Warnings?: Flinching 🤷‍♀️ not anything that should be triggering, more of a hurt comfort type fic 👍

Chrome

- Chrome is great. He’s nice, passionate, and caring. But sometimes he can be a bit… loud

- Not that there's anything wrong with that, most of the time you dont think he's aware of it. But his yelling is always sudden and it makes you tense

- Because of this you don't see yourself around him very often and at some point he took notice of this

- One day he was able to get himself alone with you and at first it was going smoothly until he let out a yell of excitement and scared the crap out of you, causing you to tense and flinch away from him

- Immediately seeing you freeze he quickly quieted down, “Are you alright?”

- Doesn’t mean to pry but after a short explanation that you don't like loud noises he tries to tone it down when he's near you

- “Let me know if I get carried away and I'll fix it, okay?”

Ryusui

- Dude is fricken LOUD! You could hear him from yards away

- And it’s not just random spurts it’s almost all the time

- He’s been ‘HAHA’ ing ever since he woke up!

- Due to his yelling you’ve tried your best to avoid him, but it’s hard to do that without being obvious about it

- He’s one of the main people working on the ship and guess who else is largely involved, YOU

- After some time of avoiding him, Ryusui finally took notice to how you would hide in waiting, there have been many times were he’s talking to Senku and as soon as he leaves you show up

- His first conclusion was that maybe you liked him but you were too shy. So he took it before himself to make the first move

- “HAHA!”, He popped out of nowhere and scared the crap out of you, causing you to flinch

- “My apologies! I didn’t mean to frighten you!” He says… still talking loudly

- After the misunderstanding he’s more mindful about his yelling. He keeps tabs where you are in case of frightening you

- If they fail so many times they’ll use their magic to win

- Buys so much food for you both that it's too much to finish

- At the end of the date before you leave each other, they sneak a quick kiss on your cheek and leave you standing there in shock

You fall asleep on him

- It was around 8 when you finished everything up in the classroom and were about to leave the school when Balam asked for your help

- He wanted someone to look over a few of his new picture books before handing them to Iruma

- Sure you were tired but how could you say no?

- Once you both entered his classroom he quickly made some tea for the two of you and layed out 3 different books

- He sat you in his lap despite your protests and began reading to you

- The comfy seating combined with the nice tea and story reading ended up putting you to sleep in a matter of minutes

- It was too comfy and your were already exhausted before hand so of course you wouldn't last very long

- Balam didn't notice until he was half way through the last book when you didn't respond to his question

- He says your name again and when he heard your soft, even breathe he quieted

- Slowly and carefully he folded up the book and took the half empty glass of tea from your lap, placing both down on the coffee table

- He doesn't mind that you fell asleep, he saw how tired you were when you were yawning all the way to his room

- If anything, he's happy you're comfortable enough to fall asleep on him

- For the next hour he busies himself with writing down more ideas for picture books, glancing down at you every now and then

- When you wake after an hour you feel bad for fall asleep on him when you were supposed to help him

- You both went home shortly after and the books were looked over in the morning when you had fully rested

- HA! no.

- He’s not a big fan of physical affection, in private or not

- But just because he doesn’t hug you on his own accord that doesn’t mean he’ll push you away when you try to hug him

- However, if he’s busy working on important science stuff he’ll appreciate if you waited until later

- If you’re not a physical affectionate person then great 👍 it works out

- If you do like physical affection then he’ll try to indulge. He’d give you head pats and shoulder touches. It’s not much but it’s the best he can give without being teased about being mushy

A/N: Alastor and Reader are Ace in this!!

- I’m not sure why but the thought of modern! Teen! Reader explaining what ace is to Alastor makes me happy

- He’s completely clueless about his identity and has probably wondered for years why he hasn’t found the right person yet

- When in reality he most likely never will

- In his day there was never a label for it. It was probably narrowed down to a body dysfunction or mental illness

- And Alastor is very prideful (you’ve seen how he interacts with The King of Hell) so obviously he would never confide in anyone about his ‘problem’

- It wasn’t until you came around with your weird labels and definitions

- Obviously he still didn’t say anything because he always thought it was a him problem

- But one day you both were casually sitting having a snack

- He wasn’t fully listening to you ramble on but you suddenly snuck in a word he wasn’t familiar with

- “Blah blah blah…. I mean you understand right? You’re ace too!”

- Ace? What is ace?

- “Pardon my dear, but what does ‘ace’ mean?”

- Did you just accidentally out him to himself?

