there's this woman from the United States that has to be the most I don't even know what person ever. like fine girl, love and like your country, but your reaching.
'if they want to start making everything electric, why don't we start with the border wall' may I beg your finest pardon, lady. may. I.
the actual fuck is wrong with people.
she's also transphobic, homophobic. (she's anti everything that's not purely "american" and fits her ideology) she commented on a ig post that all you need to avoid skin cancer is 'stop wearing sunglasses, eat healthy, drink water, wear a hat instead of sunscreen' excuse me??? I will not engage on the sunscreen part, just fyi. yes, having a healthy life decreases the chances of getting any sort of cancer. key word decreases. you cannot avoid fucking cancer, ma'am. and sure! drinking water obviously stops your body from developing a melanoma. yup.
istg some people make my brain hurt. let's be honest, some instagram users are so fucking stupid it makes me want to cry.
on a scale from 1 to 10 how crazy and impulsive would be to buy a ticket to Italy after even my fucking aunt that lives in the other side of the country (using Milan as a point of reference) tried LEC and my whole family has sent me their own personal review?
hot question. like a hot take but Idk if this shit exists. y'all know what I mean
does every ounce of criticism about any some certain f1 driver has a way to come out bad?
let me elaborate. if you criticise LH, Yuki or Zhou you could get called a racist. same thing with checo, but it can also be related to xenophobia. and I can bet my hat, that if any driver that joined f1 or is already there ever decides to come out as someone of the LGTBIQ+ community the word could be homophobic.
I'm not saying it doesn't exist. sadly, it does, and it should be taken with the seriousness that it requires. but some people jump straight into conclusions when it comes to some of them, and it has nothing with an offensive tone, just because someone decided to critise this person. but I just don't understand why.
Idk if this question might feel as one coming from a "priviledge position" but I was reading some comments about the incidents regarding the chinese gp (holy shit that was chaos) and some people have interesting reactions towards criticism. so I just thought I could ask why is that, to attack this critics, such strong and sensitive arguments are used. when the critic has none to do with it.
an example I saw on a comment section:
x: he is not as a good driver as he was.
y: you're saying that only because he's mexican. what a xenophobic/racist take.
is my question clear or do I sound like a crazy clown?
not nico rosberg comparing carlos sainz and charles leclerc's on track moves with his and lewis' moves back in the day - is he aware the ferrari girls are in shambles and disarray right now ? does he know we don't want charles and carlos to end up like them ???
Genuinely love that Charles and Carlos have already telepathically talked this out and apologized/forgiven each other and said they’ll be fine but this is going to be A Narrative ™️ in the F1 fandom for the next 10-12 business days and probably the rest of the year.
"Carlos is such a dirty racer, oh my gawd, he shouldn't fight like that"
Girl, you're going to suffer SO MUCH next year with Lewis Hamilton. That man is one of the DIRTIEST drivers I've ever seen in today's grid. Not because he's a bad racer but because he's an OLD SCHOOL driver, he's from the era where fights could happen on the grass or drivers could be pushed back to the track after being stuck in the gravel with the stewards' help.
