Covers for Lost Light 7, 8, and 10. Issue 8 was posted as the cover to LL Vol 2, so I’m not sure if it’s used for that AND issue 8 or just that, but it was done for issue 8. It’s been a long time, tumblr <3. I emerge from my dark hole to post a preview of a new Bloodborne comic. These are the first six pages of what will be a 15+ page short story about our dear Hunter. 

Written together with a dear friend, we’re offering this full comic, the 5 page Gascoigne comic that I had posted before, and 10 pages of Bloodborne illustrations and sketches, including several I’ve never posted before online in this 30 page Bloodborne zine that is now available for preorder. 

Over the next couple days I’ll be posting more artwork that will be featured in the book. I hope you enjoy!

Pre-Order ECHOES of BLOOD

The cover and first 3 pages to the ROM vs Transformers: Shining Armor series by IDW Publishing that I’m currently working on. It’s a fun project to work on that pretty much gives me the opportunity to draw almost everything I like to draw.  It’s very Sci-fi/horror mixed with a lot of other great Sci-fi elements in there. I don’t want to go into too much detail about the book right now since the 1st issue of the mini won’t be out until July, but I think a lot of people will enjoy it.  If I can quote Deadpool for a moment I’m putting maximum effort into this project. Another great thing about this project is I get to work with Josh Perez http://dyemooch.tumblr.com/ again which is great since we haven’t worked on interiors for a who book in a long time.  His work is always top notch in my books and bring a very 80′s-90′s anime movie quality to the colors while also making them feel modern :) So I hope you will check out this book when it comes out and I will try to make updates about it when I can Until then, Enjoy the preview pages for it :) ROM vs Transformers: Shining Armor  Written by John Barber and Christos Gage.  Line art by me (Alex Milne) Colors by Josh Perez

Just wanted to shove some TFA stuff I’ve done into a post because this year is the 10th anniversary of TFA c:

What is your opinion of 3rd party companies like Mastermind Creations using your designs for their figures? Would you prefer that Hasbro make a toy of Tarn, or are you satisfied with Kultur?

I’m fine with Mastermind using them.  I’d be fine if Hasbro made them.  I just want toys of them so I’m satisfied either way.

Here are some of my favourite pages from Transformers: Optimus Prime issue 4 that I worked on.  Anything with the Junkions and Sharkticons is gold IMO :p Also a lot of fun to draw characters I normally don’t get to work on. Enjoy

3 of my covers for the New Voltron: From the Ashes comic by Dynamite Entertainment.  These are issues 1-3 covers. The series is 6 issues in total which I will be doing the covers for.

It’s been great fun to work on these covers.  I grew up watching Voltron and getting a chance to provide artwork for another property I grew up on is amazing.  Now I’ll have to see if there are any other licensed comic I can draw covers for from Cartoon I use to watch as a kid ;)

The colours were done by none other then the Amazing Josh Perez aka dyemooch.  I always enjoy working with him and he’s done a great job on these covers thus far.  I can’t wait to see what he does with the next 3 :)

Will it be possible to order the sketchbook once AutoAssembly's over? I won't be attending but I'd love to get hold of one.

Not at the moment.  It’s a very small print run right now because I wasn’t sure how the book would turn out.  After AA I will see how it did and see about making more for those who can’t attend the conventions I’m at :)

So I just got the printer proofs for my 2015 Sketchbook.  They gave me an option of perfect bond or saddle stitched.  I decided to go with the saddle stitched due to the center of the book has an image that spreads across the 2 pages and you can see it better with this printing method :)

I’m pretty pleased with how it’s turned out.  At first I wasn’t sure it would all work out since the printers I went to at one point couldn’t do this kind of work.  I find out each time I go there now that they can do more and more and I possibly don’t need to travel around to different places now to get stuff printed.

The book is 48 pages: Size: 8.5 x 8.5 24 pages of Colour 24 pages of Black and White 1 sketch page insert for a custom sketch if requested.

Now that this is done I’m thinking about how I will approach the next sketchbook.  I have many fun ideas for future books.

So these are being printed now and I should have them for Auto Assembly.

I’m excited to see the large batch of them printed.

Sorry for the lighting in the photo. I don’t currently have a set up for taking good photo’s right now.  it’s something I’m going to change when I get the chance.

Here are a few of the TFcon Toronto 2015 commissions I did. These were all pre-orders I did so I got to spend a bit more time on them. I enjoyed the way all of these turned out.  My fav has to be the Tarn one since he’s one of my favourite characters I have designed in MTMTE.  I Also really like the Misfire and the Daft Punk one.  Each of these commissions gave me something new to try out with the way I did them and I happy with the results.
