Okay so Thorn blames Sonic for the destruction of the forest and that he is a scavenger. It is also revealed that all the scavengers Thorn knew and was friends with, so why did she call him a scavenger in spite of not knowing him. Why wouldn't it be "who is this strange blue hedgehog that I have never seen before?" She also claims the scavengers are the ones who caused the destruction seen below and it's later established they were the problem. How? No seriously these characters do have the equipment to cut down trees. Not break, not up root, perfectly cut these trees. To be honest I thought it was going to be revealed to be a misunderstanding and that there was a secret Eggman here all along who caused the destruction.

When it comes to Game Theory and the various theories presented there, alongside the lore claims. The following best explains my view of Game Theory.
So, a little side tangent away from my other posts, I don't like Game Theory. This post I am making is going to serve as an explanation on why, and a place I can direct people towards to easily explain it. Side note anyone reading should not use the information here to harass either Game Theory or the other person mentioned in it. That aside, awhile back a video was uploaded by a channel I follow named Inside A Mind titled How I almost worked for Game Theory, with a later addition of "edit now I do." The video goes over how he was approached to join Game Theory, and he talks about a Gravity Falls hypothesis video he came up with which now exists on Film Theory. Why am I bringing this up? Well in the video Inside A Mind talks about some email exchanges he had with MatPat, these exchanges contain information that shows blatant dishonesty in his theory crafting. In this conversation MatPat talks about brushing aside contradictory information that basically debunks the theory that is being crafted. He specifically used the Mario Is Mental videos as his example stating that in the Mario Power Tennis shoe grinding scene was focused on on for a reason, and how he purposefully left out information about anything good Mario has ever done. MatPat has made various theory videos over the years that have spread blatant misinformation about games such as Mario, and this shows that a lot of it is straight up intentional. This has majorly messed up people's perception of the lore of games like Mario, and it even comes off as irritating when he talks about how loves the lore of games when he won't even properly represent it. It's not just Mario, it's also Sonic, Pokemon, Megaman, Undertale, Minecraft, and yes Fnaf as well. It's also annoying how people will believe his claims with no questions, and when challenged they say "it's just a theory." MatPat himself has tried to also use the "it's just a theory" defense and claim it's all just fun speculation. However, this defense is invalidated because 1 he has already stated that he ignores lore to create his theories, and 2nd how he gets so upset over criticism of his theories. Prime examples include criticism over his Sans is Ness theory, his recent Game Theory: Why You HATE My Theories (FNAF) video, and most notably his Mario is Mental theory. He basically tries to have his cake and eat it too. It is also just straight up obvious on how he ignores actual game lore, countless people have pointed it out before. Heck several of my lore posts I've made either outright debunk MatPat's claims, if not throw major monkey wrenches into his theories. Anyways I hope this serves as an explanation on why I don't like Game Theory videos.

Inconsistencies of Sonic Prime Part 4 So Shadow using a Chaos Emerald is unaffected by the Paradox Prism with no explanation to why, but regardless just like Sonic this seems to have resulted in his lack of alternate versions of him. So with the Shatter Spaces most notably New Yolk seemingly being the Sonic world but different in the absence of Sonic wouldn't that have applied to Shadow as well? In other words how does the Chaos Council exist without Shadow? The reason I say this is because it is now currently being heavily implied that the events of Space Colony and what happened to Maria, majorly impacted the Robotnik family. From there affecting Eggman possibly being a major cause for his villainy. So in the absence of Shadow and by extension Project Shadow shouldn't things have played out much differently?

Inconsistencies of Sonic Prime Part 3 So why is anyone living on South Island or more specifically Green Hill in both the main world and the shatter spaces? Characters like Amy and Tails don't canonically live there. Why would Rouge or Big live there? Or the even countless Mobians that live here as seen in New Yolk? I'm calling them that because I don't have another name for them. South Island is supposed to be a mystical place that as established before freely floats in the water. South Island has only ever been depicted with small critters like Flickies inhabiting it. Most importantly, why is Knuckles here? Knuckles' whole story and origin is connected to the Emeralds and he should be guarding it, but he isn't. Sonic Prime itself brings up not only the existence of the Master Emerald but that Knuckles is it's guardian. Yet why is he here? Or more importantly why is it in New Yolk does he call this home? This brings up the problem with the Emeralds. What's their deal in this show? They were brought up several times but never expanded up. Bringing up Chekhov's gun they should have explained their role in all this. While Season 3 could explain it I don't have high hopes for it. But nonetheless Sonic Prime doesn't further expand on what amounts to alternate versions of the main Sonic world. What's the deal with Knuckles and by extension the Echidnas, why is there no Eggmen in the other worlds? It never really further expands upon the characters of these other worlds. You also have Sonic never making a passing mention of Chaos Sonic being like Metal.

