can you believe that we have fanfiction. that we have websites dedicated to fanfiction. that there is a place that you can go and read tens, hundreds, thousands and thousands of pieces of writing that strangers have made. people who are not "writers". people who come home at the end of the day and have feelings and say, i am going to put that into words. i am going to share those words. short, long, sweet, sad, horny, funny, wonderful words. we are all just human and we all love to make and remake and share that with others. can you believe that.

I am almost done with my “qsmp eggs as pets” ref post for my college au but I’m stuck on the newest eggs em, sunny, pepito, and chusnik
Help? I’m trying to keep the animals they are a little realistic for college students to own (dogs, cats, birds, reptiles) but im not afraid to go a little exotic or unconventional if it fits one of the eggs (Dapper as a fruit bat, Leo as an epaulette shark)
lifespans do not matter cause im ignoring them lmao
If you have any suggestions for those 4, throw ‘em at me!! Im also not super set on my Chayanne and Tilín choices (orange tabby/maine coon and call duck respectively) so if you have an idea for them too, I’d hear it!! I can share any of the og you’re curious about, but I also plan to post them all once I finalize the choices :3

omg anon it’s okay!!!
the beautiful thing about fanfiction is that you can just do whatever you want! do you think my versions of Charlie and Étoiles are 100% accurate to the cubitos? NO!!!!
Their dynamic? Barely exists in canon! That gives people so much room to explore and theorize and create :) Don’t let the fear of messing up stop you from trying. How else will you learn and improve?
This isn’t me pushing you to create starcicle. This is just me encouraging you to create regardless of your hang ups and concerns. Create because you want to. Don’t let worry and fear stop you from putting more art into the world.
(Here’s a lil secret: I’m scared too lmao. Like all the time.)

YEHAHHHHHHH BUG ART!!!!
below are some of my first attempts at miniature bug watercolors and I chose Luna moths bc of their colors and they are my dads favorite :3 upper left is the very first attempt and latest is last box, still not finished… all done with watercolor paint (most from Etsy) and super fine brushes- toothpick for scale!
Then we have some doodles!!! These are just from my pocket sketchbook and done when I was bored. The first is an antler horned beetle (I found a super cool book on beetles at the library and kind of lost my mind, I have so many I wanna draw/paint). And the other is an annual cicada and it’s various cycles of life!!! Cicadas are my favorite bug hands down and I started that sketch as a tattoo concept for myself that I hope to get one day, I just want to find the right artist…
Also last year I started dabbling with printmaking and bought a speedball carver and some cheap erasers and made me some cicada wind stamps. I hope to make more bugs and stuff with them this year <3
That’s all I have for bug stuff right now!!! My energy has shifted to writing lately but I’ve missed traditional art a ton and hope to jump back in soon
Might share more of my work in the future, I have a bunch <333 thank you sm anon for letting me share this!!!
(Y’all feel free to send me any bugs at any time, I could always use to inspo. Cant guarantee I’ll draw/paint them but I love learning about critters and crawlers :3)
