Caleb, Frank, and Rin with a loving S/O who gives their all for them!
Caleb
Due to the time period he seemed to come from, Caleb is no doubt a bit… old fashioned. To a point that at first, he may actually have a bit of difficulty in allowing his s/o to care for him.
Unconditional love? That’s great! He loves it. Being cared for though would be a little hard for him to grasp.
He certainly wouldn’t be a jerk about it, at the very least. It’d be obvious in how he hesitates at times if he was uncomfortable or unsure - but he’d never belittle you or get defensive or angry. He wouldn’t really have it in him to raise his voice at you, especially over you simply wanting to be helpful.
You may need to explain things to him and give him a bit of time to adjust to it. Even if not for the different time periods clashing with his view, he had been sold out and betrayed in the past. Of course, that would also make the adjustment time a bit more difficult.
Eventually though, he’d start to open up more. He’d ask you to help with smaller things, at first. Maybe just fetching a tool for him, holding something for him while he works, etc.
The love though, that he can get behind almost immediately. At first he may be cautious even with the longer buildup that no doubt had to happen first for the relationship to even begin, if only due to his past, but other than that he wouldn’t be afraid to accept your feelings in their entirety.
Of course, expect him to return it tenfold. He may not necessarily be one for PDA all the time (except in certain cases), but when I say old fashioned I mean in more than a few ways. He will bring you gifts whenever he can, he will take you out on dates (even if it’s just walks around various places in the realm), he will sit down and have drinks with you, etc.
Basically, if you give your all for him and show him so much love, the favor will certainly be returned. It will never be a one way street when it comes to a relationship with Caleb.
Frank
Frank is a nerd and don’t let anyone tell you otherwise, especially not him.
You try and give your all for him? He will do his best to make it a competition and outdo you.
Of course that won’t be in a toxic way - it’s not like he’ll ignore your affections or brush them off like they’re nothing in comparison to what he brings to the table. No, he’ll just see it as “Well, I can make them just as happy, if not more! Just watch!” You know him, he’s always gotta prove something.
He’s a tough guy, so PDA won’t be his thing really - he has a reputation (in his own mind) to uphold, after all. Even so, there won’t be much stopping you from showing your love to him, even in front of the rest of his group.
At most, he might let out a sigh or gently push you away if it’s in front of them, but it’s obvious how halfhearted it is to everyone in the room. No doubt by then, you’d know too.
In private, he'd be a lot more affectionate, believe it or not. He loves to bury his face in your neck and murmur against your skin, talking about anything that comes to his mind. He likes to trail his fingers over various areas of your body. Really, he just likes to touch you. He likes to feel you and know that you’re right there with him.
Of course, that just means he’d get used to your attention and love and the energy you put into the relationship. If he has to go without you for too long, he’d actually start to get antsy. He wouldn’t necessarily get anxious or anything, but he’d definitely be noticeably a bit off and distracted until you were with him again.
After a situation like that, you can finally expect a bit of PDA from him. Nothing too out there or too sappy, but he’ll definitely hold you in his lap and rest his chin on your head or shoulder, or hold your hand and trail his thumb in random patterns over your skin.
Rin
Please, give her all the love and attention she deserves.
She would be so damn touched, seeing how much love and care you want to give her. She would be able to smile much more around you - something that not just anyone can get from her. She still feels anger from the past, and rightfully so - but you bring out so much more from her. So much more positivity.
After the heartbreak and betrayal and downright emotional torture she went through before she came to this realm, she found it hard to believe she could receive such a genuine sense of security in any relationship. She barely had that with her family before things got bad, so why would she expect different from someone not bound by blood?
Of course, you would change her perception of that. It would be slow going, sure, but eventually she’d open up more to you. You’d see something other than anger or distrust in those eyes - you’d start to see pain. You’d see loneliness. Eventually though, you’d see trust. Happiness. Adoration. Love.
PDA will not bother her in the slightest. She would be happy showing the depths of her love, once she begins to feel comfortable with you. She’ll hold your hand as much as she can - your skin always so warm in comparison to hers. She’ll follow you around as much as she can so long as it doesn’t bother you, too.
Also, don’t be surprised if she wants to nuzzle up with you often. She’ll be careful of course - those shards of glass would not be comfortable if she wasn’t careful. She’ll be so careful with you, though, you really don’t need to worry about that too much.
She’ll want to care for you as well! If you visit the estate, don’t be surprised if she always seems to have tea waiting for you, or even some snacks. She may not be able to enjoy them herself anymore, but that won’t stop her from happily watching you enjoy them. Time with you and your love is enjoyment enough, for Rin.

Hello, all!
So, as you’ve no doubt notice, I’ve been... absent. I may still be, for the most part. I would like to continue writing when I’m able to do so, but it will certainly be very sporadic and I may not get to every request in order of being sent. You can still ask me if I’ve gotten your request, if I post too many without posting yours - I won’t be bothered by letting you know! Unfortunately though, with how things have been... I need to pick and choose what I write as motivation is fleeting. I’ll put a bit more of an explanation under the cut as to why I’ve been gone so long, if you care to read it. If not, TL;DR: Mental illness sucks, but I’m doing my best.
Regardless, I love each and every one of you who have sent me request or continue to do so, as well as my followers for the support. I’ve gotten nice messages to save and look at when my mood is at it’s worst, and I love you all.
So, basically, the issue I’m having. I suffer from a few mental disorders - depression, anxiety, bipolar just to name a few. I’m on quite a few medications - most of which make me very tired if they even work. Thanks to the pandemic, I haven’t been able to get on the treatment I was going to be put on yet, as I can’t go to the clinic for obvious reasons. Everything, including my therapy, has been over the phone for the past 3-4 months.
