Every Zelda’s favorite video game:
Obviously not directly canon to Wisdomverse since the Zeldas don’t have access to video games, but I had fun thinking of what they’d play if they did :)
Sun — Stardew Valley
Dot — Baldur’s Gate 3, Overcooked 2 (Dot introduced it to the Colors and watched the chaos unfold before stepping in to expedite)
Lullaby — Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice (she’s surprisingly good at it)
Tetra — Assassin’s Creed: Black Flag
Dawn — Princess Peach Showtime (she doesn’t usually play games, but this one is wholesome and she likes it)
Fable — Ace Attorney: Investigations 2 (her favorite character is Justine)
Dusk — Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance (her favorite character is Sanaki)
Artemis — League of Legends (she plays ADC and sometimes loops Wars in as support)
Flora — Kerbal Space Program

Lute!!! OHKO’ing enemies since 2004 😎.
My Lute somehow gained speed every level for the first ten levels and never fell off afterwards. She’s *stacked,* and definitely deserves the art :)
(I’m fighting the final battle of my Hard Mode Blind Run of FE:8 Sacred Stones today, and I’ll be doing my tactical retrospective next Wednesday!!! Stop by my Twitch if you’re interested :).

In JoJo's Linked universe, Sky appears to be sad that he didn't receive a letter from his Zelda. Honestly, I can't wait to see Sky reunited with his Zelda.
Yes, I saw that line!
I don’t know what Jojo has planned, of course, but here’s how I envision this going in Wisdomverse (during the events of The Founder’s Call arc):
*the Zeldas are fighting the horde of bokoblins*
Scrapper: Uh, Miss Sunshine? I hate to interrupt, dzzt, but wasn’t the postman supposed to arrive to pick up letters soon?
Sun: Ack! That was today!?!?
Flora: Just write it now, quick!
Sun: *slashes a few bokoblins* I would, but I’m kind of busy here!
Dusk: And she’d need parchment, wouldn’t she?
Lullaby: Here’s an old title deed. Use the back.
Flora: And Scrapper can write it down for you while you fight!
Sun: Right! Okay, Scrapper, ready? Good. *Ahem* Dearest Link, I miss you more than you could ever know. I think of you with every swing of my sword; every time I unfurl my sailcloth; every time I look up at the island we call home. I can’t wait for your return. Until then, dear, do remember to eat three square meals a day, take your respiratory medication, and play a fitting prank on Legend; Fable says he deserves it. The one with the frogs should do. Rope in Wild if you need to, and remember what I said about mornings vs. evenings… *letter continues*… Above all, dear, I hope that you’ll return safe. The sky feels empty without you, as does my heart. I love you, Link. —Zelda
Flora: Awww!
Tetra: Yuck.
Sun: Okay, Scrapper, go! Get that letter to Skyloft before the postman leaves—
Scrapper: Unfortunately, Miss Sunshine… I think that’s the Postman’s blimp over there, dzzt. He’s probably already done.
Sun: Nooooooooooo…….

Gentle waves lap at the shores of Lake Hylia. Wind’s gazing off into the distance.
“You remember I told you about when Tetra investigated the Ghost Ship and vanished?”
Legend nods again, heart in his throat.
Wind smiles, a bit sheepish. “Yeah, so, I went after her, right? But I missed the railing, and fell into the water and washed up on the shore of an island that I later discovered was part of a dream.”
Legend screws his eyes shut against the onslaught of memories. It’s all so familiar…

Ch 7 of The Secrets We Keep is out!
The conversation at the end of this chapter has been in the works for a long while now, but it’s finally finished. Fans of Legend, Wind, and Time— this one’s for you :)

Been wanting to draw this scene for a while!
Note: Legend and Fable are brother and sister in the Wisdomverse AU, since I follow the ALttP sibling theory. Linked Universe has them unrelated, though, and you can read this whichever you way you want— I’m not here to police the fandom :)
And thanks for the suggestions!