- At first Alastor will dismiss it and act as if these ‘labels’ didn’t actually change anything

- When really deep down he feels… relieved? It’s nice to finally put a word on what he was feeling (or not feeling) There’s people out there like him :>

- It takes him awhile to get used to this knowledge, still not sure if he’s glad that he can’t feel sexual and/ or romantic feelings

- When he has a question he’ll go to you

- Not only because he knows you’re ace yourself but also he trusts you just a little bit more with this information. You won’t make fun of him for asking questions and are willing to give genuine straightforward answers

A/N: I didn’t expect that many notes for my last Meruem post so either there are more Meruem fans than I thought or y’all are STARVED. So here’s more ^_^

- This all started because you went outside in the rain and instead of changing and having a shower you stayed in your wet clothes for some time until supper

- And now you lay in a bed stuffed up no matter how many times you blow your nose

- You couldn’t even get out of bed to get some medicine, out of boredom you passed out

- When you woke up you were met with the eyes of a worried King

- Meruem has interacted with very few humans in his time and he has never seen any of them sick

- He doesn’t like how sickly you look; teary eyes, runny nose, and even though you look cute all cuddled up in the blankets he hates that you look to be in pain

- He doesn’t know how to help and that’s what scares him

- Pitou is called in to take care of you

- Meruem won’t leave your side for more than a minute, he makes the servants get anything you need; soup, water, drugs

- He’s even desperate enough to get a human doctor called out to the palace

- Doesn’t take any chances in you getting worse so if a doctor of your kind is what you need then a human doctor is what you’ll get

- After hearing from the doctor what you need he immediately takes action to get it

- If the doctor isn’t telling the truth… they are dead. Meruem is very serious about your health

- Forces you to stay in bed and get rest

- When you get bored he provides you with books, colouring, movies, anything you want

- But he prefers if you sleep instead

- He tricks you into sleeping by cuddling you. It’s so nice being held by him, he’ll run his fingers through your hair while mumbling soft praises

- Is always gentle when trying to move or adjust you

- Asks you often how you’re feeling, he needs to know if you feel worse

- Overall he’s very soft with you and once you’re all better he is always near you in fear you’ll end up being sick again

Reactions to reader having sweaty hands

Balam

- So here's the problem

- He wears gloves and because of them he wouldn't notice right away how sweaty your hands are

- He would however pick up on small things

- Like when you wipe your hands on your pants before grabbing onto something

- Or when you let go of his gloved hand there would be a sweat mark

- He would already come to the concussion that there's something up and you're not telling him

- So he asks and you come clean

- If you're insecure about your hands he can somewhat relate

- He wears gloves so that the animals he’s studying aren't uncomfortable or trying to run away

- He offers a pair of gloves if it would make you feel better

- Isn't bothered by it at all

Kalego

- The first time he held your hand he was… shocked? Concerned? It was quite the pause

- You notice this so you pull your hand away

- And then he's like, “Why did you pull away? Give me your hand.”

- Really didn't mean to make you insecure for a moment there, he just wasn't expecting it

- Won't ask about it right away because you pulled away and doesn't want to but you on the spot or make you insecure again

- Instead, he’ll take your hand and bring it up to his face, will make you cup his face and while trying to reassure you it's nothing to worry about he'll place small kisses to the palm of your hand ^-^

- Doesn't mind at all, a bit of sweat is the least of his problem and he aint no wuss

- You're his love after all, he’ll accept every bit of you

Opera

- The first couple times they didn't notice the sweat, you were always careful to wipe your hands off quickly

- They did take notice to that though, the way you would avoid holding their hand if you didn't wipe your hands first, same with picking things up

- Alway the constant wiping of hands

- They quickly deduced that this little ‘problem’ has always been around, you've always had it and by Operas standards it shouldn't be something you should be insecure about

- There was one time you forgot to wipe your hands before grabbing Operas hand

- You quickly realized your mistake and tried to pull away

- They simply held onto your hand tighter

- After making sure you wouldn't pull away, they brought your hand up to their face and placed a soft kiss to the back of your hand

- There aren't many tricks you can do in the stone age, at least compared to how it used to be

- The most you'd learn would be slight of hand tricks, and as you know Gen is good at them

- If you ask him he’ll slightly tease you a bit first, “Oh? Does my dear wish to be like me~”

- Will happily teach you but he won't share all of his secrets, gotta save some

- In the beginning he likes to suddenly flirt with small touches

- An example would be if you're trying to learn a flower trick and you keep messing up Gen will come up behind you, reach his arms around, and take your hands in his

- He will then show you how to do the flower trick while explaining softly what to do

- But since he’s so close and you can feel his breath on your neck, it’s kinda hard to focus

- And since this guy is a mentalist, he’ll notice your reaction quite easily

- Will then feed into the reaction and teases you more. “Why so nervous? You need to pay attention.”

