It wasn't as if he didn't want her to hug him.

Quite the opposite, actually. He l o n g e d for it. But even still, that didn't make it any less surprising when the cheerful girl walked up to him, face red and blushing.

Ah..... he loved her rosy cheeks.

He wanted to lose himself in her eyes forever.

' How the hell is she so damn cute? '

Before he could even speak, thoughts still churning over in his mind, unable to find their way out- the girl took the initiative.

It's funny.

Before he transforms- fast as it may be- he can still feel the warmth of her body touching his own, her heart beating strongly against his own, and the heat from those rosy cheeks.

He can still feel all of that as he lay in a pile of his once worn clothes, no longer human.

Yet it didn't stop the loneliness of reality. The reality that he can never truly embrace her as he wants. That, if he could, he would stay locked in her arms forever.

If he could, that is.

But he was a monster.

And reality was not that kind.
