Hello, I was looking at your dni and I was curious as to why dsmp isn’t on it?, I don’t hate dsmp it’s just that you have things on your dni that people pair with dsmp
honestly idk, im thinking of adding dream supporters specifically tho because. yikes
it’s just there’s so many content creators in dsmp and i doubt that all of them are dni worthy? so to add any and all dsmp supporters to my dni is like. idk

hi! may I ask how the word s*mp is something that only black people can say? I’m a bit confused
Well I may not be the most qualified to explain (as a white person) but I’ll do my best!
It’s part of AAVE (African American vernacular English) which means it’s specific to everyday language the Black community uses. And the way a lot of people use it is actually a bit inaccurate to its original definition, a definition which is not all that great to begin with being quite misogynistic, and has been appropriated for use as a meme
This happens with a lot of AAVE terms and phrases, white people taking terms or even just sentence structure to add humor to something as if speaking the way a Black person might speak is the ultimate form of humor, and not understanding how that might be considered offensive
When nonBlack people use AAVE as a meme or to be funny, it’s considered appropriation and unintentionally saying that the way Black people speak is inherently funny and “memeable”, which is… not the best look :/