This has made things... difficult. My medications barely work, even after upping the dosage on many of them. I’ve been sick thanks to constant stress and the depression, not to mention my job is “essential” despite it... really not being essential. So, I’ve also had to juggle work with the looming threat of getting even sicker along with the people I live with being in SERIOUS danger if I happen to catch anything.
Needless to say, it’s been hard. Most of my time has been spent zoning out, maybe listening to people talk on youtube without really watching anything, etc. I haven’t had any focus. I’m just sort of passing the days and hoping for the best. Time flies, and when it doesn’t, I’m miserable and unable to do anything anyway.
Please, don’t take this as me asking for pity. I absolutely am not asking for pity - all I want is to keep everyone updated as to why I’m so few and far between with posts. I truly want to do my best and make others happy - making people happy is my favorite thing. Unfortunately, sometimes I’m unable to do my best work, and I don’t want to half-ass anything either.
If you’ve read all this, thank you, and I do apologize once again. I appreciate the support more than anyone can imagine - this blog has helped me write far more than I have on my own in so long, and I’m grateful for the opportunity. Hopefully, I’ll be able to improve soon. I love you all.

Herman
Herman is a very… complicated man. A very curious, complicated man.
When he realizes he has a different type of feeling for you, he would become borderline obsessed with getting to the bottom of it all.
He’s certainly not naive about it - he knows full well when his emotions are different and what they could allude to. There’s no doubt he has had crushes in the past, when he was far younger, during a much different part of his life. They weren’t important now, but he was no stranger to them all the same.
He would pay much closer attention to you, both from a desire of seeing what may make you tick, as well as an attempt to see what it is exactly that made such feelings rise to the surface.
Don’t be surprised if this leads to a lot of teasing, especially if you happen to fluster easily. He would get a huge thrill over it and, admittedly, it would be both amusing and cute to him.
It would probably be difficult for you to realize he had begun to develop a crush on you, as his methods would be rather subtle in comparison to others who may act more on emotion than he does.
There would be some cues though, no matter how subtle. For instance, you would be one of the very few that wouldn’t manage to irritate him if you accidentally interrupted his work. At least, not in most cases.
You would also be allowed to see some of his various paperwork as he worked on it or finished it - an honor bestowed to practically no one else. Whether you would want to read the various articles he wrote or about any of his experiments in general is up for debate, though.
Now when it comes to confessing, it could go one of two ways. The first being if he couldn’t tell how you felt.
If he couldn’t tell if you felt similarly, he would be extremely blunt and matter-of-fact. He would simply tell you how it was - he had developed feelings for you. There would be no shyness or shame in his tone. There never really was, with Herman Carter.
If he could tell you did have similar feelings though… it would be far different. Sure, he would still confess, but in a much more roundabout way.
Now, don’t confuse ‘roundabout’ for shy. Roundabout for him is just downright toying.
He would poke and prod at you for any scrap of information that he could. He would drop a few more hints to get you thinking, to get you flustered if he could manage to do so. He wouldn’t be him without trying to make someone squirm just a bit, right?
Only when he was satisfied with teasing you would he finally just come out with it. You would then realize that he obviously knew how you felt as well.
“You aren’t as subtle as you may think, my dear.”
After confessions, expect him to be a bit more watchful of you. Even he didn’t expect someone to invoke feelings in him, nor return said feelings should they arise. At least, not how he was now. Expect him to insist on patching you up after trials, too.
Evan
Evan would have a very difficult time with his emotions, especially when they were positive emotions.
His whole childhood was layer upon layer of abuse, betrayal, and abandonment. Every time he felt something positive, it never seemed to last long before seemingly being torn away from him.
Truly, he was raised with fear, and to respect above all else. Love had been far gone from the equation.
So needless to say when he starts to realize he’s formed feelings for someone, he will panic. It won’t necessarily be visible panic, but he’d have an extremely hard time coping and coming to terms with the entire situation.
Expect him to isolate for a while. He won’t necessarily shove you away if you try to visit and talk with him, but he also won’t really be subtle about trying to avoid you for a bit. Thankfully, it won’t just be you that he avoids, but just about everyone. It’ll be obvious in that way he doesn’t have an issue with you, at the very least - he’s just struggling.
You can try as much as you want to pry information out of him - even though you have the best intentions, he won’t budge. All he’ll do is insist that he’s fine, he’s just busy, or needs to focus, etc.
Eventually though, he will come to terms with it. The idea will still stress him and make him extremely tense - how could it not? If love ever existed in the eyes of his father to him, or even to his mother, it was not a safe love. It wasn’t the warm love to be expected in any relationship. How could he even think of entering a relationship with you when he had no clue how to keep you from the same pain?
He’s an adult though, and even if it was difficult, eventually he would sit you down and come out with it. He’d tell you everything - his feelings for you, his fears on moving forward. Surprisingly, even for a man that seems so tough and pulled together, he wouldn’t be able to keep eye contact for very long. It was as if his mind was swarming, and had been for a long while.
It would take you confessing to pull his attention back, and before he can even begin to voice his concerns again, you’d have to tell him that it would be fine. He wasn’t his father. Even if his experiences weren’t the best, you both could learn and grow together.
It would be slow going, at first. Being with Evan would mean having to deal with a bit of distance at first as he learns the ins and outs of a relationship. You would know he cares, though, as protective as he’d grow.
One thing he learned from his father may have been how to kill and to conquer, but in this case he vowed to be nothing like his father. You were precious. You were worth disobeying his father and giving up everything he had been taught for.

Thank you for checking in!
The answer is... yes and no. I won’t exactly go into why no, as it’s very personal and honestly, I’m not sure I’m prepared to put the proverbial skeletons in the closet on display. Honestly that’s probably not even the right term since I doubt the info would make me look bad, but I also don’t exactly... want pity, either.
