Jinyoung | 746 words | pg-15 fluffy & blushy drabble; “You’re a big piece of inspiration for this, honestly.”
Jinyoung talks with his girlfriend about switching agencies.
“Jinyoung.” She paused to laugh, looking around his apartment at the countless flower arrangements littering every free space before her gaze drifted back to the three new arrangements nestled neatly in his arms. “This is a bit insane.”
His eyes crinkled upwards with his grin and he shook his shoulders at her lightly; she took the hint and plucked the middle bouquet of flowers out of his hands and slid into the kitchen to find something to put it in.
“I know, it’s a lot. And this is like...barely a quarter of what’s been delivered to the company. There’s nowhere left to put any more.” He carefully put down the flowers in his arms, tucking them in between the ones already on his coffee table. He laughed when she appeared behind him, holding the bouquet she’d taken up to cover her face.
“I guess that can go on the counter?”
“There is exactly one free spot on the counter and if I put them there that means there’ll be no space left for me to cook you anything.”
He sighed dramatically, teasing. “Is this your way of saying you want takeout?”
“It’s exactly my way of saying I want takeout,” she parroted with a giggle, squirming as he wrapped his arms around her waist, tugging her up against him.
“Anything for you,” he said, dropping a soft kiss to her forehead before patting the base of her back. “Order whatever you want, I’ve got to call my manager real quick.”
She beamed. “Yes sir!”
--
Later, curled up on the couch with takeout containers on the floor (the only remaining surface that wasn’t covered in flowers), she looked up at him.
“I’m really proud of you, you know. Have I told you that? I am. I’m stupidly proud of you. This is amazing.” She gestured vaguely to the bouquets around them.
He twisted his fingers into her hair as she shifted slightly to get into a more comfortable position with her head in his lap. “Thanks, bun.”
“I’m proud of you and the other guys too. I mean, it couldn’t have been an easy decision necessarily, but you’re all just...thriving. And y’all were so worried about your fans but look! They’re so supportive, it’s insane!”
He laughed, his eyes going soft. “You know, you were a big piece of inspiration for this, honestly.”
“Me?” She rolled her eyes. The idea that she’d inspired any of the members of GOT7 to do anything was almost laughable. “What have I done?”
He shrugged. “I saw how you chased after what you wanted,” he said like it was the simplest thing in the world. “When the guys said they were thinking about not renewing their contracts, I realized this was a chance for me–for all of us–to chase after things we were passionate about. I didn’t want to let that go.”
Her face went soft and she reached up, cupping his cheek in her palm. “Well, I can’t wait to see more from Actor Park Jinyoung and GOT7’s Park Jinyoung both.”
He leaned into her touch before breaking out of it to press cheeky kisses to her palm and the tips of her fingers. “Well, I can’t wait to see more from Park Jinyoung’s girlfriend.”
“Oh?” She wiggled her eyebrows suggestively, yelping in surprise when he wrapped his arms around her waist and tugged her upright into his lap.
“Or perhaps a little less.”
She heard his smirk more than she saw it, her vision blurring when he ran his hands under her shirt.
“I believe that could–” She gasped as his fingers danced higher up her back. “–be arranged.”
Jinyoung laughed, bright and happy and carefree, hoisting her up in his arms as he stood, shoving the takeout containers out of the way with his foot. “Could it be arranged right now?”
She pretended to think, even as he headed toward his bedroom. “Hmmm–” She erupted into giggles as he dumped her on his bed, immediately rolling out of his reach and scrunching her nose up at him. “I think it maybe could be.”
He’d already lost his shirt, climbing onto the bed after her and trapping her with kisses peppered along her neck and across her cheeks. She smiled up at him fondly, melting under his touch the way she always did.
“I like this Park Jinyoung who chases what he wants.”
He paused to mirror her smile. “Me too,” he breathed, then captured her lips.

Hi! By any chance, do you write or read on any other platforms? Like Asianfanfics or maybe LiveJournal?
hi hi!!! ahhhh kinda!
I have accounts on both asianfanfics and livejournal! however, both accounts only have my Super Junior writings on them (and lj also has likeeee one piece of original fiction and five EXO fics lol), so not super applicable if you’re looking for GOT7 stuff haha I can link them if you’re interested!
