Another headcannon: Aizetsu and Shimitsu never get along. They may both be the emotions of the negativity of sadness. But they never really see each other eye to eye. In Aizetsu perspective: Shimitsu is a total crybaby. While in Shimitsu perspective: Aizetsu is scary when he's totally sorrowful.
Even for once, Sekido never seems to be bothered by their rivalry.. Only when things get really ugly, he and Karaku had to intervene.
