“…Ready for the Life to Live…” ♫

Regardless of anything life has thrown my way, moving forward is something I’ve come to embrace, especially in these past few weeks. As soon as we returned from our vacation, Moses and I made securing another IVF cycle our first priority. We contacted multiple clinics, but unfortunately none of them were willing to work with us. As one put it bluntly, “Our main focus is on results and viable embryos. It simply won’t happen with cases involving bad eggs.” Although this reality will always be a sore spot for us, we’re moving forward…We’re still going to have our family through adoption, and if luck has it, Mo knocking me up. For now, the next step we’re focusing on is moving in to a bigger space. We put in an offer for a beautiful home outside of town that hopefully will be accepted soon.

Earlier in the day, Nica called wanting to have a “Ladies Night”, since Moses is away on business. The two of us haven’t hung out by ourselves in a long time, so I definitely welcomed this. Our last official “Ladies Night”, ended up with me crying my eyes out to my friend after my shitty ex husband rubbed his infidelities in my face. Humph, funny how things turnout in the long run. That friend is now the love of my life and Sleaze, as Moses calls him, is a non factor. Damn, things actually can fall into place can’t they? Thinking about that has me feeling really good about life right now. Even with a few setbacks by things out of your control, moving forward can bring you peace, happiness and nice surprises along the way.

Another Mogul Vacation....Pt. 2

I’m standing here, soaking in this breathtaking view one last time before we leave today. We’ve taken tons of trips before but this has been the best one . It’s so calm, quiet and peaceful here, that I wouldn’t mind making this our go to spot. We were able to focus on us and only us…No paparazzi, no social media, and most importantly no negativity. This getaway was much needed after being dropped from the IVF program, so I’m grateful Mo suggested it. I should be used to his thoughtfulness by now but it takes me by surprise every time. Humph, I swear this man knows just how to melt my heart. We stayed way longer than planned but I’m in no rush to leave. Home only brings us one step closer to experiencing that disappointment again. Assuming a new program accepts us, there’s very little chance that it will even work. We’re down to our last resort and if it fails, there are no more biological options for us. Being pregnant was one of the best experiences I’ve ever had and I would give anything to share that with Mo. I’m nervous as hell as to what might happen and how we’d get past the worst, but I know dwelling won’t be good for us. Taking away from happier moments is not what I want, so i’m going to try my best to just focus on what I have now…This view, this vacation, and this man.

The ride home from VIP gave me ample time to think before seeing Leah. I realized, that as much as I want to know how she feels about trying to get into another IVF program, forcing her to talk might actually make things worse. If this situation drudged up my regrets and guilt with Trisha’s abortion, there’s no doubt it will have her spiraling and thinking about her past. Even though I need to sort shit out for my peace of mind, the last thing I wanna do is cause her any pain. She never responded to my text, so it’s clear that she isn’t ready. For now, I’ll just be patient and wait until she comes to me.

Thank you Vivian Muse Since she was the start of my third/current sim Legacy…

She’s an only child, raised by her elderly grandmother who had no other children herself.

She and Mason (Moses’ uncle) became parents when they were just 15. She moved in with him and his family, as she needed help with their new baby (Nica). His twin brother, also just had a baby (Moses) but his girlfriend moved away and never looked back. Vivian and Mason got married straight out of high school and moved into their own apartment. Vivian had been attached to Moses and treated him like he was her own so when his father tragically passed away soon after their wedding, she made sure Moses moved in with them. When Mason got a huge recording contract they moved out of starlight shores where he became extremely successful and rich, and their family grew.

While she loves her husband, despite his shortcomings, she does regret putting her dreams on the back burner to focus on his career and their family.

She is a skilled painter, singer and songwriter.

She, despite the crap she’s done to Teeleah lol, has a good heart. Since her family is all she has in this world, she is overprotective of them. She’s scared that with everyone growing older and settling down, and with her husband’s history, that she’s gonna be alone. This stems from the guilt of leaving her grandmother who has since passed.

SN: I actually just realized that I’m way too attached to my sims…I have literally combined all my “legacies” and have them in Teeleah’s story.

"Deanna?..." *closes the door*

*sees who it is* "Oh hell no! I don't know why you're up here, but you can get out! Tell that mothafucker to give me my son and my phone, we're leaving! I'm getting a restraining order and filling for full custody. He'll be lucky if a judge allows supervised visitation."

"I know you're upset right now but just take a moment to think rationally."

"Rationally!??? Look at my face!!" *voice cracking* "This is more than one punch!...I'm done."

"Listen, he had no right to put his hands on you. Nothing in this world justifies that. But with that being said, it didn't come out of nowhere. You named his son after Sean, something he has to live with for the rest of his life. That was fucked up too."

"Well he should've handled that like a man, instead of using his fists! Of course I was wrong, but that doesn't mean I deserved this."

"I'm not saying you did, I just want you to see that there's cause and effect. Going to the courts over this one incident doesn't make sense. It wouldn't be a regular case. He's Michael fuckin Johnson!...The world famous, six time NBA champion, multi-billionaire! Do you realize the rippling damage that would cause? Think about Silas. Labeling his father as an abuser would mess up his future."

"Oh please, only Mike is going to suffer, and rightfully so."

"How can you be so sure? If this gets out, he'll be flooded with lawsuits from people looking for a payday. They'll say he's a monster and use your situation as ammunition. No one will care if they have any real claim, it'll be believable. His reputation will be finished, he'll have to resign from his companies, and he'll forever be blackballed. Silas is his son. No one will want to work with him or put him on a team because of the negative attention his father's name will bring. Sure he'll be rich, but will he be happy? All the comments, ridicule, comparisons...It will take a toll."

"Well, what do you suggest I do then!? I can't be here and I'm not leaving my baby. He's not going to give me custody without a fight. I won't win without telling my truth."

"I know. He's stubborn and not capable of seeing the bigger picture, but you are. You're Silas' mother and have been protecting him since you found out you were pregnant. Continue to do that by letting this go. Everything was fine before today. He knows he messed up and I promise you he won't do that again. Just take a breather, rest, and reset."

*shakes her head* "This is crazy..."

"I agree. It's alot, but you're doing the right thing. I'll go get you an ice pack and some Tylenol."

"...And Silas?"

"Hmm. Maybe I should bring him up after you get some rest. Babies can sense stress. You'll feel better afterwards and that will make all the difference."

A Little While Later.......

"Took you long enough, I was beginning to get worried. Ryan handled his part and got through to Sean's agent. Once he heard the words blackballed he had him make a post addressing the rumors." *rubs Silas' back* "So what happened with Deanna?"

"She's hurting but I think I got through to her. Right now she's resting."

"Good. Did you give her the pain medicine?

"Yes. I told her it was Tylenol like you asked." *with a slight attitude*

"I know you didn't want to do it but it had to be done. I can't trust that she won't change her mind, so it's just a little insurance. Technically Percs have Tylenol in them so you really didn't lie."

"So how exactly will that work in your favor?"

"It's simple. If she goes to the courts, I will have the judge order a hair sample drug test. They leave your system but stay in your hair for up to 90 days. My lawyers will paint a very different picture that you and Ryan will corroborate. I told her ass, I don't play about my kids. She's either gonna fall in line or lose him for good."