I also have an AO3 account, but I haven’t posted anything there! I mostly use it for bookmarking/commenting on fics I like hahaha and the only fics I’ve been reading lately are IDOLiSH7 fics ^^;;;;;;;;; (and this one Hikaru no Go one which uhhhhh is a complete masterpiece and I could talk about for ages BUT YEAH ANYWAY)

Youngjae | 1800 words requested by @septetoile: you’re sick and youngjae cooks for you and does all he can to cheer you up
Being this sick was the absolute worst, but having a cute boyfriend to take care of you would make it better. Right?
Your day hadn’t started out that badly. You’d felt a little off when you woke up, but nothing that you couldn’t explain away with your record of sleep deprivation and stress, so you didn’t think much of it.
Cut to an hour later when you found yourself dry heaving into your toilet and wondering what you could have possibly done to deserve this.
You leaned back against the wall, eyes closed, as you tried to steady your breathing. Your throat hurt, your stomach hurt (in addition to feeling nauseous), your head hurt. Everything hurt and everything was terrible and you were pretty sure you were going to perish there on the floor of your bathroom in one of Youngjae’s old t-shirts.
Ah. Youngjae.
You clenched your jaw. Time to stop being melodramatic and get up. There had to be something in your apartment that you could keep down.
You made it all the way to your living room before you gave up, dropping down onto the couch and curling into as much of a ball as you could manage, groaning loudly. “I hate everything,” you mumbled to no one in particular, shaking slightly from the physical effort it had taken to get this far. This was the absolute worst.
---
You lifted your head when you heard the keypad sometime later, trying to decide if you should get up and fight the intruder or just let them finish you off. You hadn’t quite made up your mind when a face appeared above you.
Ah. Right. Youngjae.
You’d forgotten to text him to let him know you Felt Like Death and wouldn’t be able to meet him for your date that day. Right. Apparently he took matters into his own hands. Okay.
He wrinkled up his nose, staring down at you as he leaned over the back of the couch. “You don’t look so good.”
You reached up, the tips of your fingers brushing his cheek in the weakest possible attempt at a play-slap. “Ya jerk.”
He reached down, pressing his palm firmly against your forehead. “You’re really hot.”
This time, you gave him the best smirk you could manage and a sloppy wink. “You bet your ass I am.”
He laughed, leaning down further to press his lips to your too-warm forehead before his face broke into a smile. “I’ll make you something to eat! That’ll help you feel better! Have you taken any medicine? You stay here, I’ll get you some!”
Before you could protest (yes, you’d tried medicine, and no, it didn’t help, not when you’d just thrown it up barely five minutes later), Youngjae had disappeared from view, shedding his thick winter jacket. You thought about yelling after him but decided that would do more harm than good, and nestled back into the couch cushions.
You were asleep before he came back.
---
The loud clanging of a pot hitting tile floor ripped you from a fitful sleep. You stayed completely still, wishing you’d misheard, but more clanging followed and you grudgingly pulled yourself to your feet. You stopped when you were upright, clinging onto the back of the sofa until the nausea passed. When you were fairly certain you were able to walk, you straightened. Time to go see what Youngjae was up to.
---
“Youngjae.”
He looked up, a wave of guilt flashing over his face for just a second before he frowned. “Why are you up? You’re supposed to be resting!”
You were standing in the doorway, eyebrow raised.
There were noodles all over the floor, some half cooked and some raw. Sloppily-cut pieces of raw chicken were spread out across half of the counter, and he’d just dumped the largest chunks of carrots you’d ever seen anyone attempt to put in soup in the pot he’d retrieved from the floor. Your carefully-arranged spice cabinet was open and had been torn through; spice bottles littered the counter, one tipped over and spilled out everywhere.
“What’re you doing?”
Youngjae blinked. He gestured lamely at the mess around him. “Making you chicken soup.”
It was sweet. It was so sweet that he wanted to go through the trouble to try to make you soup from scratch when you were sick, but your head was still pounding and the state of your kitchen was definitely not helping you feel a whole lot better. You shuffled to the pantry, yanking out a can of chicken soup and shoving it into his hands.
“Please,” you mumbled. “Just canned soup is good.”
All the tension fell out of his shoulders and he beamed, carefully steering you back to the living room. “I’ll fix it up real quick, you wait on the couch!”
“I can–”
“No, I got it!” He pressed on your shoulders until you gave in and sat back down. “It’ll just be a second!”
“Don’t–Youngjae–you can microwave–take it out of the can first please–”
You groaned, dropping your face into a pillow. Death truly was determined to come for you this day.
