So Zevran considered himself to be one of the best assassins out there before he and Taliesen killed Rinna. And yet canonically, neither he nor Taliesen showed much promise (despite surviving their training as the only recruits of their uh "class") until Rinna was introduced into the group. And I am holding those two facts up like paint swatches and comparing them to see how they interact

tumblr loves calling for complex and intriguing storytelling until such stories call for the audience to engage with them according to the setting's rules lol. bc u can engage w a story but only within your modern western progressive set of morals, otherwise youre an oppressive monster for investing in things you disagree with irl, apparently. like i saw a post calling ppl for engaging with fictional monarchies in the "wrong" way 'monarchy supporters/apologists' like. um. its. theyre made up? its not actual monarchy? its not real? no peasants were harmed during the making of this story?

Me sittin’ here, seriously concerned for all the young kids who are gonna’ grow up in this fandom environment thinking they’re secretly evil monsters because their sex fantasies aren’t strictly pure or vanilla or because they ship something with an unhealthy dynamic. Soooooo many people must hate/be terrified of themselves.

You’re fuckin’ fine.
The human brain is weird. Sex fantasies ≠ actual desires. If you ask yourself, “would I want to act out this thing in real life” and the answer is “fuck no,” then you’re fine. Shipping is also not an indicator of what you would condone in real life. You are not secretly a monster. You are a human being. Human beings are complicated. Please calm down and treat yourself to a smoothie or something.

@wizard_bisan1 and AJ+ have been nominated for a Peabody Award for her coverage of Gaza.
For over 6 months, Bisan Owda has shown the world how life in Gaza has been through her eyes. She has told the story of Palestinian survival in the face of the Israeli genocide.
Before Oct. 7, Bisan was making films about cultural life in her native Gaza for her own YouTube channel.
In 2023, AJ+’s @denatakruri won a Peabody Award for her story “One Day in Hebron,” which gave a firsthand account of the Israeli occupation in Hebron, in the occupied West Bank.

In no way are there any pdf’s relating to any wizard who may or may not be residing on any coast

okay americans i gotta ask because as an European i grew up with lots of american shows and cartoons and in a lot of them there was an episode where they give the protags a doll or an egg or a bag of flour or whatever and told them pretend to be its parents or something
#the programmed doll thing was definitely a thing in my school in Australia#those of us who did health and human development as an elective got given one for three days whether we liked it or not haha#one friend of mine was so excited to try it lmao she has kids now surprise surprise#never had the egg but i saw it on Buffy so naturally assumed it was a real thing 😌🙏