To keep it short, I’m just dealing with a very bad situation that’s wearing me me down very, very heavily and to a very, very bad boiling point. Thanks to it, I have very little energy for anything, let alone writing for horror. Even though a huge majority is fluff, I just... don’t have the mental capacity to write at this point in time.
I truly do apologize if I worried anyone or if I’m taking far too long so early in my blog’s life, but please know the blog certainly isn’t abandoned. I just don’t want to force myself to write when it wouldn’t be my best work.

The Legion (Frank, Julie, Susie, Joey) with a soft female survivor s/o!
Frank
Frank isn’t much for being soft himself, but having a soft girlfriend? He’s just fine with that.
You being a survivor means you’re even softer in his mind, which is an added bonus.
He’d be pretty protective of you - it almost comes off as territorial, even. Outside of trials he always comes to bring you up to Ormond to spend time with him and the rest of his group. He likes to keep his eye on you.
He says that but really, he does enjoy having you near too. It makes him feel tough, in a way.
He will also be a huge show off. He’ll even act tougher just to get you to be impressed with him. He’s very needy for attention and approval whether he says so or not.
You being softer though makes him want to try harder for you. It’s about as soft as he can get - the idea of improving himself in whatever ways he can strictly for you is sort of romantic, coming from him. Or at least, as romantic as it can be.
If you get along with the rest of his group, he’d be ecstatic. He may not say it but it’d be obvious in his eyes and even in his smile how glad he is that you and them get along. He likes knowing he doesn’t have to try and juggle, and plus it helps them keep an eye on you as well.
He’d still mess with you during trials, but more than likely you’d get away with only a hook or two. If your teammates don’t come and save you, well… They better hope they come and save you. You’re more precious to him than he lets on.
Julie
Julie loves how soft you are. It actually makes her very happy to be the tough one in the relationship.
You’re the one she won’t be tough on though, surprisingly. She can be tough with the guys but, like with Susie, she’s very gentle with you. Odds are she’d never want to raise her voice at you and if she ever did, she wouldn’t make you wait for an apology.
Of course, she figures you’re able to take care of yourself. She’s seen you in trials - but that doesn’t mean she’ll treat you how she would the guys. She doesn’t mean it to be insulting, and it would never even come off as patronizing from her. She just loves to look after you.
She’s very protective of your personality. If anyone picked on you or tried to “toughen you up”, even one of the other members of the Legion, she would have something to say about it, and she’s not afraid to back up her bark with her bite. She never wants you to lose that soft nature of yours.
If you were the one to insist on wanting to toughen up, she would help you herself and only when she was assured it was for your sake and no one else’s. Even then, she would treat the situation carefully.
She’s a very motherly girlfriend. Like mother bear motherly. If anything ever bothers you and you tell her, you’ll be damn sure she’ll take care of it with an iron fist. She isn’t afraid to show her love with action along with words. You’re hers, and she will take very good care of you.
Susie
Susie is very soft herself, so you can bet she’d love how soft you are. It would definitely help her to feel more relaxed and comfortable.
Of course, she has toughened up a bit ever since she met Frank with the other two, but she is still the softest of the bunch without a doubt. It would show in her interactions with you, too.
She would love to cuddle, whether she’s the little spoon or you are. Her favorite thing is to hold or be held (or both!) and just quietly talk about anything while listening to music. She’s a lot shyer than the other members, so she does a lot better in private with you.
Of course, she is still a killer, and one who no doubt has much more of the Entity’s influence in her than some of the other killers. If she sees anyone mess with you during a trial - sabotaging you, trying to give you away to escape for themselves, etc, you can bet she will feel a fury she has never quite felt before.
Needless to say, they would have been so much better off treating you like a teammate and not a scapegoat.
Out of all four, she’s the most likely to let you escape trials completely unscathed. She can’t 100% of the time, but she will as often as she can. Your screams of pain hurt her immensely.
Expect a LOT of love after trials, regardless of the outcome. Lots of hair pets, gentle kisses all over your face, etc. Sometimes she gets teary-eyed over how much she cherishes you, even. You’re as important to her as the rest of the Legion is, her family, if not more.
Joey
Oh boy, this boy will flaunt everything about himself and you. Think peacock, but even more intense.
He knows you’re soft, so what does he do? Show off how perfect he is for you by being not soft.
(Spoiler warning, he’s actually insanely soft but just in private.)
When you two are alone, expect to be in his lap in bed, being rocked back and forth as you lean back against his chest, and him unable to help the grin on his face or the giggles escaping his chest. He can’t help but be absolutely giddy with you.
Even in trials he’ll sometimes goof off with you, going into Frenzy and just vaulting through windows in your view. He wants you to see how athletic he is, and though you can’t see behind his mask you can just tell he’s grinning from ear to ear.
Outside trials, he follows you like a lost puppy. He isn’t afraid to tell you why - he wants to make sure no one messes with you, not even the rest of the Legion. He knows the girls wouldn’t, but Frank? That boy is a wild card. Joey loves the guy and they build off each other, but that doesn’t mean he wants to give Frank the room to mess with you.
Expect Joey to be very playful with you. He has arguably the most energy of anyone in the Legion, so expect a lot of that energy to show with you. Whether it’s showing off or even things you may not expect from a killer like a tickle fight just to see you rolling around and laughing under him, he will be all over you all the time.
If you fluster easy too, expect to be flustered a lot. A lot of pet names quietly exchanged when no one else will hear or soft compliments.

First angst ask, I’m ready.
Danny, Jake, Max, and Dwight with an s/o suspected of cheating
Danny
It took a long time for Danny to even consider dating his s/o. Not only would that leave him vulnerable, it could very well make him make mistakes, especially if we assume his s/o is a survivor.
So when he did decide to let himself admit his feelings, regardless of how much he may have joked about them, that meant a lot.