---
It took longer than it should have for Youngjae to open a can of soup, dump it in a bowl, and microwave it, but he got it eventually. He attempted to feed it to you and you did your best to keep it down, stubbornly ignoring the way your stomach was twisting itself in a million directions while he went back to clean up the mess he’d made. You’d offered to help (though you weren’t sure if you actually could) but he refused, demanding that you stay on the couch until you felt better.
You whined.
You didn’t want to stay on the couch. You were tired of the couch. You wanted to go hide under blankets on your bed, which was infinitely more comfortable and further away from the noise coming from the hallway (seriously what the fuck were your neighbors even doing–oh, right, the new people were moving in). But every time you tried to get up, Youngjae would cheerfully push you back down before dashing off to scrub the chicken goop off your counter.
You finally saw your chance when he left for a couple minutes to take out the garbage. Fighting down the ever-present nausea, you shuffled to your bedroom and collapsed on your bed, a contented sigh escaping your lips. So much better than the couch.
A second later, you felt something heavy and soft fall over your body; you blinked open your eyes to find Youngjae pouting over you as he tugged your favorite blanket up to your chin.
“I was gonna carry you back here when I got done,” he mumbled dejectedly in response to your confused glance.
A genuine smile blossomed over your lips and you grabbed his hand. “I’m sorry I beat you to it.”
He sighed dramatically, sitting on the edge of your bed and carefully brushing your hair out of your face. “How could you?” He tried his best to sound hurt.
You laughed, but it dissolved into a cough and you groaned instead. “Sorry about our date too.”
He shrugged lightly. “S’not your fault you got sick.”
“Yeah, but…”
He patted the top of your head. “You know how you can make it up to me?”
You shook your head slowly.
“Letting me kiss you senseless!”
You immediately burst into laughter – he sounded so ridiculous – but honestly the playful banter was making you feel better than you had all day. “First of all, that wouldn’t take an awful lot right now–”
“Meh, I still–”
“–And second of all,” you cut him off, shaking your head, “you’re already in enough danger of catching whatever I’ve got. Kissing me certainly wouldn’t help your chances.”
And he was pouting again, looking far too much like his cute puppy. “I don’t caaare.”
“Yeah, but I think your company might.”
“But I wanna kiss you!”
“Well, I wanna kiss you too, but I don’t want you to get sick!”
“But if I don’t care then it’s not a problem!”
You groaned, covering your face with your hands. “Youngjae!”
He wrinkled his nose, obviously more than a little frustrated at your protests. He just wanted to kiss you, dammit!
It only took a second for him to hatch what he thought was a truly brilliant plan.
“Hey, babe?”
“I’m not gonna be responsible for getting you sick, Youngjae!” Your voice was muffled behind your hands and you squeezed your eyes shut for extra protection against his puppy dog eyes.
He sighed, standing up and tapping his foot. “No, I just thought of something else that might make you feel better.”
“Not kisses?”
“Mmmm, that’s not what I was thinking of at the moment.”
Very hesitantly, you peeked through your fingers.
The second he saw you looking, he tugged off his t-shirt and threw it unceremoniously on the floor. Suddenly you felt way too warm.
Every thought you’d ever had melted away into the deep corners of your brain. “I think you’re the one who’s real hot,” you mumbled, distracted by staring at his toned chest.
He wiggled his eyebrows, grinning teasingly, and slid around to the other side of your bed, dropping onto it and grabbing the edge of your blanket. “You gotta share.”
“Huh?” You tore your eyes away from him, finally realizing that he wanted under the blanket, but he’d yanked it out of your hands and snuggled up next to you before you had a chance to, once again, reiterate how terrible of an idea this actually was. Honestly, you weren’t sure you wanted to reiterate how terrible of an idea it was because he wrapped his arms around your waist and tucked his face in your shoulder and, god, if that wasn’t the best possible feeling in the entire world.
“And does this make you feel better?”
It was your turn to pout, this time at the unmistakable laughter in his voice because he knew for a fact that you could never say no to snuggles.
“...Yeah,” you admitted grudgingly. “And I guess–”
Before you could stop him, he’d pulled himself up just enough to steal a quick kiss.
“Youngjae!!”
He smiled innocently. “Just the one!”
You sighed, rolling your eyes as you wiggled slightly to get comfortable in his arms. “Fine. But just the one!”
He raised an eyebrow playfully. He had you and he knew it.