Inconsistencies of Sonic Prime Part 2 My next question is why did the Chaos Council invade South Island or more specifically Green Hill? What's their motive. The reason I say this is one the shatter spaces and mostly New Yolk still seem to base themselves off the original world especially New Yolk and it's timeline see Nine for a prime example. So why did they invade it? The reason I ask is because as established in the manual for Sonic 1 and re-established in the Encyclopedia, South Island is first off an Island that floats around freely in the ocean keep that in mind for later. But primarily the only reason Eggman went there in the first place was to find the Chaos Emeralds. For whatever reason which still is not explained and possibly won't be explained, but the Emeralds seemed to be unaffected by the Paradox Prism. Or at least we don't know what's up with them because Prime refuses to elaborate. Whether or not they are or aren't in the shatter spaces the Chaos Council never mention seeking them out as their motive. Furthermore, the original manual establishes the first game is not Sonic's first time fighting each other meaning Eggman had various schemes before he decided to invade South Island in search of the Emeralds. So why did the Chaos Council end up only taking over South Island or more specifically a small section of South Island, an island that is constantly moving out of all the other places in this series?

Sonic Prime Inconsistencies Part 1 Okay so I wanted to make this post to ramble about the inconsistencies or just straight up lore problems of Sonic Prime. While I get it is supposed to be more oriented towards kids, such a thing is not an excuse for simplistic story telling. In addition with the recent focus on Lore in recent Sonic games with the addition of a lore master, I find the inclusion of Sonic Prime to the canon of the games to be the big problem. The whole if it doesn't contradict the games and unified canon thing. It would be alright if it wasn't canon though still frustrating. But one Logan McPherson, Takashi Iizuka, alongside others has confirmed it is supposed to be canon. So my first problem is Sonic and I am not going to talk about his blabber mouth, yet. You see there is a problem with his power level, he is way too underpowered for at this point in the timeline. This Sonic will inconsistently smash through Eggforcers like they are your basic Badnik but then also having struggling with them fighting forever like this was a DBZ fight. The Eggforcers I would best describe as slightly beefed up Badniks, but still Sonic should not be having such a hard time with them. Using characters like Shadow, Orbot, and Cubot as a way to set down a placement in the timeline. This would mean this Sonic whose struggling with slightly beefed up Badniks is the same one whose faced off against the Death Egg Robot, the Great Egg Robo, Perfect Chaos even fighting him in his base form, the Black Arms, Dark Gaia, etc. among all the various mechs and bosses in up until this point. However, if the claim Prime takes place in the far future, that means he would have been through even more up until Frontiers!! My next problem is a nitpick but why is Birdie not only hanging out with Amy now but why are they pink? Birdie was blue in Adventure so why are they suddenly pink? Imma ask is to match up with Amy the pink female hedgehog? Because if so that is pretty questionable.

Okay, something I get annoyed with is the fact that people call the Sonic the Comic version of Super Sonic, Fleetway Sonic or more irritatingly Fleetway. I believe it's probably mostly because of the FNF mod. It doesn't makes sense to call him Fleetway because that's the name of the publishing company that made the comic, not the character. It would be like calling Donkey Kong or any of the other characters in Sonic The Comic Fleetway just because the publishing company is named Fleetway. How about Fleetway Sonic? I mean we name other versions of him things like Archie Sonic, Underground Sonic, Satan Sonic, Boom Sonic, etc. The problem is he is Super Sonic not basic Sonic, he is even called Super Sonic in the comics. So you would call base form Sonic from Sonic the Comic Fleetway Sonic, while you would call the Super form of Sonic Fleetway Super Sonic. We already do this with the Archie versions of these 2 forms, calling them Archie Sonic and Archie Super Sonic.

