I apologize for no longer being active on Tumblr (I am more active on Twitter these days), but it would feel wrong not to post my annual summary here. This should give you an idea of what I’ve been reading, playing, and seeing this year. There’s definitely a stronger focus on webcomics than usual, and I like that.
The template is a bit bigger this year, making it easier to fit stuff in. I again primarily used MS Paint to build this thing, with a bit of help from Gimp for March and December.

Users of 4chan are planning to primarily tape up grotesque images all across Dashcon on Saturday afternoon in an attempt to trigger con-goers unless they are paid $17,000 in bitcoin by 7/12/2014 12:00pm central time.
I have gathered this information from /b/ and /pol/ while under a 4chan Gold account, where posts can be made private, inaccessible to anyone without a gold account. They started planning this upon hearing about the Dashcon hotel scam, where the Dashcon Tumblr asked for $17,000 to pay the hotel to avoid getting the con-goers kicked out of the hotel.
I would recommend anyone and everyone avoid the con after noon Saturday to avoid seeing these pictures and other harassment 4chan may be planning.

I do this thing where if i have to go to a family event where I will be expected to be a girl I pretend I am a SPY and I am IN DISGUISE AS A TEEN GIRL and my mission is to EXTRACT INFORMATION FROM MY GRANDPARENTS without giving away my real identity. works every time.
your dress and makeup is now a DISGUISE
your ‘birth name’ is now an ALIAS
getting told by your parents to be nice and not yell at anyone being racist is MISSION BRIEFING
your entire extended family are now FOREIGN DIGNITARIES and you gotta make it thru the evening without being discovered as a RADICAL SPY
carrying a small water pistol and one of those fake-lipstick pens in your purse helps to get in the zone. the best part of being a spy is the nifty gadgets everyone knows that.
BONUS if you have to bring a friend of another gender with you to pretend to be your boyfriend. you are both PARTNER SPIES and one of you has to be the cranky but soft-hearted veteran and the other has to be the endearingly-assholeish rookie.