“...For now. Maybe...maybe more. Later. Shut up, quit staring at me like that, this isn’t fair!”
He tightened his grip around your waist, looking all too proud of himself.
“I’m the best nurse.”
You deadpanned, which he took as an opportunity for another peck before bursting into laughter.
“You’re an idiot, Choi Youngjae.”
“Yeah, but I’m your idiot.”
Despite the fact that you knew you were supposed to be mad at him, you smiled.
Yeah.
He was yours.

Jinyoung | 920 words | rated pg-15 He invites her to a movie premiere, so she makes him help her pick out a dress.
Jinyoung looked up when he heard the tell-tale signs of a door slowly creaking open; his lips twitched upward in a soft smile when he saw a pair of bright eyes staring at him curiously as she poked her head around the edge of the door.
“Next one?”
She gave a single nod, biting her lip gently as she stepped out into the bedroom fully, nervously smoothing out the fabric of the fifth dress she'd tried on that night.
Jinyoung had invited her to the premiere of his newest film, and, while she was ecstatic and immediately agreed, it also meant she'd need a new (much fancier than any she owned) dress. And since he was the one who invited her, she had enlisted him that evening for her fashion show of sorts, wanting his opinion on all of the dresses she'd found on her shopping trips earlier that week. He could have argued, since it was the first time they were meeting in almost three weeks (and there were things he would much rather be doing), but he could never say no when she asked.
He'd settled down in the armchair in the corner of her room, waiting patiently each time she'd disappeared to the bathroom to change into the next dress. They were all gorgeous (nothing could ever look bad on her), but she hadn't seemed completely happy with any of them.
Until this one.
He ran his eyes over her small frame, his breath hitching in his throat when she shyly tucked a strand of hair behind her ear.
“What do you think?”
It was a soft velvet but midnight black, sweeping elegantly down to the floor and hugging her curves in just the right ways. But what really caught his eye was the way it shimmered – it was coated in small black sequins that caught the warm light as she moved, constellations dancing over her body.
When he didn't say anything, her shoulders drooped in disappointment. “No good? –Jinyoung?”
He was on his feet in a second, his face suddenly too close, his eyes too dark.
He ran his hands from her shoulders down the sides of her body, resting lightly on her waist, fingers curling in as he pulled her closer. He dropped his head to her shoulder, his breath tickling her neck and lips hovering over her skin.
“You look like you’re wearing the stars.” His voice was soft, and he attacked her throat before his words finished echoing around the room, peppering kisses up and down her neck until she was nearly shivering in pleasure.
"S-so–I should–?"
“Definitely. You're always gorgeous, but–” He looped his arm around her waist, pulling her up against him in one fluid movement that made her gasp in surprise. “–But...god, you’re... glowing.”
His lips trailed over her ears to her cheeks, which felt too hot but that only made him smile; they'd been dating for years but it still gave him more satisfaction than he would ever admit that he was the only person who could make her blush like that. He ran the pad of his thumb over her cheek.
“Just…” He trailed off.
Ethereal.
Jinyoung was slow and deliberate in his movements, running both hands through her hair before dropping one down to the base of her back, the other resting ever-so-gently on her neck. He smiled at her for a moment before his lips met hers, their eyes fluttering shut almost simultaneously.
She pulled back first, a hint of a smirk dancing in her eyes.
“Jinyoung.”
“Hmm?”
“I need to take this dress off.”
“Mmm.” He didn’t open his eyes; just tucked his face back in her neck. “There any more?”
“A couple…” She laughed at his audible groan. “...but I think I’m going to wear this one. So I’m not gonna try them on.”
“Mmm, good.”
“This one did get the strongest reaction.”
This time, he felt his own cheeks flush; she patted the back of his head gently so he’d raise it and giggled at the splotchy pink she saw scattered across his face.
“I like this one though.”
“I almost don’t want you to wear it,” he mumbled in an uncharacteristic bout of selfishness. “Everyone’ll fall for you.”
“Pretty sure you’re the only one who finds me this attractive.”
“Have you even looked at yourself lately?” He pouted, his hand running up her back to play with the zipper on her dress. “Gorgeous. Always gorgeous. Most gorgeous.”
She just smiled, leaving a lingering kiss on his lips before disappearing into the bathroom.
When she reappeared, she was dressless and Jinyoung quickly shed his shirt, his arms wrapped around her in a flash, his skin electric where it pressed against hers.