Of course in saying that, with someone like him there would be a bit of an… obsession. He would have some extreme trust issues, though in a somewhat more possessive way than a simple ‘worry’. If he overhears a conversation and misinterprets it… there will be trouble.
He wouldn’t harm his s/o by any means - at least not outside trials. He knows the rules. He will definitely be colder though, occasionally cracking jokes insinuating what he thinks he knows.
In trials he might be a little less merciless as a tactic to blow off steam.
It would have to be you to confront him about why he’s acting so much colder than usual. He has way too much of an ego to do more than insinuate and wait for you to come to your own conclusions.
When you do confront him, don’t be surprised if you get some ominous replies at first. “You know what’s wrong.” “Don’t play stupid with me.” etc
When you finally get it or blow up at him and make him explain, it would take a lot of convincing to get him to believe you. It can be done, however, and once he does believe you… it’ll take him even longer to apologize.
He probably hates admitting how wrong he was, so his apologies are… subtle. For someone like him though, even subtle apologies mean something, at least.
Expect him to be a lot clingier after you’ve made up with him, at least for a little while. He has plenty of lost time to make up for and he’ll be damned if he doesn’t take that chance. (Not to mention, he needs to make it known you belong to him.)
Jake
Jake isn’t quite as impulsive, so it’d be a bit harder for him to misinterpret something.
Then again, he isn’t quite used to being social, so it wouldn’t be extremely hard to do, either.
So, when he does misunderstand a situation, it probably… breaks his heart, a bit. It’s difficult for him to open up, though for different reasons than Danny obviously. He’d feel a bit betrayed, but he’d still hope he was wrong.
Even so, jealousy and fear can be cruel. He’d inadvertently start distancing himself as he tries to cope, tries to understand what’s happening. It would be painfully obvious, even if it isn’t to him.
You could try to coax him to talk to you, but he’d just quietly insist that he was fine, he just had a lot to think about. The more you push, the more he’d close up.
Eventually, he’d approach you and ask to talk alone. His tone would be worrying so you’d of course take him up on it.
When he explains his fears and suspicions, you’d feel your heart drop. You’d have to explain, in detail, what was actually going on to help soothe his mind. He’d be willing to trust you, as long as you didn’t beat around the bush while explaining.
Once his mind was calmer about the situation, he’d still be a bit distant for a bit, though less out of fear and more out of realizing his error. He’d know it was him in the wrong, and he definitely wouldn’t want to just pretend he didn’t just accuse you of something like that.
When he comes back to you, he’ll apologize, quietly. He’s not subtle with the apology, but he is a bit awkward due to some lack of experience in the situation. He’d do his best though. Expect him to take extra good care of you for a little while after to make up for it.
Max
Oof, Max. He’s smarter than he lets off, but at the same time he never really experienced a healthy love. This relationship was the first, for him.
Needless to say, if he suspects his s/o of cheating, he will be… very upset.
He’s also a lot harder to approach about it because of his anger issues.
He won’t take it out on you, though. No, he’d take it out on whoever he thought was trying to take you away from him. If that’s a survivor, then during trials he will be absolutely brutal.
Once you are able to approach him (after a few trials of him taking it out on the other person, perhaps), it’d be harder to understand why he was so upset. Judging by his breathing, it’d probably be a bit different for him to speak properly if at all.
Once you understand and can explain the situation to him, his mood takes a quick 180, surprisingly.
Like, he will go from moping and angry to following you around again like a lost puppy in no time.
He’ll still probably dislike the person he suspected for a while, though. You’d have to convince him to go easier on them.
Expect him to be a bit protective for a little while after, and lots of PDA even if it’s only hand holding or something like that. He’d need the affection.
Dwight
This boy would be absolutely heartbroken.
He’d want to believe you would never do something like this, but he’s been left in the dust so often that his confidence would just plummet if he thought you were cheating on him.
He wouldn’t seem like himself, completely downcast even despite the little smile he’d try to show off when others were looking. When he thought he was alone though, he’d be downright miserable.
If you confronted him, he’d admit right away what was wrong. Sure, he might beat around the bush a little to try and sugarcoat it, but… he wouldn’t push you away, despite whatever guilt he felt.
Please, try not to yell at him for his mistake. His self esteem is frail, and he’ll be the first to apologize when he knows how wrong he is. Sometimes, his fears just get the best (or rather, worst) of him.
When he knows the truth, he will apologize, a lot. In as many ways as he possibly can. He wants to make it up to you for suspecting you of something so terrible, even despite knowing you’re better than that deep down.
He will take more hits for you, he will find the best items he can for you, all in the hopes of beginning to make it up to you.
Please, tell him to calm down and have him just cuddle with you and hold you. He needs that physical intimacy to try and feel better. He missed you, and he wants to prove how much he cherishes you.

Caleb Quinn with a quiet s/o who also plays piano!
Caleb Quinn was never one to beat around the bush. He never felt the need to bottle his emotions, and the Entity’s influence on that certainly made him far more straightforward than ever before. So he would be the first to admit when a trial had set something off in him, regardless of the reasons. He usually did feel a bit more rough around the edges when his trials took place somewhere else in the realm, and today was simply no exception. The longer walk back just made it harder to relax for a short while, in his mind.
At this point, he wanted nothing more than to get back to the saloon, clean up his gun to avoid it being damaged in the long term, and maybe pour a drink or two for himself. He didn’t usually have company after all - most survivors tended to avoid him in fact. He didn’t mind it too much, though. He did have one faithful companion, after all.
Of course, the likelihood of them showing up while he was out seemed slim to none, and so he pushed that thought to the back of his mind for the time being and instead focused on the walk home. He had plenty on his mind to occupy himself, at the very least. Enough in fact that when he arrived, he barely registered the sound until he got closer.
