive
➳ sexual content will only be allowed to 18+ writers, you may not do so if you're underage. no smut for jisung, only suggestive content for Chenle and Sungchan
➳ reader and oc's only, no member/member
➳ reader needs to be inclusive (do not specify their features)
minimum word count: 1k

this is an ot23 NCT writing collab

haechan; fluff
Sunlight or moonlight, Haechan thought you were beautiful in every moment of the day.
Hair messy and spirited eyes, running towards his car in the morning to get to class, "oh my God, I'm so sorry, I didn't hear the alarm", half of your shirt tucked in and half of it out, slippers on your feet instead of shoes, you were his whole universe.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go!" you would blink at his smiling face.
"Ahem," he would indicate your nude toes making you widen your eyes.
"Oh my God!!" and you were out of the car already, running cutely inside the house.
Or in the late morning, your face scrunched up in a concentrated expression, the tip of your tongue mindlessly pocking out of your pouty mouth. Haechan would stare at you amused instead of doing any work, a little chuckle warming up his chest as he touched the little line between your eyebrows with one finger. "You'll get wrinkles."
"And gray hair by the time we graduate. I don't understand absolutely anything!"
Haechan would have kissed you, right in that moment, in front of everyone, holding you tight until squeezing all of the love he felt inside.
"Let me see," he pulled the notes towards him instead, indulging only in your body warmth as you got closer to him.
Or later in the afternoon, the clouds floating in the sky and the breeze caressing your skin. Haechan felt like dreaming as you let him rest his head on your lap. Whether you were with him or not, you would be running inside his mind every moment and every time the boy would tighten his fists, nervously trying to open his mouth, the confession lingering on his lips, before changing his mind and keep it closed.
His heart, swelling multiple times during the day, would reach the maximum capacity at night.
Tired eyes and lazy smiles, he wanted to hold you through the darkness until the rays of sun would illuminate your face again. He hated to see you greet him goodbye and leave his car.
That day he felt dizzier than most days. It was the perfect opportunity to let himself go.
"There's something I have to tell you."
"Yeah?" you took your bag from the car floor and put it on your lap, ready to leave.
He palmed the sterring wheel for a moment then placed his hands on his thighs as if trying to wipe off any sweat forming.
"Uh..." he was about to back up, but then he looked at your face and he broke.
"I love you."
Your expression mirrored his perplexed one, yours because of the bluntness of his words, and his because he couldn't believe he actually said it.
"I know, silly," you smiled sweetly after a few seconds. "I love you too."
And for Haechan time stopped, his eyes trained on your fanning eyelashes, your voice so close yet so tiny.
"You're so cute," he breathed out and you chuckled shyly.
A small shift and your fingers were under his chin, pulling him towards you slowly and kissing his plump lips.
"You are cute."
Almost panting and with trembling limbs Haechan grabbed your wrists as you whispered good night against his cheek.
"No, no, wait. You're not going away now."
And so you stayed tightly wrapped between his arms and lips occupied the whole night.
The moon caressed your loving expression and even though Haechan already knew it, he was still surprised.
Sunlight or moonlight, you were beautiful in every moment of the day.

A.N: A couple of days ago I finally got all of the trophies of Detroit: Become human, and it got me thinking about a few things....

Imagine detective!reader with android!Mark, who's assigned as her partner. Like Connor in the game, he's sent there to help you investigate deviants: androids that deviated from their original program, showing signs of empathy and of human emotions.
Android!Mark at first was just that, an android, a machine designed to accomplish a task. But as more deviants cases start coming in, and the more you two investigate and spend time together to try and understand what exactly causes deviancy, Mark starts having thoughts that aren't originally in his program... thoughts that would make him feel ashamed if he could feel that emotion.
He was supposed to learn only about deviancy, but thanks to you he also learned what being human means, making him question his mission and his entire existence.
Was it so wrong that instead of the case file in your hands, he couldn't help but stare at your lips instead? Or how he started to find amusing how flustered you got every time you saw him lick evidence from his fingers to analize it, making him want to do it even when it wasn't necessary.
Mark, the state-of-the-art prototype and humanity's only hope to stop deviants from starting a revolution...became a deviant itself? Isn't it ironic?

Hey, so I saw this only now and...well I'll have to remind you that Mark is a '99 liner, and someone like 5yrs younger would be a '04... I'm not really comfortable writing about a relationship between an adult and a minor, sorry.
Like, don't get me wrong, I think that love is love, and age doesn't matter. I too had once a boyfriend 5 years older than me, but that goes....until a certain degree. If you asked me something like that for Taeil for example, that would've been fine by me. But an adult and a minor... I hope you understand.
I'll consider writing in the future something with a girl a couple years or something younger tho.