“God, I love you.”
“Mmm…” She moaned softly when he tugged on her hair, his lips finding their favorite spot on her neck. “Love you too, babe.”
In a flash, he’d spun her around and she tumbled backwards onto the bed; he was over her immediately, knees by her hips, and he leaned down, running his tongue over her skin and sucking gently at her collarbones.
“I’m gonna show you how much.” His voice was rough and deep, his eyes black with desire, and she squirmed beneath him as he kissed his way up her neck to nibble on her earlobe. “All night long.”
She looked at him through half-lidded eyes when he paused, cheeks flushed. “You better.”
A wolfish grin spread across his face. “Anything for my starlight princess.”

marry you
Tumblr media
Jinyoung | 2693 words Jinyoung comes home one night after being out with his bandmates and persuades her to venture back out with him. Little does she know what surprises he has planned.
loosely inspired by “Marry You” by Bruno Mars
It was early, maybe five, but she'd settled down on the couch of their shared apartment with a book he'd recommended, content to spend the rest of the evening lost in a world of fairy tales and fantastical endings. He'd gone out with his friends after they finished their schedules for that day, adding repeatedly that he was sorry he wouldn't be able to eat with her but they had work-related things to discuss.
She never minded when he stayed out–she knew his work was important and came with crazy hours–but she was surprised to hear the familiar beeps of the keypad barely thirty minutes after she'd sat down.
Not bothering to take off his coat, Jinyoung slid up behind her as the door clicked shut, slipping his arms around her neck and nestling his face next to hers. "Hey, babe."
Her lips twitched into a smile as she turned the page, bumping her head against his gently in hello. "You're home earlier than I thought."
"Mmm..."
If she concentrated, she could smell the barest hint of alcohol on his breath; they must have had wine earlier. He wasn't one to drink much, usually, and he had a lower tolerance than he would ever admit to anyone other than her, but there was no way he was drunk.
It was quiet for a moment, his eyes glossing over the words of her novel as she turned another page. He smiled when he realized it was the one he'd picked out for her. "Hey, babe?"
"Yeah?"
"It's a beautiful night."
"Yeah, it is."
It had snowed the day before, leaving everything covered in a soft dusting of white, not nearly enough to pull the city to a grinding halt but just enough to make everything look a little more magical. It was cold out, but not unbearable, and he knew she loved the way the lights sparkled off the quiet snow.
"Let's do something fun."
"Like what?" she hummed, finally putting down her book and twisting her head to see more of his face. Her breath hitched when she turned, caught by a half-lidded stare and wistful expression.
"I think I wanna marry you."
She blinked once, then laughed, shaking her head slightly. Maybe he was drunk. "I know that, love. We're getting married next year, though." Her eyes drifted to her engagement ring before she brought her hand up, gently threading her fingers through his hair. She understood the sentiment. Between hectic schedules and family requests, they'd had to plan their wedding for a full two years after they got engaged. Out of excitement and a general desire to stay on top of things, they basically had everything planned out; now it was just waiting for the date, and that was the hardest part.
He pouted. "Let's go do something fun, bunny. Please?" He was practically whining, which was both endearing and surprising and made her heart lurch happily in her chest.
She sighed, playfully dramatic, and snapped her book shut. "Well, what did you have in mind?"
His face burst into a smile and he pressed a quick kiss to her cheek before standing up. "Get your coat!"
She laughed, popping up onto her knees on the couch and pulling his face down so she could give him a proper kiss. "Yes sir!" she chirped with a wink and disappeared down the hall toward their bedroom.
As soon as she was out of sight, Jinyoung's smile fell and he slipped his phone out of his pocket, checking his texts. There was one from Jaebum.
All ready.
His fingers flew over the keys.
We're coming.
The response was almost instantaneous.
You nervous?
He frowned.
Yeah. Don't tell the others.
He knew it was futile; Jackson had probably already snatched the phone and he knew he'd be teased for weeks about admitting to the butterflies fluttering uncomfortably in his stomach, but he felt he had to say it nonetheless.
"Alright–let's go!"
He stuffed his phone back in his pocket and held out his hand when she appeared next to him, the grin back in place on his pretty lips. She took it happily, none the wiser to his plans as he led her out the door.