- Teaches you a bit of psychology as well, he is a mentalist after all and getting into someone's mind is part of the magic

- Once you got an understanding of a few tricks Gen will test you a few times by walking up to you, showing a trick, and then getting you to repeat the trick back to him

- Surprisingly a good teacher, he’s very patient with you ^-^

- If you mess up he’ll simply show the trick again and walk you through it

Balam

- Holds the cup with two hands and has it close to his chest

- Glances down to the drink every now and then while making sure no one's hands come close to your cup

- Very unlikely anyone would try something, Balam would scare them off pretty easily by just standing there

- Your drink is safe with him :)

Kalego

- Is a little stiff at first when you leave him with your drink

- He didn't know you trusted him like that, but once you make that clear he won't betray that trust, keeps the drink close

Opera

- They're a great pick, top 3 to look after your drink

- Will always be near you, not in you personal bubble but he’ll be hovering

- Really likes to be near you, you're his safe space

- In private is a little different

- Hugs and kisses last longer but there still isn’t much of them

- Will accept anything you give him in the comfort of your presents/ house

Rio/ Riri

- They will show you love wherever you are

- Does not care for people looking, won't even notice it

- Won't go overboard with PDA in public such as making out or inappropriate touching

- Maybe it was because you were too far into your own mind, or it was because things were getting more tense now that everyone was kicked into high-gear

- But for whatever reason, you sure were on high alert

- Senku held out a glass tube for you to take, but he must have moved a little too quickly for your liking because you both froze in shock when you flinch away from his out-stretched hand

- “…That’s new.” Senku says and pulls his hand away. He has a small frown on his face as he tries to read your expression

- He hands the tube over, slower this time, and you both continue your work without another word

- Doesn’t ask to explain yourself, tries to make his own deductions and it comes down to the war coming close

- But just in case that isn’t the reason he tries to reassure you. Before you leave he says your name to get your attention, “I would never hurt you… I hope you know that.”

- Will not get mushy about it, he’s sure you’ll be fine. But a simple reassurance won’t hurt

Gen

- You had just finished up a long day of twisting wire and were finally free to sit alone in peace

- However, that was ruined by a friendly guy by the name of Gen. He always showed up at the weirdest of times

- You both enjoy yourselves by sitting in the grass and talking about civilization before the stone

- That is until Gen brought your attention to look at him. The smallest movement towards your face made you flinch away as if he had slapped you

- It was a tense few seconds until he called your name again, softer this time. You look back to him to see a flower in his hand, he was reaching over to tuck it behind your ear you realize

- “No need to be so tense, dear.” He gives you a sad smile and hands you the flower, gently pressing it into your hand

- Doesn’t press you for an answer and quickly changes the subject, “The flowers are beautiful out here, wouldn’t you ay say?”

Reactions to you stimming

Iruma

Stims mentioned: Leg bouncing, pacing back and fourth, tapping

- Knows some about stimming

- He knows that if you're stimming then that means you're comfortable around him, but also depending on the situation you could be anxious

- So in cases where you're bouncing your leg he’ll ask if you're okay ^-^

- Sometimes he’ll join you in stimming

- If you're pacing back and forth he’ll join you for a bit and have a conversation before getting dizzy and sitting down

- But then that gives you an opportunity to sit with him and tap while continuing the convo

Clara

Stims mentioned: Voice stims, tapping and patting, rocking side to side

- Stims with you

- If you have a voice stim she’ll smile and do it back

- If you have a tapping/ patting stim she’ll copy the rhythm

- Knows what stimming is since she does it as well

- If she sees you rocking side to side she’ll simply sit in front of you cross-legged and follow your movements

- No words needed to be said, it's a silent bonding moment between two stimming people ^-^

Balam

Stims mentioned: Repedative movements/ leg bouncing, humming, and hitting your legs and chest

- Knows what stimming is

- The first time he took notice is when you were bouncing your leg, obviously one thing can't confirm anything so he continued to keep an eye on you

- He picked up on many other repetitive movements that confirmed his suspicion but it wasn't until he asked that he was able to confirm that you do in fact stim

- Whenever you hum he likes humming along with you

- The only time that your stims bother him is if you hurt yourself doing them

- When you punch your leg or pound your chest too hard he’ll ask if he can help with touch

- If yes , Balam will pull you into a hug and squeeze you just right

- Was a little annoyed at first