As he got closer to the saloon though, it began to hit him. The piano. He stopped in his tracks as he listened for the moment, trying to think of why it was being played. No one was around, right? At least, no one should be, and he doubted that the Entity had a sense of humor enough to “haunt” him in such a way.
He gripped onto his gun just a bit tighter, though less out of fear and more out of pure instinct. Nothing in this realm could truly harm him, so he doubted he’d have any need to use it outside of a trial. Still, if anyone was trespassing to mess with him, he’d have no issue in a warning shot to get them out.
For some reason, he didn’t even consider what he saw being an option. You, sitting quietly on the bench as you played. You didn’t seem to react to his presence yet, so he assumed you hadn’t heard him arrive. He walked further into the saloon, staying as quiet as his heavy boots would allow. He was thankful you seemed to be very into your music, as it allowed him to take a seat of his own and just watch you play.
He spoke no word to you just yet, leaving you none the wiser. As your fingers danced over the keys, he found himself relaxing a bit more than he realized he would. The music you played truly was beautiful, though he rarely got to hear it from you. At least not in this way - where you believed it was just you and the music alone. A passionate thing to behold.
As the music came to an end, he actually couldn’t help but feel a vague sense of disappointment deep inside him. He found himself wishing that he had shown up just a bit sooner. He didn’t want the peace he had begun to feel to end quite yet, though he decided not to dwell on that too much for the moment. After all, if you were here you must have been waiting for him. So why keep you waiting any longer?
As you let out a soft breath, stretching yourself out a bit after having been sitting still for so long, he decided to speak.
“Well, darlin’, beautiful as ever.”
He chuckled softly at your startled jolt and squeak, watching as you turned to face him with a faint blush dusting your cheeks. He stood then to wander over to you, the only sound in the saloon now the heavy footfall of his boots. When he found himself beside you, he took off his hat and placed it on your head, tipping it down in front of your eyes ever so slightly. One of the closer things to a playful gesture that he often liked to do with you.
As you fumbled to situate the hat so you could see properly, he hummed to himself and went back over to the bar to pour that drink he had so badly wanted. Only once you had fixed the hat and looked up at him with what he often described as your doe eyes did his low, honey sweet drawl meet your ears once more.
“How about you play some more for me, sweetheart? Can’t say I didn’t miss it.” He knew you were quiet more often than not, and that was just fine by him. He was on the quieter side himself, after all. Instead, he preferred to allow you to express yourself with your passions - and as you quietly agreed and began to play a new song, just for him, he decided that this little surprise was worth the trial that came before it.

Ace
As confident as Ace is, he truly has… no idea how this happened. Sure, he’s not complaining by any means, but that doesn’t mean he’s not kept up at night wondering how this could even happen.
Even so, he simply went with the flow and didn’t want to worry about it too much. He found you attractive and easy enough to talk to when you hadn’t been hunting him down in a trial, so why not see where this goes?
It gets to the point that he’ll crack jokes even during trials. If you give him the hatch he won’t let you live it down later, but he doesn’t get angry if you don’t either.
It’s a toss up how he reacts when you down him. Either he’ll struggle as normal to give you a run for your money, or despite the pain he’ll flirt. The first time he did that, it was enough to make you hesitate and let him get away.
You didn’t hear the end of that one until after the next trial, when he wound up getting scarified.
Despite how it sounds, your relationship is far from a toxic one. You hate to have to hunt him in trials even with the Entity’s tendrils blinding your mind in the chase, but he understands you have no choice. He’s a clever man, and he won’t hold grudges on you for it.
That doesn’t mean he doesn’t often ask for you to make up for it in some way, a smug little smirk on the edges of his lips.
Please pamper this man for a little bit, those hooks are brutal.
As often as he finds decent items in trials, he also likes to leave them for you if you let him escape. Sure, he knows that you have no use for them, but it’s the sentiment that counts right?
He’ll still act the cool, confident type with you. Sure, you could definitely kick his ass and he knows it, but he’s not afraid of you anymore. Dating him opened the door for him to act cocky even when he really shouldn’t be. Part of his charm though, really.
Dwight
Dwight was terrified of you, to put it nicely. Even outside of trials he couldn’t help but be a little put off at first. What did a killer want with him? Why were you so interested in him?
Sure, he grew into the role of blending in and grew to be a little worried about being completely in the spotlight at some point - but it was even worse when the spotlight was a killer’s.
To get with him as a killer, you might have to be a bit more… gentle. Of course that’s not to say you can’t do your job, but it’d be pretty hard to get him to stay calm and listen to your confession if he’s terrified.
The first time you give him the hatch, he’s still a bit spooked but he starts to put things together a bit. Killers didn’t just give survivors an escape in a majority of cases, so why did you?
He’d get curious. Even when he sought you out to ask you why after the trial, he’d be psyching himself out a bit. Curiosity killed the cat, he reminds himself.
Just be calm with him and explain the situation. If you beat around the bush too much you’d quickly come to realize he was just getting confused - once you were blunt with him, it was like a light bulb lit up.
A very hot light bulb. The blush on his face would be very obvious even as he tried to avert his gaze in hopes that you wouldn’t notice in the darkness of your realm. Oh, you noticed though. It was cute.
From there, if he noticed you trying to be careful with him in trials, he’d feel a bit… guilty. Sure, he appreciates not getting a hook shoved through his chest, but what was the cost to you? He highly doubted the Entity would be kind to you, if you “slacked off” for too long. So, he comforts you. He tells you it’ll be okay, and you can do as you need to.
He still gets the hatch pretty often, and you try to at least get the other three before you have to make that decision. If you manage to, you tend to spare him.
At some point, he eventually feels very safe with you despite you being a killer. Maybe it’s because you’re a killer and so much more powerful than he could ever be that he feels so safe and secure? Don’t be surprised if he visits as often as he can when you’re both free from trials.