---
They walked around for a little while, stopping in their favorite coffee shop to grab cups of hot chocolate to sip on as they did. It wasn't long before he hailed a cab, mumbling an address she couldn't hear to the driver. She slipped over to sit in the middle seat next to him, resting her head on his shoulder and twisting their fingers together.
She wasn't sure where they were headed, but the taxi ride was peaceful and, by the time it finally came to a stop, she'd almost been lulled to sleep by the warmth of Jinyoung's hands and the sound of his soft voice whispering absentmindedly in her ear. He nudged her and she whined playfully as she straightened, letting him pull her out of the car as she thanked their driver. When the cab drove off, she finally got a good look at where they were.
An elegant mansion on the outskirts of town, surrounded by acres of sweeping gardens and thin forests. It stood tall and proud, having withstood too many years to count, and was, as it should have been, decorated for the holidays with lights and greenery and warmth. It looked like something straight out of a Christmas fairy tale.
She beamed. "It's our place!"
She turned to him, only to find him watching her, his face lit by the glow from the lights around them. Her cheeks flushed when she realized how intently he'd been staring, but he just nodded.
She squeezed his hand. "In exactly one year, we'll be back here. Getting married." She felt him tense up beside her, just briefly, and glanced at him in concern. "You okay?"
"Yeah." He pulled her toward him, pressing his lips to her forehead. "You wanna go for a walk through the gardens? Then we can go inside."
"Yeah!" She stood on the tip of her toes to kiss his cheek before rocking back on her heels. "Let's go!"
Jinyoung smiled back at her, letting her walk a couple steps ahead of him; when she wasn't looking, he whipped out his phone, sending another quick text to Jaebum before rushing to catch up.
---
They stopped in the middle of the garden closest to the house, next to a quietly splashing fountain surrounded by rose bushes and lanterns and twinkling lights wound through greenery. She spun around to face him, wrapping her arms around his neck; his hands found their way to her waist, hovering there. When he leaned down to press his forehead against hers, it felt like they were the only people in the world.
"You know what, Jinyoung?"
"What?" He tilted his head just slightly, bumping their noses.
"I love you. So much. More than anything or anyone in the whole world. God, I can't wait to be married to you. Just one more year!"
He broke out of her arms, taking a step back and shaking his head.
"I..." He paused and took a deep breath. Her brow furrowed; he seemed too nervous. "I don't want to wait."
It was the first time he'd voiced his displeasure at having to push their wedding date so far out and her face softened. "I know, but–"
Her voice died in her throat as he slid down to one knee, reaching out to take her hands in his. "Love, will you marry me?"
She blinked in confusion. Hadn't they...hadn't they already done this?
"Jinyoung...we're already engaged," she reminded him gently, her confusion evident on her features.
"I know." It was his turn to smile, his grin lighting up his entire face as he felt his nerves melt away. "Will you marry me tonight?"
It was a joke, obviously, because they had plans and everyone had RSVP'ed for their wedding next December already and her dress wasn't even done yet and she definitely wasn't getting married in leggings and one of his old sweaters, but it made her smile anyway.
"I would marry you anytime, you weirdo," she laughed, but yelped when the silence around them was broken by loud cheering from six carefully-hidden men.
Her eyes widened when Jaebum, Mark, Jackson, Youngjae, BamBam, and Yugyeom all spilled into the courtyard from different directions, her head starting to spin. Where did they come from? How did they know– What–
She looked at Jinyoung, who was back on his feet and pulling her into his arms, his ears bright red but his eyes shining.
"Wait, you weren't–? What's...what's going on, Jin?"
He bent down, his lips next to her ear. They brushed against her skin as he murmured his reply, sending shivers down her spine. "I was serious. Let's get married. Right now."
"But...our...families..." It was hard to think with the way her stomach was doing somersaults. "I mean, I would love to, but–"
"It's not everyone, but our families are here. And close friends. It's the same date, just a year earlier. Surprise?"
"But I'm–"
"Your dress is done. I haven't seen it, I swear! Mark and Jaebum picked it up from the designer last week."
She could hear the other GOT7 members chattering behind them, no doubt telling the whole story of the surprise, but she wasn't listening. She stared up at Jinyoung, her entire body suddenly feeling too warm and tingling in anticipation. Her heart was beating out of her chest in a way that couldn't be healthy and the grin that slowly stretched across her face made his own heart sing back.
"You know what? Yes. Yes I will absolutely marry you tonight. I can't think of a better possible time."
