I painted this for my photoshop class...it took me so fucking long. it truly is the culmination of my obsessive brain. I absolutely did not need to do this much work for this homework assignment but this would not leave me alone. Anyway, I'm going to go take a nap ✌
If you are a teen and recently (past year or so) got into Glee on Netflix and are joining the fandom and/or are on glee/klaine/darren/chris stan twitter reply to this!!! I’m so intrigued by you lil babies lol I don’t know why but I just have this intense want to education y'all and take you under my wing like you’re my children… So like do you know all the lore?? Like do you know what the Box Scene is? Do you know that the only reason Kurt and Blaine sang Come What May was because the fandom was obsessed with that song (It’s a good song but even then I didn’t really understand why that song specifically) so they lobbied SO DAMN HARD until Ryan Murphy was like ‘yeah okay sure’. Do you know like every Sunday before the episode aired the music for that episode would come out and we would create crack pot theories about what we thought was going on. Or that Ryan Murphy would sometimes answer random questions on twitter (like the only reason we know Blaine’s middle name is Devon is because he said so on Twitter) or he would LITERALLY just spoil plot points in an episode before it aired. Or whenever they were filming outside we would stay up for hours just to get little nuggets of content. And oh dear lord no one did fanfic like us like wtf was the Glee Kink Meme or the fact that scarvesandcoffee.net is still a website that exists to this day. That just the tip of the iceberg…there’s just so much…Anyway, since I’ve been pretty removed from fandom culture for a couple years I just really want to know how y'all new comers experience has been in the fandom that was such a huge part in my formative years :)))
@hkvoyage oh wait I do remember this!!! Oh my gosh so many memories just came flooding back, this was the same interview session, but in a another video, where Darren tells that story of him writing a song for a girl he had a crush on in 8th grade and sang outside her window 😂