Yui
Yui is tough. She certainly didn’t fear you outside of trials, and the “fear” she felt during trials, for lack of a better word, was better labeled as an intense surge of adrenaline to escape and to survive. The intensity that glinted in her eyes even as she was hooked was unmatched. Despite the pain, she had no qualms in showing just how tough she could be.
Perhaps that’s even what drew you in. One day, you found her wandering the fog. She had managed to find your realm, though she didn’t seem all that phased. When she saw you, she gave you a casual wave - the look in her eyes was still very much intense, but you could tell she didn’t hold any malice towards you. That was just who she was.
Of course, you invited her inside, even if it was just one of the shacks. The fog could be very cold, and without the adrenaline pumping through her veins it would get to her very easy, you knew. Surprisingly, she showed no hesitation in accepting the invite.
You two began to spend more time together, then. Only once in a while at first, but she eventually showed up more and more. You grew to enjoy each other’s company, and she often told you about the past whenever you asked. Your acceptance of her past hobbies and passions meant a lot to her.
It was actually her who confessed to you. She was straight to the point, and even during such an intimate moment, no fear showed in her eyes. No worry. Just a genuine sincerity that was so very her.
Of course, you accepted. Nothing changed between you two during trials - you tried to spare her, but her stubborn nature refused. If you caught up to her, you would continue just as you were meant to. If she escaped fair and square, that would be the only way she would escape. She wouldn’t take no for an answer.
Even after trials where she was sacrificed, she would show up back in your realm as if nothing had happened. The first time you had been petrified that she wouldn’t despite what she had told you - so when she did, your heart swelled with so much love and admiration. Honestly? She finds it very cute of you.

Dwight and Ash soft dating headcanons!
Dwight
Before you start dating Dwight, he is very nervous with you once he starts to realize how he feels about you.
Like, this boy is so used to being looked over and ignored, or things going wrong when he did try to bring some sort of attention to himself that he just thinks of the worst case scenario right away: why would you like him? There’s far more charismatic guys you would probably like instead.
Even so, he can’t get you out of his mind. He wants your attention, he can’t help but to be a little clingy or feel sad when he’s away from you even if one of you is in a trial without the other. He feels like he’s letting the chance slip through his fingers, but what is he supposed to do about it?
A lot of the survivors notice, but most don’t say anything for Dwight’s sake.
Ace notices too, though. He’s not quite as willing as the others to keep quiet over it. So, he starts to build Dwight up the best he can. He points out when your gaze is lingering too much to be just friendly. He points out how much brighter you seem with Dwight, etc.
Eventually, he pushes Dwight to take the next step and ask you out. It takes a couple days, but eventually he does work up the nerve.
It happens after a rough trial. A trial you both survived, sure, but rough nonetheless. He doesn’t even know what comes over him but he takes you aside and confesses to you right there.
When I say confess, I mean it. This man spills his heart out to you. Needless to say, you’re quick to accept him.
Once dating, he is somehow even more soft with you. He’s always wanting to hold your hand for one thing, letting his thumb trace random shapes into your skin as he talks idly with you.
Also expect him to be a lot more persistent in protecting you. He always protected you when he could before, of course, but now he somehow doubles down.
You bet he brings flashlights all the time specifically to get saves off for you, even if it leads to him being the killer’s new target. He may like staying out of harm’s way, but your safety and his desire to see you escape overpowers that immensely.
(Please though if he gets killed in that trial, cuddle with him after. He knows you probably think it’s stupid for him to stick his neck out for you but he only does it with the sweetest intentions, and he knows he won’t die for good and it’ll be okay.)
Also, expect him to take you on as many “dates” as he possibly can. A walk through Ormond to see the snow? A stroll through the Red Forest (with Anna’s permission) to enjoy the quiet scenery? Absolutely.
Do not be surprised if he talks about the “what ifs” for when (if) you two escape, once you two have been together for a while. He loves you, and he would definitely love to think about being with you forever in a more domestic setting.
Ash
This man… really has not had the best of luck with partners. He acts a lady’s man, but that doesn’t mean he has long lasting luck with those he tries to cozy up with.
The total opposite of Dwight though, his luck does not stop him from flirting with you as soon as his feelings start cropping up. He’s far from subtle with it too - his somewhat playful, almost smug smile as he casually leans with his arm propped up against a tree or even some of the buildings during trials makes it clear what he’s focused on.
Sure, he knows there’s a time and a place but he still wants his feelings to be known. Can you blame him? At this point in his life he doesn’t know when everything will be stripped away from him again, so he has to make the time count. Who knows how long he’ll be stuck here or what could happen?
Needless to say, he would eventually win you over. The man can be persistent - whether that’s just natural charisma or constant experience from his bar hopping, hard to tell. He’d swear it’s the former though.
When you do end up with him, be prepared for and expect a lot of teasing on his end. He’s a charmer, and he’d love to see you smiling or blushing from his compliments or even his casual comments towards you.
Also expect him to be a bit… antsy when you’re in a trial without him. You’ll always come back to see him pacing near the fire, similar to a dog waiting for its owner to return home from work. He’ll swear to you it’s just because he wanted to stretch his legs, but the pure relief in his eyes when he sees you’ve returned to him gives him away. He will never admit it though, more than likely.
Expect him to have some relatively bad days. He’d be careful not to snap at you, but there will be days you can tell he’s out of sorts. Just keep an eye on him and when he comes to, he’ll have you in his lap in no time, quietly rocking you back and forth as he reassures himself that what he has right now, you, are real and alive.
Just please, do this man a favor and no dates in any of the cabins, okay? He may be tougher than he was way back when hell broke loose, but that doesn’t mean he needs the reminder.