Before Jinyoung had a chance to react, Youngjae had grabbed one of her arms. Mark took the other and they began to drag her away.
“Time to get you dressed up, then!” Youngjae chirped, obviously too excited about the success of their plan (but, honestly, who could blame him, when they’d been working to get everything perfect and keep it a secret for months?).
She laughed, looking back over her shoulder just in time to see Jinyoung wave before he was mobbed by hugs from the remaining members, happy cheers ringing through the cool air.
---
Her mom and best friend were waiting to help her into her wedding dress. It was everything she’d envisioned, layers of fabric accented with delicate lace and subtle beading, a ball gown fit for a princess. For the first time (but not the last), tears welled up in her eyes and she stubbornly blinked them away, determined not to ruin her makeup, as she hiccuped out countless thank yous.
“You found a really wonderful man.” Her mom smiled, standing next to her as she looked at herself in the mirror, and she nodded, a subtle blush decorating her cheeks.
“He’s the best.”
---
Her bouquet–green and white and gentle blues–looked like it’d been covered in frost, just the way she wanted, and she smiled when it was handed to her. It was perfect. Everything was perfect. He was perfect.
Her dad was there to walk her down the aisle, and she knew she should take in the sight of the venue decorations but the second she saw Jinyoung, all she could do was stare at him. Music was playing and people were murmuring praises as she passed them, but all she could do was stare at him the way he was staring at her: with all the love in the world, their hearts pounding in the same rhythm.
‘I love you,’ she mouthed and his smile grew impossibly wider when she came to a stop next to him.
The ceremony was a blur. There were sweet confirmations of love and “I do”s accented with tears and congratulatory applauding, and he kissed her softly amongst the rowdy cheers of the other members and her friends. Mostly what she would remember is the way his smile never faded, not once, and how she felt like she was floating.
Between the ceremony and the reception, she and Jinyoung found themselves back in the garden courtyard, this time with a photographer in tow. As requested, she perched lightly on the edge of the fountain, her dress pooling around her; Jinyoung knelt once again next to her, taking her hand. A princess and her prince stopping briefly during a late night stroll.
She leaned forward when the photographer told her to, gasping softly as her tiara slipped. She reached up to straighten it, but Jinyoung was faster, on his feet before she’d even fully noticed what was happening. He beamed down at her as he nestled it back in her loose curls, then, quite forgetting the photographer was even there, cupped her cheeks in his hands and leaned in to kiss her.
Her eyes fluttered closed, one hand resting lightly over his and the other hanging off his arm.
She loved kissing Jinyoung. She loved the way her blood would pound in her ears, the way his fingers ran over her skin, the way his lips felt against hers and the way he would nip at them playfully when he wanted to tease her. But somehow, this was different. This was better.
He pulled back too soon. She was about to whine when she heard the click of a camera, and her face instead blossomed into a dark red.
After a few more pictures, Jinyoung politely asked for just a moment alone with his bride and the photographer hurried off to get pictures of the reception hall.
Breathing a sigh of relief, he wrapped his arms around her waist. “So…” He stared down at her, his eyes twinkling mischievously. “This was a pretty fun way to spend our night, huh?”
She deadpanned, whacking his arm when he burst into laughter and rolling her eyes. “Yeah, I’d say so. How’d you even…?”
He ran his fingers through her hair gently, resting them momentarily on the back of her neck and drawing soft circles there. “Remember that night I came home late after filming for that drama back in March? You’d fallen asleep on the couch waiting for me and I accidentally woke you up and I thought you’d be mad but you just…beamed at me, and I realized I didn’t want to wait anymore. I couldn’t stand not being married to you. I asked the company first if I could get time off, then our families. Then it was just...calling everywhere we’d made reservations and changing the dates. All the guys helped.” He smiled. “The hardest part was trying to keep it a secret. I wanted to surprise you.”
She shivered slightly when a cool breeze picked up and he immediately pulled her to his chest, wrapping his arms around her shoulders and holding her tightly.
“I hope–”
“Don’t you dare say you hope it’s okay that you did this because this was the best surprise in the entire world and god, Jinyoung, I couldn’t stand not being married to you either, but I was trying so hard not to say anything and I–” She paused, trying to figure out how to properly express exactly how much he meant to her. “I just love you–and–”
He was about to pull her in for a long, sweet kiss when they heard shouting in the distance. He looked up and she twisted in his arms until she could see Yugyeom and BamBam racing toward them.
