Apparently there’s a monster in that lake. ‘Old Ned,’ they call him, and sightings go back into local indigenous folklore. My grandfather claimed to have seen it as a boy, serpent-like and scaly and swimming very quickly across the lake. You can well imagine that hearing that story, the imagination of six-year-old me latched in to what that must have been like for my grandfather’s 10-year-old self back in the Canadian. cryptozoologist Norma Stuart discovered that sightings appear in cycles every three to five years and she suggests it may be a breeding or feeding cycle.
Tumblr media
On August 6th 1867, an “Old Ned” specimen was killed off the Passamaquoddy Bay. It was a serpentine animal with a whale-like head, dorsal fin, and horizontal tail. This feature is unique to mammals. It was covered in short, shaggy fur like a buffalo robe.

Friendship Are The True Kinds Of Magic
Please don't repost, Reblog is ok!

It would be so cute if Cream and Cheese met Kitsunami and became friends! With her showing kindness towards him causes Kit to have a shy puppy-love for her.
But knowing Kit with his unhealthy mental situation, He easily gets jealous and protective towards Cream to a point becoming yandere. Especially when her friend Tails around... Oh boy.😨
Update: Recently the Sonic Idw artist on Tumblr says Kit is probably older than Tails!?😳 I thought he was around 7 years old, Well my ship sank...well Kit and Cream are just friends in my fanart anyway just Kit is a little obsessed and protective (very protective) to her because of the mess up experiment Starline did to him and Surge.
Oh well ✨FRIENDSHIP✨ I will still draw them together in future sonic related fanart this time Kit be like a protective older brother for Cream! I hope they meet in the idw comic and become friends!😄

Big Muddy Monster
Murphysboro, Illinois
“Murphysboro, Illinois, (near Southern Illinois University-Carbondale) has repeated sightings (and smellings) of the Big Muddy Monster. Many believe it may be related to (if not the same as) the Creve Coeur Monster, sighted near the St. Louis suburb. This is an animal often likened to Sasquatch in size and appearance, but with a distinct ‘skunky’ smell. Those who believe the two cryptids are the same surmise that the animal swam down the Big Muddy River in Murphysboro to the Mississippi River and, thence, north to the Missouri River, by which it swam to a bend in the river near Creve Coeur.” — flashgourd

Wide EXEGGUTOR (Grass/Dark)
Second wide regional variant inspired by Bromojumbo's work on twitter
This EXEGGUTOR form is based on the Baobab tree from Madagascar mixed with the "Man-eater tree" legend, also from Madagascar. Its longer faces are based on the seed pods from the Baobab tree and the gaping mouth in its center is a referece to holes found on baobab trees, this are usually made by people to use the baobab for shelter, but can be done also by some animals, like elephants.