He would definitely love nap dates, though. Sounds simple, but let’s be honest here - he’d like to be able to hold you. He’d like hearing your soft breathing as you slept peacefully in his embrace. He’d like that reassurance, knowing that when the two of you wake up, you’ll still be together.

Do you do all killers?
I’m glad you asked! It gives me a bit of a wider area to explain myself a bit.
The simple answer is... most? Like, I’m down to write just about anyone! Even if I don’t know them yet, I’m willing to at least try and search out the film/media they’re in so I can get a grasp of whoever is requested.
However. There are some killers who I am entirely too uncomfortable writing due to some personal reasons. The only two I can think of at the moment is Freddy Krueger and The Clown/Kenneth from DbD. If there’s ever more, I’ll add them to my section on the blog.
Basically though, if it’s just a typical slasher or something? Yeah, I’d be super down to write it. If it crosses into things like pedophilia, incest, bestiality, noncon etc though, I apologize but I can’t do that. I hope that answers your question!

Dwight, Ace, and Jeff with a writer s/o
Dwight
Dwight probably loves reading. He’s never been one to talk about his hobbies all that much - after all, he tries his best to stay out of the spotlight as that’s what he thinks he’s best at. He loves to read though, as it often used to help him relax after a particularly rough day so he could ease himself to sleep.
Needless to say, when he learns you write? He’s excited. Like, you can practically see this boy beaming. He probably gets a bit too excited, wanting to see everything you write.
Feel free to tell him to back up a bit if you need! He wouldn’t get mad over that at all - he’s just super eager but he absolutely will not force you to show him even a single thing of what you write.
If you do decide to show him, though? He will be absolutely over the moon. No matter what the genre is, he’d be happy to experience your writing, or even to be read to.
If you don’t want it drawn out too long, you should probably read to him though. If you let him read, be fully prepared for constant pauses from him as he looks up to you to compliment your work, or comment on it in some way.
He would look very soft. This man is very much soothed by your work and he would always come back for more or to at least see if you’ve written more.
As a bonus he’d love hearing you talk about any ideas you were working on while you relaxed together. Just cuddle with this boy and ramble about anything and everything involving your writing and ideas and he will be in absolute heaven.
Ace
Ace may not appear the type to be into reading, and in a way? That’s correct.
However, that doesn’t mean he’s opposed to it, in the right circumstances. Quite frankly in the past he just never had the time to sit down and relax with a book. Reading a book all cozy under a blanket just didn’t suit him - it wouldn’t help him in the slightest with his debt situation.
With you though, it’s a bit different. Here, he isn't on the run. At least, not in the same sense that he used to be. No one will be storming through those trees to collect money or his life, and unless something changes and the killers come after him outside of a trial, he can afford to relax a bit more.
So when he happens upon you, scribbling away in a dirty notebook you had found laying around, he finds himself a bit curious. Was it a diary, maybe?
While normally, he might have sneaked around to find his answers later when you didn’t have the notebook on you, he respects you enough to be a bit more upfront and ask you what you’re writing. Even in asking a simple question, that silver tongue worked its magic, his playful charm as smooth as ever.
When he finds out you’re writing not a diary, but stories, he gets surprisingly more intrigued than if you had been writing secrets meant only for yourself. He always pegged you for the creative type from what he had seen in the trials you had been in together, but he didn’t know it was to this extent.
Tell him about your stories! He may come off as way too cool and slick to care, but when he sits beside you and takes off his shades to get a better look for himself, you’ll know how interested he really is.
Don’t be surprised if you have an unexpected new biggest fan.
Jeff
At first glance, most people wouldn’t peg Jeff for someone who could appreciate the arts. You, on the other hand, were close enough to know better.
You’ve seen him working on his own art when he’s alone, even though there aren’t quite as many materials available for him as he might have liked.
So, one day you decide to show him your work. You weren’t entirely sure if he would like writing as much as he does drawing, painting, or music, but it couldn’t hurt to see what he thought, right? Artist to artist!
There isn’t a huge outward reaction. He didn’t show a lack of interest by any means - he was just a very quiet, soft spoken kind of guy. You could see he was interested behind his eyes and a slight twitch of his lips into a smile, and that was enough.
He made the offer to you to come to him for advice or ideas, should you need them. Even if you didn’t, he offers you the chance to come and talk to him about your projects. Who knows, maybe you two could inspire each other.
Inspire each other you do - sometimes when you visit, he casually passes you one of his sketchbooks. You very quickly come to realize it’s a sketchbook dedicated to sketches related to your writing. Every time you visit and he hands it to you, he watches your face for your reactions. His expression is always soft with you, but seeing your face light up in excitement when you get to the new sketches always warms his heart.
If you were ever to write a small piece or two based on his own art? You can bet he would be so grateful. Like, he would feel so much genuine love and appreciation in that moment that it’s nothing less than touching.
He would very much love setting up a day or two each week (or, as close as the two of you can assume to be a week considering the strange flow of time in this realm) to just sit down and discuss each other’s works while you relaxed together by the fire. Please take him up on it - your company and passion is everything to him.

Evan
At first, Evan probably has a bit of a difficult time interacting with someone who’s more on the fragile side.
That’s not to say he hates it by any means! Due to how he was raised and his family situation though, someone being fragile was frowned upon. Kindness itself was frowned upon, and so he finds it difficult to ease up with someone who seems so opposite on the spectrum.
Eventually though, he learns. Perhaps it was the past memories being slowly dragged to the surface, or perhaps it was just his internalized adoration for his s/o that made him crave something softer.
He’s subtle about that though. Where he used to shy away from things that would have made him seem weak in the eyes of his father so long ago, he begins to grow more accepting with small actions.