“HYUNGGG! NOONAAAA!”
“THE PARTY’S GONNA START WITHOUT YOU!!”
“I WANT CAKE!”
And Jaebum was there thundering after them, yelling something about leaving them alone, but it obviously wasn’t working. She burst into giggles, her laughter mixing with his as he gave her a gentle squeeze and let her go. She slipped her hand into his, twisting their fingers together, and they began to walk back toward the mansion.
"You know what, Jinyoung? I think this might be the best idea you've ever had.” She winked, and he grinned.
"Me too."

I somehow missed this a million years ago and just found it in my notifications but thank you so much omg!!!! ;;;; I really love the Jaebum sandman au too, it was a lot of fun to write!! 💞💞thank you for reading my fics!! 😭💕
some of my favourite got7 writers (and my favourite works by them)
reading something of good quality is incredibly important to me. if a writer is capable of stringing together words with river stream fluency and the ability to hit one with pangs of deep emotion, then they truly deserve recognition. i appreciate these guys all so much and i hope they always continue writing, be it for got7 or who/whatever else. thank you.
@inyournightmares97 - an evil angst queen. be prepared to have your emotions toyed with and much trauma to deal with after. honestly, her writing is so very relatable at times and the realistic, down to earth persona she holds makes her writing (and opinions) very interesting to read. im always lingering on her blog.
@jj-nyoung: nah move your ass to that fragrance series. now.
@septetoile: i just want to drop here that i kind of love you. ‘promise’ and ‘storm’ are examples of my favourite work by you. it’s the little things, gentle and warm, that make it stand out so much to me. thank you, so much, for writing.
@kpopfanfictrash: my personal favourites are the jinyoung valentines series, the commander jaebum drabble, the prince jaebum oneshot and the jackson soulmate au
@jae-daddy: chapter 6+7 of the Holic series is the reason I’m broken inside
@deliriousscenarios: i think the account has been inactive for quite a few years now… but please, even if the series is incomplete, the ‘taming the brat’ series deserves recognition.
@dailydoseofscenarios: mannnnn did the shattered verse series kill me. the angst is a literal wave of sorrow, it’s quite hard not to drown in it… however, there is a little drabble series called ‘the little things’ which balance it out a bit. just a bit.
@parkhabits: good quality writing anyone? right here.
@got7aus: exactly what the username says. i rec you father!jinyoung and prince!jaebum
@mintyjin: you don’t know how much I fangirled over mermaid!jinyoung. you don’t.
@warmau: got7 college aus. and more.
@ijustwantacue: I can’t forget you man. As well as awesome work, girl has an awesome personality too. Look out for updates on the soulmate au series, guys, it’s worth it.
@littlemissgot7: my fave piece of work by you is the jaebum!sandman au. it was just so… beautiful? idk, it makes me happy inside. there’s a lot of work on this page, read it all, people. i dare you. you won’t regret it.
@imdifferentshadesofpurple: im angry that ‘hello blue’ hasnt gained much attention. i’m a sucker for soulmate aus and this one is amazing and painful. be wary.
@greasygyeom: the writing quality is fantastic. the angst hurts.
@high-on-food: jinyoung soulmate au
@pepiygs: hhhhhhhhhhhhh, 24 letters, hhhh, can’t breathe
@zicos: this is one of those writers who, in my opinion, are completely underrated. i just… so pretty. breath of fresh air. sink into the words.
@liannyeong: I really loved your recent jaebum angst. I’ve never cried at written work before but this piece of work dragged me in and next thing I knew, I was drowning in my own tears.
IM NOT DONE! MORE TO BE ADDED, PEOPLE!

hi! do you have any recommendations for other got7 fluff writers? mainly jaebum? your writing is some of the first got7 writing that really sucked me in so any recommendations would be appreciated
hi there friend!!! first of all, thank you!!! u///u it makes me so happy that you like my writing!!
unfortunately, though, I’m probably not gonna be a huge help on recommendations haha I haven’t actually been reading a lot of GOT7 fic recently (or any fic really...) so I don’t really know what’s happening in fic land at the moment. I’ve always liked Nini’s writing ( @septetoile ) and she’s Jaebum biased so check out her stuff!! and you can check out the GOT7 Writers Net members list and GOT7 Content Creators members list and see what they have! and you can check my fic rec tag on my other blog, but, like I mentioned, it hasn’t been updated in a while ^^;;;;;;;;;;;