I LOVE YOUR WIELDERS OF WISDOM COMIC!!!! i think its wonderful and so absolutely necessary (if u will excuse my feminism)... the art style is GORGEOUS and im just so grateful someone is giving love to all the zeldas <33
sorry that this is anon but. i dislike being perceived lmao
Thank you so much!!
And heck yeah on the representation front! I’m doing my best to write a variety of interesting characters that will help me tell the stories I want to tell. To me, the fact that they’re mostly women is both incidental and vitally important at the same time.
Tetra was my first Zelda, and I always loved her pirate captain badassery and no-nonsense attitude. I was a bit of a ‘tomboy’ (used in the non-insulting sense, simply referring to a girl who liked traditionally boyish hobbies/clothing) growing up, so I identified with Tetra real hard <3. Heckin’ loved her practical, forthright nature— and the way the games don’t hesitate to show her wackier side and how her actions sometimes get her in trouble— and how she gets out of it, with or without help.
And of course, girls can also be girly and get things done! Love the more traditionally feminine Zeldas as well; shirking feminine mannerisms definitely isn’t a requirement for a well-written female character. You can have a character wear a tiara, battle in a dress, and still be cool. Heck, you can have ’em don a soft gown, not fight at all, and still be an awesome character: maybe she genuinely wants good for the world, or maybe she controls the board with gentle magic and soft “feminine” persuasion to achieve her goals, turning foes into friends— or her pawns.
And characters don’t always have to succeed! Sometimes persuasion fails. Sometimes they argue with someone they know is right. Sometimes her sword falters. But that’s fine! That’s what makes for a good, realistic, fun character— that’s how humans are.
(continued under the cut)
See, I feel like some popular media is trending towards forcing women to be *exclusively* badass, almost flawless in their physical skill yet boyish in their mannerisms.
Like, as a random example: Peach in the Mario movie. Movie Peach no longer giggles and blows kisses, because that would be too girly. And Movie Peach is a perfect platformer and politician, because female empowerment. Same thing with Galadriel in RoP (and it’s honestly a bit different and way worse with RoP Galadriel, because her mother-name is Nerwen which translates to man-maiden and she is canonically a tomboy, but they write it so badly in RoP that not even the rest of the characters in the show respect her for her over-the-top ‘female badassery.’) And as a huge, longtime fan of both the Mario series and the Silmarillion, it kinda hurt to see those Mary Sue-esque, somewhat shallow depictions of what should be complex characters.
Now, the thing is: one or two perfect characters like that are just fine! The problem lies in the fact that many of these shows have only a few female characters to begin with, and they’re all like that. Peach is kinda alright, but Galadriel’s major flaws are barely even shown because the writing has to try to make her look badass even when she’s making objectively terrible decisions.
Because here’s the thing— depicting only perfect women and minimizing flaws isn’t supporting female empowerment. Girls have flaws too, folks. Popular media relying only on the immaculate femme fatale badass just makes for a more cliche story, and imposes higher standards on young girls who look up to these characters. And the forced boyishness forces standards as well.
Why can’t Peach flutter her eyelashes, giggle, and still knock bad guys on their asses? Or, better yet, why can’t Peach flutter her eyelashes, giggle, knock bad guys on their asses, help Mario out, also get helped by Mario, and maybe admit that it took practice for her to get to where she is now?
That’s how she used to be in the middle Mario era, like Super Mario RPG, Thousand Year Door, and Super Paper Mario. Peach was feminine and still relatable to a young tomboy like myself.
I’ve rambled on for far too long, but anyways, that’s what I’m gonna try to do here with the Wisdomverse: tell stories of a bunch of different types of people, where each of them has their own take on what it means to be Zelda.
I can’t promise I’ll be perfect at writing this either, honestly. Perhaps I’ll fall into some of the same traps— I’m sure it’s hard to avoid them.
And perhaps my thoughts on this will evolve over time as well, and I’ll later have an even better understanding of how to write the characters I want to write.
Either way, I’ll certainly do my best!
Tl;dr: I got really sidetracked, but thank you for the kind message! Glad to hear you’re enjoying Wielders of Wisdom; hope to keep building my characters into interesting and at least somewhat complex women as things progress :)

Fair points! Love it!
I (and maybe also the original poster?) was totally counting being sealed away, and events from history.
If you don’t count sealing away, what you’ve said makes total sense! And you don’t have to count sealing away, so that’s totally fair!
The reason I originally counted the sealing away parts is that ‘sealing away’ is framed as being for all eternity. It’s always portrayed as irreversible, isn’t it? Like, hey, you sealed him! You won! And it’s not under Ganon’s volition (as opposed to Ghirahim freely warping away when he loses).
So if you want to include sealing, here’s the breakdown that explains the three Links you mentioned being left out:
- At the end of OoT in the Adult Timeline, you’re implied to have saved the day by sealing Ganon away ‘forever’. But Ganon somehow breaks out later and goes on to fight Wind, and Wind knows the story of the ancient hero and Ganon’s revival, so that’s Wind’s ‘villain who shouldn’t be back.’
- Meanwhile, Time has won in the adult timeline, but his choice to rewind to the Child Timeline means Ganon is also back again, and Time has to deal with that, which is Time’s own ‘villain who shouldn’t be back.’
- Fortunately Time manages to prosecute Ganon and though the Sages later fail to execute Ganon, they do manage to seal him away ‘forever’ in the Twilight Realm. Which Twi eventually learns and has to fight Ganon himself, so that’s Twi’s recurring villain, although it’s weaker than the other two because you can totally make the case that Twi didn’t know much about Ganon before having to fight him. Fortunately, Twi has other recurring villains like King Bulbin, so he probably still fits.
And there you go! That was my reasoning, at least. You’re totally right too, though— sealing doesn’t have to count for a recurring villain if you don’t want it to! And honestly, I think all your points are great!
…Aaaaand it’s 5:30AM here, haha. While you wake, I must sleep. :)
(Also Phantom Hourglass was my first Zelda game and Wind will therefore also always be one of my favs, heck yeah more Wind appreciation >:)

