If you think about all the people the show coded as Dean's friends or lovers, you'd see how often they'd be sacrificed for getting better and trying to get out of the script written for them.
They'd either have to go back to the script one way or another (Benny staying on purgatory or Cas going to th Empty) or were outright killed or turned into something they hated (Jo when she became a ghost, Lee when he worked with a monster and was later killed by Dean).
Then you'll notice how must of the time, they'd sacrifice themselves for a bigger cause that ends up as vain. Not because of their hope, but 'cause the way the game was played, it was erased by some new crisis in the end.
Chuck created a multitude of mirrors for Dean and shattered them one by one. It's like when Naomi created many Deans for Cas to kill, except Dean didn't have to kill clones by accidentally set people he loved on death paths if he wanted to survive. He had to kill a part of himself over and over and over and over again.
His experience in hell? Breaking other people.
Dean grew up wanting to save, because his first act in the whole show is taking his brother in his arms and running out of a burning house to keep him safe. His presentation as a man gives you the clue that he can be a threat when needed, but the key is that he doesn't want to.
Serious matter? His instinct was playing a prank on Sam to soften the blow. He's there because he is lost and scared and his dad went missing, but he puts on a brave face to soften the blow for his little brother.
Idk, is the way love haunts him like a curse. All those people died for him because he was the favorite toy of a cruel god and they unknowingly rebelled by fighting for Dean Winchester.
And yet—
It really was all in vain. Dean dies in the end. He who was saved so many times by human and monsters because he deserved to live, dies in the saddest way even after god is gone.
Feeling violent about this.

SOBRENATURAL CELEBRATION : DAY 2 : Slang ( Venezuela edition )
In Venezuela, a fool in love is called an engüayaba'o. The man in question is conflicted by his feelings; maybe his crush (or so the man thinks) doesn't reciprocate, maybe he got his heart broken, maybe he's just in love and doesn't know what to do about it.
The engüayabamiento (noun) often comes with sadness, desperation or the feeling you can't stand it anymore.
The man in question would be acting foolish or out of character, because when one is engüayaba'o, the mind is second to the heart, so one's prone to leaving common sense behind when the subject of one's love is near (or someone mentions them).

“ For those familiar with the Latine / Hispanic culture, engüayabamiento is similar to despecho when it is related to break-ups and unrequited love. It has good and bad connections, depending on the context. It could simply mean a fool in love.
I find myself often looking at Dean and Cas and thinking how engüayaba'os they are. Always suffering for each other, always sad to see each other part, but the minute they're together, they're back at being the usual fools.
I call them gafos (stupid, dumb) with equal parts affection and desperation. ”

WRATH is one of the naturals answers to horror.
It is in its origin divine, native of the realm of the gods and primordial entities. Being not a feeling of raw evilness, nor a pure sample of kindness in the world, it can be good or bad according to the hands of its wielder.
Wrath is the anger and indignation of the fair and the noble, the rage and compulsion of the lost and the outraged. It's the desire to punish an offense or a crime, either in equal measure or in generous retribution.
Justice or vengeance. Infernal or divine chastisement.
⠀Michael's sword obtained his wrath in the graveyard of his childhood. Naturally, he shaped it into a fire weapon, one to be use to protect the vulnerable from the evil of his world.

Angels shouldn't be able to feel abandoned.
They were created long before humans, long before free will was supposed to mean something ( a length of rope ). According to their job description, they should be one thing and one thing only through their existence. Not life, not yet.
But then Lucifer fell and how could he? How could he? 'Cause they shouldn't have it in them; to be corruptible. Was it their Father's plan? Was him all mighty after all?
And which one would/should they prefer? 'Cause the first ( and second ) time someone abandoned someone else, it was God leaving with his back firmly turned. Every time.
Life was not what they were told.
And as they wait for their extinction, a question poses:
Who would be the last of us?

How old is old for a cosmic being?
Angels probably got their halos from the very matter of the million of galaxies that humans can only dream to reach. Maybe they were weaved from forgotten suns and moons, eyes full of stars that have already died.
It's certain that they can contain all our lives within them, the entirety of human history, every fish to have ever existed in every sea —yes, they're the asteroid water that created our ocean, the one we haven't explore whole yet.
What they are, their true forms, that's a miracle we can't hope to meet. Maybe they were born before geometric figures. Before gravity. Before the first man dreamed the first dream ever dreamed.
Can you be old enough to be older than time itself?
That's how old an angel is.

I'm searching for this destiel au fic where Dean is like a supernatural police officer and he used an old book that belonged to his family to summon someone and he accidentally summoned an angel— Castiel (he really shouldn't have but okay).
Cas and Dean end up working on a case together, because Dean was not that good with his magic and I think maybe his last partner died? Can't remember well... Anyway, they needed to stop whatever was corrupting Dean's world before it was too late. Something about a being of pure energy and a ritual with several people??? And Castiel was on trial and he won because he was the angel of justice?? Idk...
