"I could be on drugs!" is a reference to a time when Georgie dragged Jon to a party during uni where people were doing drugs. Trying to fit in, the jittery mess we call Jon did a line of coke, only to immediately stop shaking and have his thoughts slow down. He refused to listen when Georgie asked him to get tested for ADHD afterwards

Jon cuts his hair after S4 and then at one point during the eyepocalypse he sees his reflection and notices that he looks all too similar to Elias

I think Jon smashing that table was the moment I really fell in love with tma. That's when I realized, oh, this is a show about a man who is not cut out to be a protagonist but is forced to be one anyway. This is a show were people try their best and still fail spectacularly. Every character in this show sucks in their own special way but you still can't help but love them. You really don't find this kind of show everyday. People say this all the time, but I really mean it when I say that tma has permanently altered my brain chemistry. I haven't been this obsessed with something in a long time.

My design of Alice Dyer keeps bothering me because it just doesn't encapsulate... Her. So what if I just slapped a redesign on her

reki loves caffeine because it helps him focus on stuff (outside of art) that he has to get done. so, his tolerance is actually terrifying? it’s not uncommon to find him taking a nap afterwards. like, if he’s not drinking monster energy, he’s drinking a cold can of coffee. he loves opening his tabs.

langa, on the other hand, does drink it on occasion. he just… doesn’t see why he would have to. he doesn’t have low energy, or high energy either, just a consistent amount? he won’t turn down an offer if someone else is paying, and especially if he gets food out of it, too. he’ll drink anything someone gets him. anything.

joe is a coffee connoisseur. pretends he’s all fancy with his little espresso cup and overpriced machine. makes one every morning for himself to begin routine restaurant cleanup before he opens in the evening.

cherry would like to say he’s “too good” for it, but that’s his public image talking. is not beyond getting an iced strawberry frappucino and will walk around unabashed if given the chance.

shadow works at a flower shop, you’re kidding yourself if you think he doesn’t drink coffee. they go hand in hand. loves a steamed almond milk with two espresso shots, topped with a little honey drizzle and cinnamon, and takes in a little to-go cup.

miya would rather die. too young to appreciate it, but give him a few years and he’ll begrudgingly expand his horizons. just a little.

masae kyan is definitely where reki gets his bursts of energy from. when she has time to, she’ll go out for one, but she mostly only has the time to make it at home. makes a comforting mug instant coffee, with whatever flavored creamer she thought would taste good. spoiler alert: it always does.

nanako hasegawa love, love, loves going for coffee. has a bit of a sweet tooth, too, so she usually gets a mocha latte, but will try out other drinks she thinks will taste cozy and warm. doesn’t really enjoy iced drinks.