Fall asleep while he’s working? He’ll pull you into his lap - you’re small enough in comparison to him that he can still use his hands to work with his traps without you being in the way. (Of course, if you wake up during this, don’t comment on it - he will only insist it’s so you don’t get sick in the cold of the estate and nothing more.)
Can’t reach something? Well, he’d probably find it a bit cute, honestly. There’s a lot of things he keeps high up around the estate - both because he doesn’t want anyone messing with them along with the fact once you started to visit him, he knew he had to be a bit more… careful. He knew injuries were healed up after trials, but he didn’t quite want to test what happened if you got seriously hurt outside trials.
Regardless, due to him finding your struggles a bit cute, he’d often wait out helping you. He would eventually help you, yes, but not until you practically begged him to stop subtly smirking at you.
You being on the more fragile side also leads to some very strict protection from him. He wouldn’t be able to admit it freely, but he genuinely hates the idea of anything happening to you that he could have prevented. He’s had enough hardship in his life - hardship that made him into who he was today. He wouldn’t want anything to harm or taint you, and he will protect what he sees as a sweet innocence fiercely.
Herman
Herman absolutely vibes with having an s/o so much smaller than him, for a multitude of reasons.
First off, he finds it extremely entertaining. There is so much potential in his mind for testing the limits.
That’s not to say he’d ever harm you - the Entity no doubt had to suppress some of his urges from the past when brought into the fog. After all, if Herman acted up outside trials, there wouldn’t be any trials for the Entity to feed off of, right?
That doesn’t stop Herman from toying with you though. Just a little bit.
He would love getting a startled little yelp out of you when he catches you off guard with a bit of a zap down your spine if you grow too complacent around him.
As long as you don’t get in the way of his work too much though, he would never be able to get mad at you. This includes if you ask him for any help. Sometimes he’ll tease you a bit but ultimately he has no qualms in helping you out.
In the same respect, this man would especially appreciate any willingness to learn from you. Can’t reach one of the books that are high up on the shelves in his study? No teasing from him then, he will immediately get it for you all while casually telling you various things you’ll see in the book, offering to explain anything you may not understand entirely on your own.
He’s not a man who likes to sleep - sure, he could if he wanted to but in this realm it’s far from necessary for killers like him. If you want to sleep while he works though, he doesn’t mind. He will require most of the time that you sleep in one of the armchairs instead of his lap though, as he hates sitting still for too long.
(Don’t worry though, sometimes when he’s feeling particularly calm, he won’t mind you falling asleep in his lap. Sometimes you’ll wake up there, sometimes you’ll wake up in the chair or in one of the various beds scattered across the facility. It’s a toss up really.)
As a side note, you being more fragile will not make him more protective necessarily. Sure, he won’t let anything happen to you on his watch - but he doesn’t follow you around like a mother hen either. He believes you are smart and capable enough to take care of yourself or seek him out if you can’t.
Kazan
Out of all of these four, Kazan is actually the most likely to be helpful to you without complaint.
Despite his very dark past and his twisted mentality back then, he did have the best intentions in his mind. Not only that, but this man had a son, so long ago. He understands how to treat someone who’s smaller than him and more fragile.
(Which is a good thing considering most people are shorter and more fragile than him, let’s be honest.)
He may have been seen as a monster in the past, but with his s/o he’s actually the farthest thing from it.
Kazan actually enjoys a quiet moment with you, and unlike some of the others he isn’t exactly afraid to show it. He’s still subtle, sure, but not out of the feeling of necessity. He’s just not quite as expressive.
When you visit him expect to be carried around a lot. The main reason is he likes holding onto you and it also makes it a bit easier with keeping up with him since… Well, you can’t not keep up if he’s literally carrying you.
(He also internally worries about you tripping and getting hurt, since his realm is dark and filled with plants and stones. He just won’t say that so he doesn’t hurt your own pride, since he understands pride and honor well.)
He also tends to follow you around a lot more than the others, surprisingly. He may be an extremely powerful, intimidating Big Man ™ but that will not stop him from following you like a puppy.
A very large, very anger-prone guard puppy.
He also doesn’t usually grab things for you that you can’t reach. Why?
He prefers to just pick you up instead to let you grab it while he holds onto your waist. It reminds him of better times, before all the blood on his hands.
You will end up sleeping with him, a lot. When you do, you better hope he wakes up before you because there is no way you will get out of his arms until he wakes up. Not to mention, he is a very deep sleeper. Be prepared for some very long naps.
Michael
Michel is the least likely to be good at helping you out, to be blunt.
He never really required anyone’s help in the past - he was always something of a lone wolf and hated showing any form of vulnerability. Whenever he did, it was abused. So why should he care about someone else showing vulnerability unless he can put it to use against them?
However, that does not mean he will never help you. It just has to be on his own terms whether it’s from curiosity, amusement (however deeply hidden that may be), or the like.
If you’re close enough to be his s/o, then he’s prone to helping you out regardless even if in his own… odd ways.
Some things you may not even realize. Some of the killers who like to mess with survivors even outside trials (regardless of the lack of true threat in that moment) seem to never mess with you. You’ll never know why, but let’s be honest - Michael will not let anyone mess with you.
This man is, deep down, probably affection starved to some degree. This somewhat depends on which version of him you think of obviously as to how much.
Even so, he will never make that known. This man would hate showing vulnerability even if with just his s/o.
You’d know though when he grabs at your wrist a certain way, pulling you with him wherever he wants to go that’s quieter.
Back on topic, you’d have to voice at times if he’s being too rough with grabbing onto you and pulling you wherever he wants to go. He doesn’t fully realize his own strength in comparison to yours, and if he harms you he’ll at least tone it down a bit.
Sure, he may be very backwards and like an angry old cat, but he can compromise.
Just do not tease him or comment on the rare occasions he allows himself to soften up for your sake, or the likelihood of it happening again is very slim.