Lolll your statement somehow got me thinking about Dink returning but just casually acting as flamboyant as Ghirahim. Like, the Chain is dead serious, and Dink does that patented Ghirahim tongue thing, and everyone else is confused/disgusted but Sky is freaking the frick out.
That said, though you do fight Ghirahim multiple times, he mostly retreats when he loses, doesn’t he?
Afaik, Ghirahim tends to FE3H Hubert his way out of boss battles more often than not (continuously teleport away after being defeated) instead of letting Link kill him fair and square. It’s not like Ganon or Dink, where everyone actually thinks they’ve killed him but he rolls up to the club a century later like, “I lived bitch,” and the gang realizes, then rolls their eyes and gets ready to fight. Ghirahim just flounces in and retreats back out, with the full implication that you’ll be seeing him soon. Iirc there’s never any pretense of him being killed (until the end).
Love the comparison you’ve made here, though!

Greetings! A fellow Unicorn Overlord enjoyer (Letalis_Rose) had me stumble through to your twitch channel which I then found my way over here and I just love your art! Do you do commissions at all? I hope I'm not asking in the wrong place - I see that your socials link says it's okay to ask for requests here so I hope this is okay!
I don't usually DM through here so here's a link to my socials as well just to be safe: https://linktr.ee/Joshalynne. Thanks so much!
Madame "Moonie" (twitch)
Hey, I remember you! Always glad to have folks from my Twitch stop by Tumblr— and vice versa :)
Yup, I do take requests/suggestions! Essentially, feel free to DM me something you want to see me draw, and I’ll try my best to get around to drawing it! I usually end up prioritizing suggestions with cool/funny ideas that I also want to see for myself, haha.
Lots of cool suggestions that folks have sent my way so far; I haven’t had time to draw all of them yet, but thank you all so much! Keep ‘em coming!
Btw, if I don’t get to anyone’s drawing right away, please don’t feel bad! It’s probably something I tried drawing and just couldn’t get to look the way I want, or it’s something I’m a bit unfamiliar with, or it’s an amazing idea and I’m saving it for when I can put all my effort into it :)
I don’t really take commissions anymore because I just don’t have the time to do them 🥲.
However, people have reached out to me in the past to buy prints/metal plates of my existing art. If anyone’s interested in that sort of thing, feel free to send me a DM as well!

OT Therion and UO Travis— art from this week’s draw stream!!!
They look so similar that I keep calling Travis “Therion” instead of his actual name. Not that I’m complaining— it’s a cool design! 😌
Playing UO on Expert has been a blast so far! I’ve just finished Cornia and that insane elven defense rush, and I’ll be playing the Berengaria (Travis’ sister?) map today! Gonna be fun figuring out what’s up with those two :)
(For more art/strategy content, come hang out with me on Twitch ☺️!)

There are three types of people on Skyloft.
Those who love remlits, those who rightfully fear them, and those who revel in the chaos 😈.
Sun and her little remlit pal Mia have already committed many (non-harmful!) evil pranks >:)

So I finished the Unicorn Overlord demo yesterday, and…
It’s actually good. I didn’t expect it to actually be good.
The gameplay is fairly tactical, which I (as a hardcore Tactical RPG fan) absolutely love. The art and world look cute, and the characters are a bit cliché, but charming nonetheless. And the combat has been a blast so far too. I beat that last demo battle with like milliseconds left on the in-level timer; it was quite the experience.
Anyways, had to draw my boi Rolf, whose Arrow Rain skill was MVP— especially on that Sharon map, since Ochlys can’t take down the towers on her own in Expert Mode 🥲. Flame bow gives him some great utility and synergizes well with another fav of mine, Auch.
Let’s see if the rest of the game holds up. Can’t wait for release!

Saw you were open for art suggestions! I loved your Link and Kaladin art from a while back - might I suggest Shallan meeting one of the Zeldas?
Heck yeah, an excuse to do more Stormlight Archives x Zelda!

OoT Zelda would get along well with Shallan. And OoT Sheik would get along *really* well with Veil :)
(I have so many ideas for this little set of crossovers hahaha)
