Waluigi Month 2020 - Day 2
This idea was sent in by stripey_demon88_ on instagram who wanted to see Waluigi trying on outfits for Mona! I didn’t draw Mona but imagine she’s out of view taking pictures or something lol
The first two outfits are some nonsense I came up with. The trans pride and bisexual pride flag colours were chosen for those outfits intentionally. I personally believe, that fishnet stockings are sexy af on men OR women (or nb.) The third outfit, the one with the red shirt, was designed by @schemingminor
I’m sorry I’m so slow at this! I will get them done one by one though!!

I usually don’t like being so direct about it, but I find it baffling that people buy so much into the ‘’people only like Waluigi because of memez!!!’’ myth and conveniently ignore how those memes only exist because of things he does in official media to begin with.
For the sake of making an actual argument, here’s a list of examples:
The guy is literally wanted for the crime of bad sportsmanship.
The error screen of Mario Tennis has him somehow fly away with an N64 in hand, forcing Luigi to give chase.
Waluigi Island is heavily implied to have belonged to Luigi beforehand, which also leads to some hillariously petty stuff like his Piranha Plant worker smashing Luigi’s house.
The Camelot CG openings in general. Anyone who has seen those knows how great of a comedic duo he Wario are.
His animations in general are always the most off-beat, wacky or just goofy and fun to watch. Examples being the infamous Strikers series Crotch Chop or him doing a rocker-like animation when winning a match in Power Tennis.
He’s the starter villain of a friggin’ DDR game.
He is a recurring villain in Dr. Mario-kun, antagonizing the cast with very zany schemes.

This is his theme song in Strikers Charged.
He invents his own pair of binoculars to stalk Luigi and figure out his weaknesses.
Some of the wacky animations I mentioned even factor into his moveset, such as moonwalking, swimming in the air or his affinity for roses. All of these are recurring traits too!
Those are the most noteworthy and fitting examples.
It’s perfectly legit to not like Waluigi, but making stuff up and acting like the things people like about him have no basis in anything but memes is uninformed at best and incredibly petty at worst.

“The Dark Alliance”
Based on this art piece, there was supposed to be another Mario fan comic called “The Super Mario Epic” but Waluigi Land was more important to work on. doing faster TSME illustrations will make up for lost time, I guess.
In the Super Mario Epic Story, Wario and his mysterious partner named “Waluigi” come to find that the great Koopa King also wants the Mario brothers eradicated and so the dark alliance unites to do just that. King Bowser sees potential in the unlikely pair and invites them to be a part of the Royal Koopa Palace…but if they fail…the Dragon King will personally kill them.