In a previous post I talked about people having a problem with one Amy Rose being a strong character rather than just a normal character. How they have problems with her recent depictions in things like the IDW comics as rather strong. I pointed out how in older material it already was implying she was rather strong, and in this post I am continuing that. Credit to flowergirlmiwa for pointing this out, in Sonic Battle Amy is one of the few characters we see actually training using weights. In fact the rings she is seen wearing are some of those weights, she is also wearing some on her legs which are obscured. When she takes them off the screen shakes to further sell this fact. She's basically pulling a Goku from DBZ. Now watch her be wearing some kind of weighted shirt underneath her skirt. In addition in the opening sequence of Amy's episode Sonic and Tails make mention of Amy getting Stronger. Continuing apparently on the Sega of America website from Sonic Characters such as Amy in March 5 2005 , the website claimed that "Amy is graceful and powerful at the same time and though she often gets into trouble, she is stronger than most give her credit for." While a comedic moment Amy does just straight up slap Knuckles into a tree in Sonic Generations, also showing her to have strength. And most recently in the Twitter Takeover Knuckles and Amy claim Amy using her hammer can break the Earth, a feat we've seen Knuckles be able to do himself.

Many people have freaked out about Tails Tube establishing Knuckles Chaotix as canon. However, it isn't establishing it as canon but reestablishing it as canon. In the Sonic The Hedgehog Encyclo-speed-ia on page 73 it confirms that Knuckles Chaotix is canon, while on page 139 it talked about the Chaotic returning after their long Hiatus.

There is a hypothesis that Metal Sonic is Sonic Roboticized and sent back in time from a Bad Future, I am going to be arguing why this is not the case In Sonic Triple Trouble it is stated that Metal is a "handmade ultimate robot," built by Dr. Eggman. We also know that Sonic Triple Trouble is canon thanks to Sonic Superstars and Tailstube. In Knuckles Chaotix Manual it tells us that Metal is"a Sonic-shaped robot created by Dr. Robotnik." It also tells us that "the main and sub CPUs were recovered from the body that was destroyed in a previous confrontation with Sonic." In the Roboticized Sonic Hypothesis it is argued that Eggman can't build or rebuild Metal Sonic and the best he can do is Mecha Sonic. However, this confirms not only can Eggman build Metal Sonic, but he can rebuild him as well. Knuckles Chaotix is also canon according to both the Encyclopedia and Tailstube. Some people have claimed there are multiple and as well as rebuilt Metal Sonics in Sonic Rivals, however I have not checked to see if that is true. If it is this further proves the point that Eggman can build Metal Sonic. Finally once again in the Encyclopedia it outright states that Metal Sonic is "Dr. Eggman's answer to nature's perfect hero, and that Metal's "main CPU is a LIPS A.I.EGGMANA, run by three Dr. Eggman custom chips." Once again confirming Metal was built by Dr. Eggman. There is also the main issue that roboticization is canon to the games and only exists in non canon spin-offs. The closest we get to roboticization is possible cyborgs such as what we see with Tails in Sonic Lost World, and maybe Rusty Rose from Sonic Prime. But still not roboticization. Some may argue that robotomies from the Sonic Forces promotions is roboticization. However, this is just Eggman's basic trick of putting animals into Badniks. The closest we got to canon roboticization was from Sonic Chronicles The Dark Brotherhood containing it. However, Sonic Chronicles was removed from the canon as stated in the Encyclopedia under the section about the origin of the Gizoids. It's also noteworthy that even in material where roboticization does exist such as the Archie Comics, there does exist a roboticized Sonic. But even in the Archie Comics, Roboticized Sonic and Metal Sonic are 2 separate characters.

Many people have a problem with Sega's recent depiction of Amy Rose being relatively strong. I find this mainly stems from the fact that they had seen a video where the person who made it suggested she was normal. However, there is a decent amount of old material that was already for a while implying Amy was pretty strong. In the Encyclopedia there is a section for one of the Advanced games that talks about pairings. When you pair Knuckles and Amy up they are labeled as Power Type. With the description being, "Any team with Knuckles but without Sonic. Deal extra damage and access exclusive routes." As for the people that are so upset about Amy not being you know, normal, they ignore all the other characters. Cream, Vanilla, maybe Rouge, and Whisper are all characters that can be classified as normal. Or even Team Chaotix excluding Mighty and Knuckles obviously. These characters as far as I am aware can be regarded as normal, so we already have these characters. I think it's alright for Amy to be up there with Knuckles, Tails, Mighty, Sonic, Shadow, Blaze, and Silver when it comes to power vs normal. I also think that the people making a big stink about Amy being considered strong may have a certain view similar to that old dumb rule that only male hedgehogs can go super. I mean many of these people have also made a big stink about Amy having a super form at all, even though the Chaos Emeralds powers are supposed to be accessible to everyone.

While Metal Sonic is known for being silent and never talking unless he takes on his Neo Metal and Metal Overlord forms, he has kind of talked in his Base for once. In Sonic Generations in the level select, Metal Sonic actually speaks to Sonic.
