I love all the gintae moments, for sure! But these ones are chef kiss:
When Gintoki lost memory and Tae didn't wanted him to go back:
Hear me out, this is the first time we see them not acting tsundre-sh with each other, this scne made me question if Tae had a crush on him, because despite him having bigger pupils (Tae plz) and a non useless samurai personality, he still is Gintoki and she didn't thinked two times about it! and she blushed when he took her hand on soul switch arc too.
Umbrella scene in Benizakura arc:
What can i say about that perfect scene? This is where we see how Tae understands him deeply and that's a trait to few characters in this show, especially because Gin is always trying to hide evrything from everyone, but she perceived and understood it, too much perfection af...
When they fought together in Be Forever Yorozuya:
It was such a small moment, but showed their relationship so well and they smiling about each other while teasing, ahhh 😭
In Switch Soul arc when Dozaemon was interacting with Tae:
Firstly, Gintoki was crying of happiness for Tae treating a part of him so well, secondly this arc is the one who shows how Gin feels about her and we discovered that he thinks that she's too good for him and that a part of him is super attached to Tae, holy sht how cute is that?
When she got back Gin sword in Silver Soul arc:
So much simbolism man, there isn't a word but that scene spoke too much, it could be literally any character giving the sword to Gin, but it was her HMM I WONDER WHY? Before the most important moment for Gntoki, she was there giving his sword to start it!
Obi Wan thinking that Gin and Tae did "that":
I'm a sucker for people thinking that certain characters are a couple! Man, how he literally look at them and already assume that 🤣 and he was so open about it, as if was a super natural thing, sadly we couldn't see Gin face reaction, i really wonder how he's face was at that moment.
And last but not least, Binbokusai thinking that Gintoki loves Tae:
Why this scene? Well, because Gin simply ignored and he generally doesn't let people think supposedly wrong things about him, he could go full dramatic or say a straight up no, but he ignored it… he didn't care that Binbokusai was thinking this.
And it's cool that in every arc where Tae is more present, she's the one the last one to interact with Gin when he's going to make an important decision or have a impactful fight right after (Beam Saber arc, Benizakura arc, BFY, Silver Soul arc, Switch Soul arc).

gintaes rly act like the final movie was important to their ship but gintoki didnt even speak to her in it 😭😭😭
That last anti gntsu ask really hurted you, didn't it? 🤭🤭🤭.
Gintae main aspect is that they don't need to keep talking to each other, since they understand each other very well, actions speaks louder than words, it's literally their relationship.
He may not have spoke with her, but they share very important moments together
She's the one to give his sword back to fight with Utsuro, this is pure simbolism.
The one who literally saves him from dying, Sorachi could put her with someone else, but he decided to make this only about these two (in the manga is literally a entire page of them).
In the most important parts of movie, (especially for Gintoki), the Utsuro fight and Shoyou using himself to save the world, Otae was there before it happened, and helping Gin to get into it.
And seriously, why do they need to speak more? From the beggining of the manga/anime until the end they're always together, traveling, haging out, helping each other, visiting each other, and you want more? Are you a gintae shipper in denial?

The best thing abt gintae is that they’re actual buddies. Not in the “I will hang out with u during my free time” kind of buddies. They have other people for that. Gintoki has Hasegawa ans Otae has Kyuubei.
GinTae are buddies in the sense of
“I will share my culinary creations with my brother and our friends (Kagura and Gintoki) coz I love them and their reactions are always great and genuine;
I will hang out in their house coz they have a new kotatsu;
It’s been so long since we’ve all had hotpot, let’s celebrate tonight;
oh we should go to ski resort together it would be fun;
let’s eat ice cream together on this hot day;
hey let’s all buy clothes together since we’re already here;
She can just stay here and wait for her brother and our other friend to come back;
Let’s just have your brother take care of all of us, we are all equally sick anyway;
And more”
It’s the little scenes of everyday life that gets me. Add in the teasing and the scams, the bickering, and the selfless love and actions without any sweeping declarations.
GinTae is a deep strong friendship that grew with time, with strife and with relaxation, like a plant that’s been taken care of amidst sun, rain, typhoon and drought. It’s great.
